Amadeus Lombardi C | NJ
Devils' Amadeus Lombardi: Earns first NHL point
Lombardi notched an assist in Saturday's 4-1 win over the Canucks.
Lombardi signed a two-year contract with the Devils in the summer, though this season is a two-way deal. He earned his spot in training camp and has opened the year as a fourth-line forward, and after setting up a Jesper Boqvist goal Saturday, Lombardi has his first career point. The 23-year-old Lombardi has added five shots on net, two hits, four PIM and a minus-1 rating over four appearances so far. Stefan Noesen was waived Thursday, which is another vote of confidence for Lombardi to stay in the NHL.

Jonathan Marchessault C | NSH
Predators' Jonathan Marchessault: Nets power-play goal in defeat
Marchessault scored a power-play goal on three shots and added three hits in Saturday's 3-2 shootout loss to the Senators.
Marchessault doubled Nashville's advantage at 13:10 of the first period, converting a setup from Steven Stamkos and Roman Josi for his first goal of the season. The 35-year-old veteran might not be the player he once was, but he should retain some fantasy appeal as long as he stays in the top line alongside Steven Stamkos. Still, with just one point in five games, he's not worth rostering outside of deep leagues, especially after notching just 31 points (12 goals, 19 assists) across 62 regular-season contests in 2025-26.

Auston Matthews C | TOR
Maple Leafs' Auston Matthews: Four-point outburst extends streak
Matthews scored twice and had two assists in Saturday's 6-3 win over Colorado.
It was Matthews' 84th multi-goal game to move within one of tying Joe Mullen (85) for the third most in NHL history among U.S.-born players. After being held scoreless in his first two games, Matthews has gone on a four-game rip with four goals, six assists and 17 shots. There are two, four-point outbursts in that span. His 10 points put him into a tie for fifth overall in the NHL. Matthews is back, hockey lovers -- this season is going to be a great ride.

Morgan Frost C | CGY
Flames' Morgan Frost: Nets goal in loss
Frost scored a goal in Saturday's 4-2 loss to the Ducks.
Frost has accounted for two of the Flames' seven goals so far this season. He's added 10 shots on net, three hits, four blocked shots and a minus-6 rating over five contests. The 27-year-old center is at least seeing steady top-six minutes and power-play time, but the Calgary offense is one fantasy managers should make wide circles around.
-
Mikael Granlund C | ANA
Ducks' Mikael Granlund: Dishes pair of assists
Granlund notched two assists, including one on the power play, and fired four shots on goal in Saturday's 4-2 win over the Flames.
Granlund extended his point streak to five games, and this was his second multi-point effort in a row. The 34-year-old center has two goals, five assists, three power-play points, 10 shots on net, four blocked shots and an even plus-minus rating so far this season. Granlund's production is rarely flashy, but he's consistent in a top-six role with power-play time, so he can be trusted in fantasy.

Nikita Nesterenko C | ANA
Ducks' Nikita Nesterenko: Goals in consecutive games
Nesterenko scored a goal on three shots and added four hits in Saturday's 4-2 win over the Flames.
Nesterenko has scored in each of the last two games. The physical winger has two goals, six shots, 20 hits and a plus-2 rating over five appearances this season. His playing time could go up if Cutter Gauthier (upper body) is forced to miss time after exiting Saturday's contest early. Nesterenko could help in banger leagues, but he won't have widespread fantasy appeal without a power-play role.

Jean-Gabriel Pageau C | NYI
Islanders' Jean-Gabriel Pageau: Hits 400-point plateau
Pageau scored a goal Saturday in a 5-3 loss to Tampa Bay.
He tipped a Matthew Schaefer shot for his first goal of the season. Pageau has three points (one goal, two assists), 13 hits, four shots and four blocks in five games this season. The goal was his 400th NHL point (175 goals, 225 assists); it came in Pageau's 867th game.

Tyler Seguin C | DAL
Stars' Tyler Seguin: Forces overtime
Seguin scored a goal on two shots in Saturday's 2-1 shootout loss to the Penguins.
Seguin scored with 30 seconds left in the third period, tying the game to salvage a standings point. The goal was his first point of the season, to go with 11 shots on net, one hit, one blocked shots, six PIM and a minus-2 rating over five contests. Seguin is coming back from a torn ACL that ended his 2025-26 campaign in early December. He's filling a middle-six role for the Stars early in the campaign, but it wouldn't be surprising if he still needs to shake off some rust given the lengthy recovery process of his most recent injury.
-
Connor Dewar C | PIT
Penguins' Connor Dewar: Pots goal Saturday
Dewar scored a goal on three shots in Saturday's 2-1 shootout win over the Stars.
Dewar opened the scoring at 1:57 of the third period for his first point of the campaign. The 27-year-old has filled a steady fourth-line role to open 2026-27, providing some physicality from that spot. Over six games, he's supplied eight shots on net, 10 hits, four blocked shots and a minus-1 rating. Dewar is unlikely to repeat his 30-point effort from 78 regular-season games a year ago, and his fantasy value is limited to deep banger leagues.

Ryan Poehling C | ANA
Ducks' Ryan Poehling: Doesn't finish contest
Poehling sustained an apparent lower-body injury in Saturday's game versus the Flames and didn't finish the contest.
Poehling was coming in on a shorthanded rush and buried his shot as he got clipped. As he fell, he went legs first into the goalpost. The 27-year-old had a goal and an assist in the contest, giving him his first points through five outings this season. An update on his status should be provided prior to Tuesday's rematch versus the Flames in Anaheim.
