Adam Lowry C | WPG
Jets' Adam Lowry: Pots goal Monday
Lowry scored a goal, added five hits and went plus-2 in Monday's 3-2 win over the Penguins.
Lowry's first goal of the season gave the Jets a 2-1 lead in the third period. The 33-year-old has collected three points, three shots on net, eight hits, three blocked shots and an even plus-minus rating over three contests this season. He's working on the third line and doesn't have a power-play role, so Lowry's fantasy value will likely be limited to deeper formats and banger leagues.

Yaroslav Askarov G | SJ
Sharks' Yaroslav Askarov: Allows five goals in first loss
Askarov stopped 21 of 26 shots in Monday's 5-0 loss to the Stars.
Askarov surrendered one goal in the opening period, three more in the second and Mikko Rantanen's tally late in the third as San Jose suffered its first loss of the campaign. The 24-year-old had won each of his first two starts but received no offensive support Monday, especially after Macklin Celebrini was scratched shortly before puck drop due to a lower-body injury. Askarov fell to 2-1-0 this season, but his goaltending numbers have been poor, as he's allowed 12 goals on 87 shots faced in just three games in 2026-27.

Jake Oettinger G | DAL
Stars' Jake Oettinger: Earns shutout Monday
Oettinger stopped all 13 shots he faced in Monday's 5-0 win over the Sharks.
Oettinger wasn't heavily tested, but he turned aside everything San Jose sent his way to record his first shutout of the season -- and the 17th of his NHL career. Dallas controlled the contest after Miro Heiskanen opened the scoring late in the first period and eventually provided Oettinger with five goals of support. The victory was also the Stars' first of the season following a disappointing start. As for Oettinger, he's given up just two goals on 35 shots faced in the early stages of the 2026-27 campaign. This was his second start of the season, and while Casey DeSmith is a competent goalkeeper, Oettinger should be the No. 1 option as long as he's healthy.

Mikko Rantanen RW | DAL
Stars' Mikko Rantanen: Takes four shots, scores goal
Rantanen scored a goal on three shots in Monday's 5-0 win over the Sharks. He also added two blocked shots.
Rantanen capped the scoring at 15:22 of the third period, beating Yaroslav Askarov with a wrist shot from the left circle to record his first goal of the campaign. The star winger had been held without a goal through Dallas' first two contests, making Monday's tally a welcome breakthrough as the Stars secured their first victory. Rantanen remains a focal point of the Dallas offense and should continue seeing heavy usage in all situations, meaning his slow start will likely become a distant memory in a few more games given his elite usage rate.

Miro Heiskanen D | DAL
Stars' Miro Heiskanen: Breaks deadlock vs. San Jose
Heiskanen scored a goal on two shots in Monday's 5-0 win over the Sharks.
Heiskanen opened the scoring with 1:09 remaining in the first period, collecting a rebound behind the net and banking a backhand off Dmitry Orlov and Yaroslav Askarov. The tally ultimately stood as the game-winner after Jake Oettinger blanked San Jose at the other end. Heiskanen continues to occupy a major role on Dallas' blue line and should remain heavily involved offensively while seeing substantial time with the Stars' top power-play unit. He has scored two goals in his first three outings of the season while averaging 2.67 shots on goal per game.

Jason Robertson LW | DAL
Stars' Jason Robertson: First points of season Monday
Robertson scored a goal on four shots and added an assist in Monday's 5-0 win over the Sharks.
Robertson set up Jamie Benn's second-period tally with a nifty touch pass before scoring one of his own at 16:30, beating Yaroslav Askarov from the slot to stretch Dallas' lead to 4-0. It was Robertson's first goal of the campaign after he was held off the scoresheet in each of the Stars' first two games. He remains entrenched in a prominent offensive role alongside Roope Hintz and Benn, and while repeating the 45-goal output from 2025-26 might be difficult on paper, Robertson should be a dominant offensive weapon for one of the top teams in the West, so the upside is there as long as he stays healthy.
-
Jamie Benn LW | DAL
Stars' Jamie Benn: Notches goal, assist in win Monday
Benn scored a goal on four shots and added an assist in Monday's 5-0 win over the Sharks.
Benn helped set up Miro Heiskanen's goal late in the first period before getting on the board himself at 6:19 of the second, jamming home a feed from Jason Robertson to extend Dallas' advantage to 3-0. It was the first multi-point performance of the season for Benn, who skated on the top line alongside Robertson and Roope Hintz as the Stars picked up their first victory of the campaign. He should continue to have plenty of opportunities to score moving forward as long as he stays healthy and in a top-six role, as the Stars have one of the deepest forward lines in the Western Conference.

Sergei Murashov G | PIT
Penguins' Sergei Murashov: Stops 30 shots in loss
Murashov stopped 30 of 33 shots in Monday's 3-2 loss to the Jets.
Murashov got the start after Arturs Silovs allowed five goals on 25 shots in Saturday's overtime win over Montreal, and while he responded with a .909 save percentage, it wasn't enough to lift the Penguins to victory here. Expect Murashov to return to his regular backup role when Pittsburgh takes on Washington on Wednesday.

Macklin Celebrini C | SJ
Sharks' Macklin Celebrini: Being evaluated
Head coach Ryan Warsofsky said after Monday's 5-0 loss in Dallas that Celebrini (lower body) is being evaluated and will continue to be assessed Tuesday to see where he is at, Max Miller of NHL.com reports.
Warsofsky added that Celebrini is with the team and did not leave American Airlines Center after being a late scratch Monday. Ty Dellandrea made his season debut as a result of Celebrini's injury, while Alexander Wennberg centered the top line, though Warsofsky did a lot of line juggling throughout Monday's game due to the Sharks being thoroughly outplayed. If Celebrini is forced to miss any time, Wennberg will have heightened fantasy value, and Michael Misa should see an increased role as well. San Jose's next game is in St. Louis on Thursday.

Clay Stevenson G | WPG
Jets' Clay Stevenson: Makes 29 saves in win Monday
Stevenson stopped 29 of 31 shots in Monday's 3-2 win over the Penguins.
Stevenson was beaten only by Ben Kindel in the second period and Declan Carlile in the third, keeping Winnipeg within striking distance until the offense erupted for three goals in a span of 4:19 during the final frame. The 27-year-old also protected the one-goal advantage late, denying Evgeni Malkin from the high slot in the closing seconds. Stevenson earned the victory in his Jets debut while making his sixth career NHL start, but he should remain Winnipeg's No. 2 option between the posts behind Stuart Skinner while Connor Hellebuyck (suspension) remains away from the team.
