Gibson was recalled from AHL Hershey on Tuesday.
Gibson has a 9-8-3 record with a 2.79 GAA and a .907 save percentage in 22 AHL appearances this season. According to Tom Gulitti of NHL.com, Charlie Lindgren skipped Tuesday's practice for maintenance and will undergo further evaluation ahead of Wednesday's road matchup against Toronto. If Lindgren is unavailable, Gibson could serve as Logan Thompson's backup versus the Maple Leafs.

Dan Vladar G | PHI
Flyers' Dan Vladar: Tending twine Tuesday
Vladar will draw the road start in Tuesday's clash against New Jersey, per Jordan Hall of NBC Sports Philadelphia.
Vladar will look to extend his two-game win streak Tuesday and attempt to earn his seventh victory in his last 10 games. Overall, the 28-year-old netminder has a 26-13-7 record, a 2.43 GAA and a .906 save percentage across 48 appearances this season. He has been excellent down the stretch of the regular season and has been a major component as to why the Flyers currently occupy the third playoff spot in the Metropolitan Division. He'll face off against New Jersey on Tuesday, which should be a favorable matchup for Vladar given the team's 26th-ranked 2.78 goals per game this season.

Tolopilo will guard the home goal against the Golden Knights on Tuesday, per Canucks Insider.
Tolopilo has been lit up in each of his last four starts, allowing at least four goals during his four-game losing streak. The Belarusian netminder is 5-9-2 with a 3.73 GAA and an .880 save percentage over 18 outings in 2025-26. Lukas Dostal G | ANA
Ducks' Lukas Dostal: Drawing start against Nashville
Dostal will patrol the home blue paint versus the Predators on Tuesday, Derek Lee of The Hockey News reports.
It's been a tough stretch for Dostal lately, as he's been blitzed for 13 goals on 83 shots (.843 save percentage) over his last three appearances, all of which were regulation losses. The 25-year-old goaltender hasn't played since Friday, and the Ducks have been off since Saturday. Meanwhile, the Predators are on the second half of a back-to-back after falling to the Kings on Monday in a shootout.

Anton Forsberg G | LA
Kings' Anton Forsberg: Earns win Monday
Forsberg stopped 29 of 31 shots in Monday's 3-2 shootout win over the Predators.
Forsberg is just two wins away from reaching 15 for the third time in his career, although he might fall short of accomplishing that goal since the Kings have only five regular-season games left. Forsberg is ending the campaign on a strong note, though. Over his last five outings, the 33-year-old veteran has posted a 2.51 GAA and a .912 save percentage despite a not-so-impressive 2-2-0 record.
-
Juuse Saros G | NSH
Predators' Juuse Saros: Tagged with SO loss Monday
Saros stopped 26 of 28 shots in Monday's 3-2 shootout loss to the Kings.
Saros was beaten in the first and second periods, each time by wristers courtesy of Joel Armia and Scott Laughton, and he ended up being tagged with the loss after the shootout. Despite the outcome, this was a step in the right direction for Saros, who was coming off three straight games in which he had posted a save percentage below the .900 threshold. It remains to be seen whether Saros or Justus Annunen will get the nod for the second leg of the back-to-back set against the Ducks on Tuesday.

Scott Wedgewood G | COL
Avalanche's Scott Wedgewood: Tending twine in St. Louis
Wedgewood will between the road pipes against the Blues on Tuesday, Corey Masisak of The Denver Post reports.
Wedgewood has gone 3-1-0 with a 1.48 GAA and a .940 save percentage over his last four appearances, with his most recent performance being a 17-save shutout in Dallas on Saturday. The Avalanche lost to the Blues in Colorado on Sunday, but Mackenzie Blackwood was in goal for that game. This will be Wedgewood's first start against St. Louis in 2025-26. He is 3-1-1 with a 2.21 GAA and a .923 save percentage across five regular-season games against the Blues during his career.
-
Alex Nedeljkovic G | SJ
Sharks' Alex Nedeljkovic: Makes 27 saves in win
Nedeljkovic stopped 27 of 29 shots in Monday's 3-2 win over the Blackhawks.
The 30-year-old goaltender is putting up solid numbers to close out the regular season, and he's won his last three starts while Yaroslav Askarov has been struggling. Thus, it's not surprising to see both goaltenders splitting the workload with San Jose still alive in the playoff race. During his three-game winning run, Nedeljkovic has posted a 1.67 GAA and an impressive .932 save percentage.
-
Spencer Knight G | CHI
Blackhawks' Spencer Knight: Beaten three times Monday
Knight stopped 20 of 23 shots in Monday's 3-2 loss to the Sharks.
Knight was beaten twice in the second period and once more in the third, and the Blackhawks went from being up 1-0 to down 3-1 in the process. Knight has been struggling massively of late and is ending the regular season on a sour note despite being Chicago's No. 1 goaltender. He's lost his past six starts, a stretch in which he's gone 0-4-2 with a 3.40 GAA and an .897 save percentage. The Blackhawks have four more games left on the schedule, and all of them will be at home, with the next one being against the Hurricanes on Thursday.
