  • Rams' Terrance Ferguson: Lands on injured reserve

The Rams placed Ferguson (ankle) on injured reserve Friday.

Ferguson underwent X-rays on an ankle injury during this past Sunday's loss at Denver, and while he was able to return to the contest, he then didn't practice in any capacity Wednesday through Friday before being ruled out for Week 4 action. With Ferguson out for at least the next four games and Colby Parkinson (shoulder) questionable for Sunday's road matchup with the Eagles, Davis Allen, Tyler Higbee and rookie second-round pick Max Klare are the current healthy TEs on L.A.'s active roster.

  • Patriots' Reggie Gilliam: Questionable for Week 4

Gilliam (knee) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against Buffalo, Phil Perry of NBC Sports Boston reports.

Gilliam has been working through a knee injury the past couple of weeks, but he's drawn the questionable tag for Week 4 after fading such a designation for Week 3 against the Jaguars. He's contributed on special teams and has worked mostly as a blocker on offense, so if Gilliam is not cleared to play against the Bills, then the Patriots may turn to tight ends like Cameron Latu or Eli Raridon (thigh) to block out of the backfield.

  • Eli Raridon TE | NE

Patriots' Eli Raridon: Chance to return for Week 4

Raridon (thigh) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Bills, Phil Perry of NBC Sports Boston reports.

Raridon was a limited participant in all three practices during Week 4 prep, which was enough for the rookie third-rounder to draw the questionable tag for Sunday's AFC East showdown. If Raridon is cleared to play, then he would slot behind Hunter Henry on the tight end depth chart ahead of Cameron Latu and Tanner Arkin.

  • Cam Lewis CB | CHI

Bears' Cam Lewis: Unlikely to play Week 4

Lewis (leg) is listed as doubtful for Sunday's game against the Jets.

Lewis opened Week 4 prep with back-to-back limited practices before not practicing Friday. The DNP indicates that he experienced a setback in his recovery from a leg injury that he sustained during the Bears' Week 3 win over the Eagles. Malik Muhammad is poised to take on a larger role defensively in the likely event that Lewis is not cleared to play Sunday.

  • Raiders' Dont'e Thornton: Could return to practice ahead of Week 5

Head coach Klint Kubiak said Friday that the hope is that Thornton (undisclosed) will be back at practice for practice ahead of the Raiders' Week 5 road tilt against the Patriots, Levi Edwards of the Raiders' official site reports.

Thornton opened the season on injured reserve due to an undisclosed injury that prevented him from participating in the majority of August practices during training camp. Once he's cleared to return, Thornton will likely operate in a depth role at wide receiver behind Tre Tucker, Jalen Nailor and Cody White.

  • Chiefs' L'Jarius Sneed: Cleared to play against Las Vegas

Sneed (knee) does not carry an injury designation into Sunday's game against the Raiders.

Sneed logged an LP-LP-FP practice log during Week 4 prep, which was enough for the veteran defensive back to shed an injury designation ahead of Sunday's AFC West game in what is also a battle between undefeated teams. Sneed has 18 tackles (12 solo), one pass defense, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery through the first three games of the regular season.

  • George Holani RB | SEA

Seahawks' George Holani: Cleared to play, Price ruled out

Holani (rib) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Chargers, while teammate Jadarian Price (chest) has been ruled out.

Holani still figures to get most of his playing time on passing downs but could take on more carries in the absence of Price. The Seahawks also have Jacardia Wright and Velus Jones as backfield options on the practice squad, so Emanuel Wilson and Holani won't automatically get all of the snaps.

  • Raiders' Hezekiah Masses: Competing with Porter for starting job

Head coach Klint Kubiak told reporters Friday that he views both Masses and Darien Porter as viable starters at outside cornerback opposite Eric Stokes, Sam Warren of The Athletic reports.

Masses stepped into a larger role defensively in Week 2 against the Dolphins, as Porter sat out of that game due to a foot injury. Masses answered the call by picking off Malik Willis twice, and the former added another interception during the Raiders' Week 3 win over the Saints. Masses played every single defensive snap against New Orleans while Porter was limited to work on special teams, but the duo could share the field more defensively moving forward. The Raiders face the Chiefs on Sunday in a battle of 3-0 teams.

  • Raiders' Darien Porter: Still has confidence of HC

Head coach Klint Kubiak expressed confidence Friday in the play of Porter, the latter of whom didn't play a single defensive snap during the Raiders' Week 3 win over the Saints, Sam Warren of The Athletic reports.

Porter did not play against the Chargers in Week 2 due to a foot injury, and since then, the Raiders have started rookie fifth-rounder Hezekiah Masses at outside corner opposite Eric Stokes. Kubiak noted that both Porter and Masses are starter-level players, and while Porter was limited to special teams work in Week 3, he could be more involved defensively Sunday against the Chiefs.

  • Rams' Terrance Ferguson: Placed on injured reserve
