Lewis (leg) did not participate in Sunday's practice, Brad Biggs of the Chicago Tribune reports.

Lewis was carted off the field Saturday with a leg issue, but Coach Dennis Allen said the cornerback's injury is not likely to sideline him for too long. This means Lewis probably avoided a severe injury and will just need to rehab whatever part of his leg is causing the issue.

Lewis (calf) should see some preseason work against the Bills on Saturday, Steve Reed of the Associated Press reports.

Lewis has been dealing with a calf injury since late July and is set to receive some snaps in Saturday's preseason opener. The starting left guard is adjusting to the issue, and game-situation snaps are likely the next step in his regular-season preparation.

Radunz (knee) tore his ACL during Saturday's practice, Nick Underhill of NewOrleans.Football reports.

Radunz signed a two-year deal with the Saints in March and will now miss year one of that contract. The left guard was one of the top reserve options for the team, so he will likely get surgery as soon as possible to begin preparing for the 2027 season.

Hill (undisclosed) was practicing with the rehab team in helmet and pads Sunday, Kelsey Conway of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.

Hill's return to helmet and pads may mean he is on the cusp of being cleared to return from the active/PUP list. The defensive tackle has been absent with an unknown injury since late July, and a return to padded practice is a good sign as to where he is in his recovery.

The Panthers waived/injured Hampton (undisclosed) on Sunday, Kassidy Hill of the team's official site reports.

Hampton will likely clear waivers and revert to the Panthers' injured reserve. If he is not waived with an injury settlement, he is set to spend the entirety of the 2026 season on IR.

The Packers signed Johnson to a contract Sunday.

Johnson signed onto the Packers' practice squad in January, but did not sign a reserve/future deal with the franchise. The wide receiver has now made his way back to Green Bay to help with depth, with Jayden Reed (ankle) and Matthew Golden (toe) currently absent due to injury. Johnson is a good candidate to end up on the practice squad once again come September if he is waived by the team before or on cut-down day.

Bullard (hamstring) worked with the rehab group Sunday, Nick Harris of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports.

Bullard has been working with the rehab group since developing hamstring soreness last Tuesday. The team does not seem to view the injury as a large concern and is letting the defensive end take his time to work through the issue. Bullard's absence has allowed other depth members of the Cowboys' defensive line to see increased reps, such as Tommy Dunn and Kelvin Gilliam.

Bullard (undisclosed) exited Sunday's practice early and was talking with trainers, Matt Schneidman of The Athletic reports.

It is unclear what type of issue caused Bullard to leave the field. Kitan Oladapo took over as the slot cornerback for the first team when Bullard left and will presumably fill the role if the starter must miss time. Rookie second-round pick Brandon Cisse may also get a shot at the slot cornerback or third safety role if Bullard must take a prolonged absence.

Valdes-Scantling (undisclosed) did not participate in Sunday's practice, Calvin Watkins of The Dallas Morning News reports.

Valdes-Scantling was working off to the side individually Sunday after suffering an injury in Saturday's session. The wide receiver should be back to full practice shortly. The 31-year-old veteran seems set to be a depth receiver for the Cowboys as the team rolls out CeeDee Lamb, George Pickens, Ryan Flournoy and KaVontae Turpin as the starting four options.

The Colts signed Montgomery to a contract Sunday.

Montgomery was not tendered by the Colts in early March but has found his way back to the team. Fellow wide receiver Liam Clifford was waived in a corresponding move to make room for the familiar face. The team is trying out a variety of players at the position as Alec Pierce (ankle), Josh Downs (groin) and Laquon Treadwell (hamstring) remain injured.
