  • Charles Cross OT | SEA

Seahawks' Charles Cross: Still tending to foot issue

Cross (foot) was estimated as a limited practice participant on the Seahawks' injury report Wednesday, Michael-Shawn Dugar of The Athletic reports.

Cross was able to play through the problem with his foot in the NFC Championship Game, but he's apparently still not at full strength as Seattle starts its preparations for the Super Bowl. His direct backups at left tackle aren't at 100 percent either -- Josh Jones (ankle) was also estimated as a limited participant Wednesday, while Amari Kight (knee) was estimated as a non-participant.

  • Julian Love SAF | SEA

Seahawks' Julian Love: Dealing with shoulder issue

Love (shoulder) was estimated as a limited practice participant on the Seahawks' injury report Wednesday, Michael-Shawn Dugar of The Athletic reports.

Love played 61 defensive snaps in the NFC Championship Game, collecting four tackles (three solo), but it looks like he also might have suffered a shoulder injury along the way. His activity will be worth monitoring once Seattle starts holding practices to prepare for the Super Bowl.

  • Drake Thomas LB | SEA

Seahawks' Drake Thomas: Still nursing shoulder issue

Thomas (shoulder) was estimated as a limited practice participant on the Seahawks' injury report Wednesday, Michael-Shawn Dugar of The Athletic reports.

Thomas' shoulder was banged up during the final two minutes of the NFC Championship Game, and the injury is still bugging him as Seattle begins prepping for the Super Bowl. With fellow starting linebacker Ernest Jones dealing with a chest injury, Thomas' health could be crucial against a run-first Patriots offense.

  • Ernest Jones LB | SEA

Seahawks' Ernest Jones: Tending to chest injury

Jones (chest) was estimated as a non-participant at practice on the Seahawks' injury report Wednesday, Michael-Shawn Dugar of The Athletic reports.

Jones played 61 defensive snaps and led Seattle in tackles (eight) in the NFC Championship Game, but it looks like he might also have hurt his chest in that game. His status will be watched closely once the Seahawks start holding practices to prepare for the Super Bowl.

  • Patriots' Harold Landry: Still dealing with knee injury

Landry (knee) was estimated as a non-participant at practice on the Patriots' injury report Wednesday.

Landry wasn't able to suit up for the AFC Championship Game due to a nagging knee injury, and now his status for the Super Bowl is up in the air. Whether he'll be available will largely depend on how many reps he can handle once New England starts holding practices to prepare.

  • Patriots' Robert Spillane: Still nursing ankle injury

Spillane (ankle) was estimated as a non-participant at practice on the Patriots' injury report Wednesday.

Spillane hurt his ankle during the first quarter of the AFC Championship Game and played just 13 defensive snaps, and now his availability for the Super Bowl is in doubt. His participation will be worth monitoring once New England starts holding practices.

  • Patriots' Terrell Jennings: Still on IR for now

Jennings (concussion) was estimated as a full practice participant on the Patriots' injury report Wednesday.

Jennings has been clear of concussion protocol for a week now, but he was kept on injured reserve for the AFC Championship Game at Denver to save a roster spot. With Rhamondre Stevenson and rookie second-rounder TreVeyon Henderson both still healthy, there's no guarantee New England will activate Jennings for the Super Bowl.

  • Mack Hollins WR | NE

Patriots' Mack Hollins: Tending to abdomen issue

Hollins (abdomen) was estimated as a limited practice participant on the Patriots' injury report Wednesday.

Hollins was able to play through his lingering abdomen injury in the AFC Championship at Denver, catching both of his two targets for 51 yards. However, the issue is apparently still bothering him as New England begins its preparations for the Super Bowl. His level of activity once the Patriots actually start holding practices will be worth keeping an eye on as Super Bowl LX approaches.

  • Bo Nix QB | DEN

Broncos' Bo Nix: To be back on field in 4-to-6 weeks

Nix said Wednesday that he'll begin training again in about 4-to-6 weeks after undergoing surgery on a "simple bone break" in his right ankle last Tuesday, Parker Gabriel of The Denver Post reports.

That's not to say Nix won't require 12 weeks to recover fully, as reported by Adam Schefter of ESPN on Sunday, but the second-year quarterback will resume on-field work about when he normally would in the offseason after his season ended when he suffered the injury near the end of the Broncos' divisional-round overtime win against the Bills. Nix racked up 3,931 passing yards, 356 more yards on the ground and 30 total touchdowns (25 through the air, five rushing) in 17 regular-season games in 2025, so he'll remain a steady option for fantasy purposes in the upcoming campaign once he's healthy.

  • Sam Darnold QB | SEA

Seahawks' Sam Darnold: Listed as limited Wednesday

Darnold (oblique) was listed as limited on Wednesday's practice estimate, Michael-Shawn Dugar of The Athletic reports.

Since injuring his left oblique in practice ahead of the Seahawks' divisional-round game against the 49ers, Darnold has operated with practice restrictions but suited up for both of the team's playoff contests, completing 37 of 53 passes (69.8 percent) for 470 yards, four touchdowns and no interceptions in the process. After Sunday's victory over the Rams in the NFC Championship Game, coach Mike Macdonald told Brady Henderson of ESPN.com on Monday that Darnold was dealing with some soreness, but the oblique issue remains "nothing major." Darnold will have a week and a half to get as healthy as possible ahead of Super Bowl LX versus the Patriots on Sunday, Feb. 8.
