K'Andre Miller D | CAR
Hurricanes' K'Andre Miller: Close to day-to-day
Miller (lower body) is closer to day-to-day than having a long-term issue, Walt Ruff of the Hurricanes' official site reports Saturday.
Miller will be out for a straight game against Dallas on Saturday, but Saturday's update is still encouraging. He has averaged 23:32 of ice time across six appearances this year. Carolina needs more than one blueliner to step up to fill that void, especially with Jaccob Slavin (lower body) unavailable as well. Joel Nystrom logged 16:02 of ice time versus the Avalanche in Thursday's 5-4 shootout win due to Miller's absence.

Hampus Lindholm D | BOS
Bruins' Hampus Lindholm: Unavailable Saturday
Lindholm (undisclosed) has been ruled out of Saturday's home tilt versus Colorado, Scott McLaughlin of WEEI reports.
Lindholm will miss his fourth straight game and seventh of his last eight. Lindholm has yet to pick up a point in three games this season, but does have six blocked shots and two shots on goal. He could return as early as Monday in Ottawa.

Tom Willander D | VAN
Canucks' Tom Willander: Sent to AHL
Willander was reassigned to AHL Abbotsford on Saturday.
Willander was a healthy scratch for both games after he was recalled Oct. 20. The 20-year-old was selected 11th overall in the 2023 Draft and has yet to appear in an NHL game. He will get plenty of ice time in Abbotsford and could be recalled later in the season. The Canucks recalled defenseman Victor Mancini in a corresponding move.

Nicolas Hague D | NSH
Predators' Nicolas Hague: Game-time decision Saturday
Hague (upper body) will be a game-time decision versus Los Angeles on Saturday, according to Brooks Bratten of the Predators' official site.
Hague has been out all season and is currently on injured reserve, but his activation will be a formality if he receives the green light to play. If he's healthy, Hague will replace Roman Josi (upper body) in the lineup, or Nick Blankenburg will enter the lineup.
-
Roman Josi D | NSH
Predators' Roman Josi: Deemed week-to-week
Josi (upper body) is week-to-week, Brooks Bratten of the Predators' official site reports Saturday.
Josi has one goal, four assists, 19 shots on net, 15 blocked shots and four hits across eight appearances this season. The Predators clarified that Josi's injury isn't related to his POTS diagnosis from last season, but it's still unclear how long he will be unavailable. The Nashville captain will probably be replaced in Saturday's lineup against the Kings by Nicolas Hague (upper body), who will be a game-time decision. If Hague isn't ready to return, Nick Blankenburg will play instead.
-
Brandon Montour D | SEA
Kraken's Brandon Montour: Back with team
Montour (personal) was activated from the non-roster list Saturday.
In a corresponding move, Jared McCann (lower body) was put on injured reserve. Following a four-game absence, Montour will be available for Saturday's matchup against Edmonton. He has collected four assists, 11 shots on goal, nine blocked shots and eight hits in four appearances this season.
-
Caleb Jones D | BUF
Penguins' Caleb Jones: Goes on injured reserve
Jones (lower body) was placed on injured reserve Saturday.
Jones will be out of action for approximately eight weeks. He has chipped in one assist, five shots on goal, 15 blocked shots and 10 hits across seven appearances this season. With Jones unavailable, Matt Dumba and Connor Clifton may compete for playing time on Pittsburgh's third pairing.

Dougie Hamilton D | NJ
Devils' Dougie Hamilton: Three-point effort Friday
Hamilton recorded two power-play goals and an even-strength assist in Friday's 3-1 win over the Sharks.
Hamilton ended his six-game point drought, stepping up in Friday's win with two of the team's three goals. He was due for a breakout performance and has racked up 14 shots on net over his last three outings. Hamilton has three goals, 23 shots, 13 blocks and 11 hits through eight appearances this season.

Ryan Ufko D | NSH
Predators' Ryan Ufko: Strong game for Admirals
Ufko scored a goal and added two assists in AHL Milwaukee's 6-2 win over San Jose on Friday.
Ufko looks to have taken a step up on offense this season with five points through three games. He had eight goals and 30 points in 72 regular-season outings as an AHL rookie in 2024-25. Ufko also made his NHL debut for the Predators in April, logging 15:37 of ice time against Utah. While he's a bit undersized for a defenseman, he could still earn a call-up if his offense remains strong.
