  • Saints' Juwan Johnson: Eight catches in Week 16 win

Johnson caught eight of nine targets for 89 yards in Sunday's 29-6 win over the Jets.

Johnson tied his season high for receptions and came three receiving yards shy of his season high as Tyler Shough threw for a career-high 308 yards. This was the sixth consecutive game with at least four receptions for Johnson, who has emerged as a steady contributor in a Saints passing game that lacks appealing healthy alternatives behind Chris Olave. Johnson will look to keep building momentum in Week 17 against the Titans.

  • Chargers' Omarion Hampton: Significant workload in win

Hampton carried the ball 16 times for 85 yards and a touchdown in the 34-17 win over the Cowboys on Sunday. He also recorded one reception for 10 yards.

Hampton got a significant workload after Kimani Vidal left the contest due to a neck injury. Head coach Jim Harbaugh declined to give an update on the status of Vidal, but if he's out next Sunday, Hampton could see another game with significant volume as the Chargers attempt to limit a fearsome Houston pass rush come Week 17. The rookie has double-digit carries in each of the past three weeks since returning from a long-term ankle injury, but he could see a bump in targets too given Hampton had 17 receptions early in the season before the emergence of Vidal.

  • Brandin Echols CB | PIT

Steelers' Brandin Echols: Doubtful to return

Echols (groin) is doubtful to return to Sunday's matchup against the Lions, Burt Lauten of Pittsburgh's official site reports.

Echols is likely done for the day after sustaining a groin injury in the first half of the game. Asante Samuel should see increased playing time if Echols is unable to return versus Detroit.

  • Cowboys' Javonte Williams: Bottled up by Bolts

Williams carried the ball nine times for 34 yards and caught two of three targets for nine yards in Sunday's 34-17 loss to the Chargers.

The 43 scrimmage yards represented his second-lowest output of the season, ahead of only the 34 yards he eked out against the Panthers in Week 6. Williams has already put together the best season of his career with 1,147 yards and 10 TDs on the ground and a 35-137-2 line on 49 targets through the air, and he'll look to add to those totals in Week 17 against the Commanders.

  • Dak Prescott QB | DAL

Cowboys' Dak Prescott: Can't maintain quick start in loss

Prescott completed 21 of 30 passes for 244 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's 34-17 loss to the Chargers. He added 14 rushing yards on two carries.

The veteran quarterback led the Cowboys to points on their first three drives, hitting Ryan Flournoy (knee) for a TD in the first quarter and finding George Pickens for a 38-yard score in the second, but the Chargers defense shut him down the rest of the way. With Dallas already eliminated from the playoffs, Joe Milton took over at QB for the team's final two possessions, and he could sub in for Prescott more frequently over the final two weeks. Prescott will still take a strong 28:10 TD:INT on the season into a Week 17 clash with the Commanders.

  • Bucky Irving RB | TB

Buccaneers' Bucky Irving: Eclipses 70-yard mark in loss

Irving rushed 19 times for 71 yards and wasn't targeted in the Buccaneers' 23-20 loss to the Panthers on Sunday.

Irving easily led the Buccaneers' ground attack in rush attempts and rushing yardage, but he had a long run of just 12 yards and didn't draw a single target for the first time all season. While Irving's rushing yardage tally did match his season high, he also saw Sean Tucker vulture another goal-line opportunity that the latter successfully converted into a touchdown. Irving will aim to exploit a vulnerable Dolphins run defense in a Week 17 road matchup next Sunday.

  • Panthers' Tetairoa McMillan: Paces pass catchers, scores TD

McMillan brought in six of 10 targets for 73 yards and a touchdown in the Panthers' 23-20 win over the Buccaneers on Sunday.

McMillan finished with team-high figures in receptions, receiving yards and targets on the afternoon, and he delivered the seventh touchdown catch of his career on a 22-yard grab just before halftime. The rookie first-round pick's catch and yardage totals were both McMillan's best over the last four games, and he'll next take on the daunting challenge of the Seahawks' secondary in a Week 17 home matchup next Sunday.

  • Taysom Hill QB | NO

Saints' Taysom Hill: Lead runner in Week 16 win

Hill rushed 12 times for 42 yards, caught four of six targets for 36 yards and threw a 38-yard touchdown pass in Sunday's 29-6 win over the Jets. He also lost a fumble.

Hill became the first player in the Super Bowl era to reach 1,000 career yards each in passing, rushing and receiving, as he raised his career total for receiving yards to 1,002. The versatile veteran worked as the Saints' primary runner in the absence of Alvin Kamara (knee/ankle) and Devin Neal (hamstring), as Audric Estime and Evan Hull logged five carries apiece. The cherry on top of Hill's history-making performance was a touchdown pass to Chris Olave in the fourth quarter. Unless Kamara returns from a four-game absence in Week 17 against the Titans, Hill will likely continue to lead the New Orleans backfield.

  • Broncos' Delarrin Turner-Yell: Suffers knee injury vs. Jaguars

Turner-Yell (knee) is questionable to return to Sunday's game against the Jaguars, Parker Gabriel of The Denver Post reports.

Turner-Yell's status for the remainder of the matchup is now uncertain after he sustained a knee injury in the first half. This was the 26-year-old's first appearance of the season before he suffered the injury.

  • Buccaneers' Baker Mayfield: Comes up short in low-volume day

Mayfield completed 18 of 26 passes for 145 yards with a touchdown and an interception while rushing four times for 49 yards in the Buccaneers' 23-20 loss to the Panthers on Sunday.

The Buccaneers went with an extremely run-heavy approach in the first half, and although Mayfield was a lot busier in the second half thanks to game script, he still finished with his third sub-200-yard tally in the last four games. Mayfield also tossed a pick for the third consecutive contest, with Sunday's interception -- an apparent miscommunication with Mike Evans -- coming at the Panthers' 30 with 49 seconds remaining and Tampa Bay driving for a game-tying field-goal attempt, at minimum. Despite the stumble, Mayfield can still lead the Bucs to another NFC South title with a win over the Dolphins in Week 17 and a victory against Carolina at home in the regular-season finale a week later.
