  • Chuck Clark DB | PIT

Steelers' Chuck Clark: Deemed questionable due to illness

Clark (illness) is questionable to face the Colts on Sunday, Mike DeFabo of The Athletic reports.

Clark came down with an illness and didn't practice Friday. He'll have two days to recover enough to suit up against Indianapolis. Clark logged an 87 percent defensive snap share against Green Bay last Sunday and tallied five tackles (three solo).

  • Steelers' Jabrill Peppers: Won't play Week 9

Peppers (quadriceps) has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's game against the Colts, Brooke Pryor of ESPN.com reports.

Peppers suffered a quad injury during the week and was limited in practice Thursday before being unable to practice at all Friday. The Steelers' secondary will be missing several players, as DeShon Elliott (knee) landed on injured reserve earlier in the week, while Chuck Clark (illness) is questionable.

  • Giants' Jermaine Eluemunor: Unlikely for Week 9

Eluemunor (pectoral) is considered doubtful ahead of Sunday's game against the 49ers, Ralph Vacchiano of Fox Sports reports.

Eluemunor popped up on the injury report to begin the week and was unable to practice at all. That suggests he'll be unable to suit up, though he's yet to be ruled out officially.

  • Giants' Chauncey Golston: Absent again

Golston (neck) has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's game against the 49ers, Ralph Vacchiano of Fox Sports reports.

Golston was unable to practice in any capacity during the week and will be in line to miss his third consecutive contest. His absence primarily leaves a hole in the Giants' special teams unit.

  • Storm Norton OT | ATL

Falcons' Storm Norton: Not yet ready for 2025 debut

Norton (foot) has been ruled out for Sunday's Week 9 matchup versus the Patriots, Marc Raimondi of ESPN.com reports.

Norton underwent ankle surgery in late August and has been on injured reserve all season. He was designated to return Oct. 22 and logged two full practices to begin this week before being a non-participant Friday. The Falcons will need to activate him off IR by Nov. 12 or he'll be forced to miss the remainder of the campaign.

  • Titans' Darrell Baker: Clears concussion protocol

Baker (concussion) does not carry an injury designation into Sunday's game against the Chargers.

Baker was a full participant in each of the last two practices of the week, and his lack of an injury designation indicates that he has cleared the league's five-step concussion protocol ahead of Sunday's game. Baker should have a larger role in the Titans' secondary following Roger McCreary's trade to the Rams on Monday.

  • Brian O'Neill OT | MIN

Vikings' Brian O'Neill: Iffy for Week 9

O'Neill (knee) is listed as questionable questionable ahead of Sunday's game against the Lions.

O'Neill was out for Minnesota's Week 8 loss to the Chargers and has been dealing with a knee sprain since Week 4. He turned in a pair of limited practices to begin the current week and a full session Friday, leading coach Kevin O'Connell to express optimism that O'Neill will return in Week 9 for a pivotal divisional matchup, per Kevin Seifert of ESPN.com.

  • Jake Matthews OT | ATL

Falcons' Jake Matthews: Good to go for Week 9

Matthews (ankle) does not have an injury designation for Sunday's matchup against New England, Marc Raimondi of ESPN.com reports.

Matthews has been dealing with an ankle injury since Week 6, but it hasn't yet caused him to miss any contests. Despite finishing this week with a pair of limited practices, he's set to serve in his usual role as Atlanta's starting left tackle Sunday.

  • 49ers' Jordan Elliott: Not traveling with team

Elliott (ankle), who is questionable for Sunday's matchup against the Giants, is not traveling with the 49ers to New York on Friday due to personal reasons, Vic Tafur of The Athletic reports.

Elliott didn't practice Friday after logging a pair of limited practices to begin the week, though it's not clear if his absence Friday was due to the personal issue. He remains questionable for Sunday's contest, so he could join the team sometime before that matchup. If Elliott is unable to play, Kevin Givens or Alfred Collins could draw a start.

  • Vikings' Christian Darrisaw: Questionable to face Lions

Darrisaw (knee) is listed as questionable ahead of Sunday's game against the Lions.

Darrisaw aggravated a knee injury in Minnesota's Week 8 loss to the Chargers. He closed the week with a limited practice and turned in a full session Wednesday. Coach Kevin O'Connell expressed optimism that Darrisaw would be available for the key divisional showdown Sunday, per Kevin Seifert of ESPN.com.
