  • Matt Murray G | SEA

Kraken's Matt Murray: Injured late in first period

Murray (lower body) won't return to Saturday's game versus the Sharks.

Murray sustained the injury on the Sharks' first goal, a power-play tally by Alexander Wennberg. This puts the Kraken's goalie depth in danger, as Joey Daccord (upper body) is still working his way back from a stint on injured reserve. Murray's status should be updated in the coming days, but if his injury is bad enough, he may find himself on IR.

The Ducks have seen remarkable success this year with an 11-5-1 record, but Anaheim has lost its past two games while being outscored 10-4.

  • Joseph Woll G | PHI

Maple Leafs' Joseph Woll: Making season debut Saturday

Woll (personal) is expected to start on the road against Chicago on Saturday, per David Alter of The Hockey News.

Woll hasn't played for the Maple Leafs yet this season because he was away from the team for personal reasons. He did get into two AHL games during his recent conditioning stint, but Woll struggled with a 3.72 GAA and an .885 save percentage with the Marlies. Chicago is 8-5-4 and ranks 10th in goals per game with 3.29 this year.

The 36-year-old netminder has a 5-4-0 record, 3.00 GAA and .892 save percentage in nine outings this year. Edmonton has been a mixed bag with an 8-7-4 record and 3.05 goals per game, but Zach Hyman (wrist) will make his season debut against the Hurricanes on Saturday.
