  • Cameron Mitchell: Entering free agency

Mitchell (calf) will be an unrestricted free agent after he was not tendered by the Texans on Wednesday, per the NFL transaction report.

Mitchell suited up for the Browns for the team's first two games of the 2025 regular season before being let go in late September. He caught on with the Colts in November and appeared in 10 regular-season games for Indianapolis, finishing with 18 tackles (14 solo) and four pass defenses. Mitchell served in a rotational role in the Colts secondary before he suffered a calf injury against the Texans in Week 18. The 2023 fifth-rounder should garner interest from teams looking to add depth in the secondary.

  • Keaontay Ingram: No tender offer from Kansas City

Ingram (undisclosed) will be an unrestricted free agent after he was not tendered by the Chiefs on Wednesday.

Ingram was set to compete for a spot on the Chiefs' 53-man roster last season after he inked a reserve/future contract with Kansas City in February 2025. However, he was waived by the team last May with an injury designation due to an undisclosed issue, which led to him reverting to the Chiefs' injured reserve after clearing waivers. Now that he's an unrestricted free agent, Ingram will look to catch on with a team in need of backfield depth.

  • Solomon Thomas DE | TEN

Titans' Solomon Thomas: Dealt to Tennessee

The Titans acquired Thomas and a 2026 seventh-round pick from the Cowboys in exchange for a 2026 seventh-round pick, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

The teams are swapping picks in the seventh round, and the Titans are taking on Thomas' contract, as he's set to earn a $2 million salary in 2026. With the Cowboys switching defensive schemes under new DC Christian Parker, Thomas reunites with new Titans coach Robert Saleh after the two spent time together with the 49ers and Jets.

  • Joshua Cephus WR | JAC

Joshua Cephus: Free agent after non-tender

The Jaguars did not tender Cephus (undisclosed) on Wednesday.

As such, Cephus now will be an unrestricted free agent. He did not appear in a regular-season game in 2025 due to an undisclosed injury that caused him to be placed on IR in late August. Cephus will look to join a team in need of wide receiver depth.

  • 49ers' Osa Odighizuwa: Shipped to San Francisco in trade

The 49ers acquired Odighizuwa (elbow) from the Cowboys in exchange for a 2026 third-round pick Wednesday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

According to Todd Archer of ESPN.com, Odighizuwa had offseason surgery on his elbow, termed a clean-up procedure, that is not expected to affect his availability for the offseason program. A third-round pick in the 2021 Draft, Odighizuwa signed a new four-year, $80 million deal with Dallas last offseason. He appeared in all 17 regular-season games, making 13 starts, and has missed just one contest throughout his five-year career. During the 2025 campaign, Odighizuwa posted 44 tackles (16 solo), including 3.5 sacks, and he gives the Niners a needed boost to their defensive line.

  • D.J. Montgomery: Not tendered by Indianapolis

The Colts did not tender Montgomery (undisclosed) on Wednesday.

As such, Montgomery now will be an unrestricted free agent. The Austin Peay product missed the entire 2025 season while on injured reserve due to an undisclosed issue. Montgomery last saw regular-season action in 2023 with the Colts, when he appeared in seven games and finished with three catches (on eight targets) for 56 yards and one touchdown.

  • Tyler Goodson RB | ATL

Tyler Goodson: Not tendered by Indy

The Colts did not tender Goodson as a restricted free agent Wednesday.

  • Ben Sims TE | MIA

Dolphins' Ben Sims: Gets one-year deal with Miami

Sims and the Dolphins agreed to terms Wednesday on a one-year contract, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.

Sims was on the Packers' active roster at the start of the 2025 campaign. He was waived by Green Bay in late October but opted to stay in the NFC North and signed with Minnesota, and he finished with three catches (on six targets) for 30 yards across eight regular-season games for the Vikings. Sims currently projects to serve as the Dolphins' TE2 behind Greg Dulcich, with the former also likely to contribute on special teams.

  • Jaquelin Roy DT | NE

    Jaquelin Roy: Hits free agency

The Patriots did not extend a restricted free-agent tender to Roy (undisclosed) by Wednesday's deadline, making him a free agent, Mark Daniels of MassLive.com reports.

Roy missed the entire 2025 season due to an undisclosed injury but is now presumably healthy and ready to search for a new landing spot in the NFL. He logged six regular-season appearances (one start) with New England in 2024, totaling 17 tackles (12 solo), including 2.0 sacks, in that span.

  • Alex Austin CB | MIA

Dolphins' Alex Austin: Inks deal with Miami

Austin and the Dolphins agreed to terms on a one-year contract Wednesday, NFL reporter Jordan Schultz reports.

Austin mostly served on special teams for the Patriots during the 2025 regular season, finishing with 13 tackles (10 solo) and one pass defense across 12 games. He'll likely reprise that role in Miami while also providing depth in the secondary.
