Sergei Bobrovsky G | TOR
Panthers' Sergei Bobrovsky: In goal versus Canes
Bobrovsky will get the starting nod on the road against Carolina on Tuesday, Jameson Olive of the Panthers' official site reports.
Bobrovsky is rolling right now, posting a five-game winning streak during which he is sporting a 2.74 GAA and an .895 save percentage. While he has featured in only four of the Cats' last eight contests, with Daniil Tarasov starting the other four, Bobrovsky remains the No. 1 option in the crease and should be near the top of the games-played list at the end of the year.

Alex Lyon G | BUF
Sabres' Alex Lyon: Patrolling crease Tuesday
Lyon will be in goal on the road against the Senators on Tuesday, Mike Harrington of The Buffalo News reports.
Lyon is undefeated in his last five outings while posting a 2.31 GAA and .922 save percentage. With the 33-year-old netminder performing at this level, it seems head coach Lindy Ruff is content to ride the hot hand and utilize Lyon ahead of Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen.
-
Jacob Markstrom G | FLA
Devils' Jacob Markstrom: Defending cage versus Isles
Markstrom will patrol the crease on the road against the Islanders on Tuesday, Stefen Rosner of NHL.com reports.
Markstrom is having a rough December in which he is sporting a 2-3-0 record and a 2.96 GAA in six outings, while Jake Allen has featured in six games as well. If the Devils continue to split the workload between the duo, the 35-year-old Markstrom won't offer more than mid-range fantasy value down the stretch.
-
Filip Gustavsson G | MIN
Wild's Filip Gustavsson: Tending twine Tuesday
Gustavsson will defend the cage at home versus the Predators on Tuesday, Jessi Pierce of NHL.com reports.
Gustavsson comes into Tuesday's tilt on a five-game winning streak during which he has posted a 1.40 GAA, one shutout and .945 save percentage. The 27-year-old backstop has been seeing the bulk of the workload, but the strong performance of Jesper Wallstedt has seen Gustavsson giving up a few extra starts of late.
-
Jeremy Swayman G | BOS
Bruins' Jeremy Swayman: Between pipes against Habs
Swayman will tend the twine at home versus the Habs on Tuesday, Scott McLaughlin of WEEI reports.
Swayman will make his sixth straight appearance in the crease, having gone 1-2-1 with a 3.27 GAA in his last five outings. Through 25 games this season, the 27-year-old netminder is 14-9-1 with a .906 save percentage. Looking ahead to the rest of the year, Swayman should be capable of reaching the 20-win threshold for the fifth straight year and could reach the 30-win mark for the first time in his career.
-
Linus Ullmark G | OTT
Senators' Linus Ullmark: Exits ice first Tuesday
Ullmark was the first goalie to leave the ice ahead of Tuesday's home tilt with Buffalo, TSN 1200 Ottawa reports, indicating he'll guard the crease.
Ullmark is riding a four-game winning streak during which he has posted a 1.74 GAA, one shutout and .928 save percentage. The veteran netminder should continue to see the majority of the starts ahead of Leevi Merilainen, making the former a strong fantasy target, especially if he continues to play at this level.
-
Logan Thompson G | WAS
Capitals' Logan Thompson: Exits ice first Tuesday
Thompson was the first goalie to leave the ice Tuesday, Sammi Silber of The Hockey News reports, indicating he'll tend the twine at home versus the Rangers.
Thompson has struggled to pick up wins of late, going 2-2-2 in his last six outings despite a 2.28 GAA and two shutouts. Still, the 28-year-old backstop continues to see the bulk of the workload for the Caps and figures to hold onto the No. 1 job heading into 2026.
-
Frederik Andersen G | EDM
Hurricanes' Frederik Andersen: Gets starting nod against Cats
Andersen will be between the pipes at home versus the Panthers on Tuesday, Chip Alexander of The Raleigh News & Observer reports.
Andersen hasn't featured in the crease since Dec. 4 versus Toronto, with the Canes having split the last nine starts between Brandon Bussi and Pyotr Kochetkov. At some point, Carolina will likely have to make a decision in the crease rather than carrying three netminders, and it appears Andersen could be the odd man out.
-
John Gibson G | DET
Red Wings' John Gibson: In goal Tuesday
Gibson will get the starting nod at home versus the Stars on Tuesday, Helene St. James of the Detroit Free Press reports.
Gibson is riding a seven-game winning streak during which he has posted a 2.00 GAA, two shutouts and a .934 save percentage. With an upcoming back-to-back coming out of the Christmas break, Gibson figures to split the starts against the Hurricanes and Maple Leafs on Saturday and Sunday, respectively, with Cam Talbot.

Dan Vladar G | PHI
Flyers' Dan Vladar: Nabs win in return
Vladar made 23 saves in Monday's 5-2 win over the Canucks.
Making his return from a brief two-game absence due to an upper-body injury, Vladar took a shutout into the third period before Max Sasson got behind the Philly defense and slipped a shot past the netminder midway through the final frame. Vladar hasn't taken a regulation loss since Dec. 1, going 3-0-2 over his last five starts with a stellar 1.76 GAA and .924 save percentage.
