Bisontis tore his MCL during Thursday night's preseason game against the Raiders, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

The rookie second-rounder was potentially ready to usurp Isaiah Adams for the starting right guard job. Bisontis will have surgery next week and may miss his entire rookie season as he recovers from the injury. While there is a chance for the 22-year-old to return before the end of the season, the Cardinals' offensive line will have to operate without him for the majority of the 2026 campaign, at minimum.

Hutchins logged two tackles (one solo) over 37 total snaps in Thursday night's preseason opener against the Colts.

Hutchins played 45 percent of the defensive snaps, looking to move up the depth chart just enough to make the Patriots' 53-man roster. The rookie seventh-rounder has shown promise and could see some regular-season depth reps depending on the severity of Harold Landry's (undisclosed) injury.

Harrell (knee) exited Thursday night's preseason opener against the 49ers early and did not return to the game, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.

Harrell suffered a knee injury during the contest. It is unclear how much time the defensive end will miss due to the issue. The 2024 seventh-rounder is primarily a special-teams player but began to see the field defensively in pass situations as a rotational rusher late in the 2025 season. If Harrell must miss time, Truman Jones may see more opportunities with the Titans' defensive line.

Warren did not play in the Colts' 13-13 tie with the Patriots in Thursday's preseason game.

Warren and several other starters observed Thursday's exhibition contest in street clothes, with Pharaoh Brown and Will Mallory seeing most of the tight-end snaps. Warren is coming off an excellent rookie season and will be a key piece to the Colts' offense alongside running back Jonathan Taylor and wide receiver Alec Pierce (ankle). Warren's involvement in the passing game could expand early on in the season if Pierce is still sidelined.

Multiple teams have checked on Vea's (back) availability, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.

Despite calls from the Bills, Bears, 49ers and more, the Buccaneers remain steadfast that they will not trade Vea. The star nose tackle has expressed his wishes to leave the organization, and with many suitors interested, there is still a chance the organization changes its mind. It appears the team is still trying to organize a new deal with Vea, but it is unclear if talks have progressed at all.

Dowdle did not play in Thursday's 28-9 preseason win over the Packers, Chris Harlan of Triblive.com reports.

Neither Dowdle nor Jaylen Warren suited up for Thursday's game, which saw Lew Nichols and rookie seventh-rounder Eli Heidenreich handle the bulk of the carries. Warren is listed as the Steelers' RB1 on the first unofficial depth chart that was released Aug. 5, but head coach Mike McCarthy wants to balance the workload between Warren and Dowdle, per Brian Batko of the team's official site. Dowdle has rushed for over 1,000 yards in each of his last two seasons, but he saw his usage dip over the last few weeks of the 2025 season while with the Panthers.

Browning (back) will not participate in Friday's preseason opener against the Jets, Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Browning strained his back during Wednesday's joint practice with the Jets. The quarterback is currently the primary backup to Baker Mayfield, so any injury will likely shut him down for an extended period of the preseason until it is deemed completely safe for him to return. In Browning's absence, Connor Bazelak and Jalon Daniels will split reps at quarterback as they compete for the No. 3 role.

Mariota left the first quarter of Friday's preseason game against the Dolphins due to an apparent right knee injury, Nicki Jhabvala of The Washington Post reports.

Mariota may have picked up the injury when he was hit by Tyrel Dodson right after a pass to Dyami Brown. Mariota initially stayed in but was favoring his right leg after handing the ball off to Kaytron Allen, and the veteran quarterback has gone to the locker room to undergo further tests, per Jhabvala. Sam Hartman has taken over as the Commanders' quarterback following Mariota's departure.

Hobbs (groin) is projected to miss a few weeks due to injury, Matt Maiocco of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.

Hobbs suffered a groin injury during a joint practice with the Titans, but the issue should not persist past the preseason. With fellow cornerback Jack Jones (hand) leaving Thursday night's preseason game against the Titans due to injury, Darrell Luter and Ephesians Prysock are set to see some snaps at cornerback during the remainder of the preseason.

Ouzts' neck injury is likely not a career-threatening issue, Corbin K. Smith of SI.com reports.

The Seahawks feel that placing Ouzts on season-ending injured reserve will help the fullback's career long-term. Neck injuries are notoriously tricky, and the organization does not want to make any mistakes that might cost the 23-year-old his career or his health after football. The team will re-evaluate the 2025 fifth-rounder's playing potential during the 2027 offseason.
