  • Zach Tom G | GB

Packers' Zach Tom: Unable to practice Wednesday

Tom (back/knee) did not participate at practice Wednesday.

Tom picked up a knee injury in Week 15 at Denver to go along with the back issue he's been dealing with nearly all season, and now he's in danger of having to sit out in Week 16. Unless he manages to return to practice Thursday, he'll probably end up sitting out Saturday's game at Chicago.

  • Giants' Demetrius Flannigan-Fowles: Absent from practice

Flannigan-Fowles (illness) did not participate at practice Wednesday, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.

Flannigan-Fowles appears to still be dealing with the illness that caused him to be considered questionable to play in Week 15 before ultimately logging five snaps on special teams in the team's loss to the Commanders. The linebacker will have two more chances to return to practice before Sunday's contest against the Vikings.

  • Patriots' Robert Spillane: No practice Wednesday

Spillane (ankle) did not practice Wednesday.

Spillane didn't play at all in New England's Week 15 loss due to a foot injury, despite officially being active, and now he's managing an ankle issue. The fact that he was unable to practice to start the week is concerning, but he'll still have two days to increase his participation ahead of Sunday's game against the Ravens.

  • Patriots' Harold Landry: Back on injury report

Landry (knee) did not practice Wednesday.

Landry has been on the injury report with a knee injury since late November. He's played in every game since, so he should be available for New England's Week 16 matchup against the Ravens.

  • Giants' Rakeem Nunez-Roches: Misses practice Wednesday

Nunez-Roches (ankle) did not participate at practice Wednesday, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.

Nunez-Roches was unavailable for the team's Week 15 loss to the Commanders as he nursed an ankle injury, and he has now opened the week on the sidelines at practice. The defensive tackle didn't practice at all last week, and he'll have two more chances to get back out on the field prior to Sunday's matchup with Minnesota.

  • Jaguars' Josh Hines-Allen: Dealing with illness

Hines-Allen (illness/shoulder) did not participate at practice Wednesday.

Hines-Allen led Jacksonville defensive linemen in defensive snaps (50) in Week 15 versus the Jets, but he's now missing the Jaguars' first practice of the new week with a couple different issues. He'll likely need to participate in some capacity at practice Thursday or Friday to have any chance of playing in Week 16 at Denver.

  • Chris Jones DE | KC

Chiefs' Chris Jones: Limited at practice

Jones (hamstring) was a limited participant at practice Wednesday.

Jones went without a tackle for the first time this season in the Chiefs' 16-13 loss to the Chargers in Week 15, and he may have left he contest a little worse for wear. The defensive lineman will have two more chances to move past the hamstring injury and log a full practice prior to Sunday's matchup with the Titans.

  • Dolphins' Jason Sanders: Practice window opens

Sanders (hip) had his 21-day window opened to return from injured reserve Wednesday, Alain Poupart of SI.com reports.

Sanders has been sidelined for the entirety of the regular season to this point while nursing a hip injury he suffered in August. He will now have a 21-day practice window opened, and he's eligible to be added to the active roster at any point in that time frame. Riley Patterson has operated as Miami's starting kicker so far this year, going 24-for-26 on field-goal attempts, including 2-for-3 from 50-plus yards, so there's no guarantee that the Dolphins activate Sanders this season.

  • Joseph Ossai DE | NYJ

Bengals' Joseph Ossai: Tending to ankle injury

Ossai (ankle) did not participate at practice Wednesday, Paul Dehner Jr. of The Athletic reports.

Ossai picked up a shin issue back in Week 14 at Buffalo, but it's not clear if his current status is related or if there's a new problem. Either way, he'll probably have to get back on the practice field Thursday or Friday to have a shot to play in Week 16 at Miami.

  • Charlie Jones WR | CIN

Bengals' Charlie Jones: Doesn't practice Wednesday

Jones (ankle) did not participate at practice Wednesday, Paul Dehner Jr. of The Athletic reports.

Jones was knocked out of Sunday's game versus the Ravens in the second quarter by an ankle injury, and now his status for Week 16 is up in the air. He'll likely need to practice in some capacity Thursday or Friday to have an opportunity to suit up Sunday at Miami.
