Randall Cobb WR | NYJ
Packers' Randall Cobb: Pair of scoring grabs in win
Cobb brought in three of five targets for 15 yards and two touchdowns in the Packers' 24-21 win over the Cardinals on Thursday.
The veteran slot man was filling the role of de facto No. 1 receiver for Aaron Rodgers on Thursday, and although he couldn't do much in the yardage department, he delivered for fantasy managers with touchdown grabs of two and six yards in the second half. Cobb hadn't been in the end zone since Week 4, when he'd recorded his first two scores of the campaign versus the Steelers. Cobb now has back-to-back three-catch efforts, but his role could diminish in a Week 9 road battle against the Chiefs a week from Sunday if both Davante Adams and Allen Lazard clear COVID-19 protocols in time for that contest, as expected, and Marquez Valdes-Scantling (hamstring) is activated from injured reserve.

DeAndre Hopkins WR | BAL
Cardinals' DeAndre Hopkins: Finishes with two receptions
Hopkins (hamstring) secured both targets for 66 yards in the Cardinals' 24-21 loss to the Packers on Thursday night. He spent large portions of the game sidelined with a hamstring injury, and Josh Weinfuss of ESPN.com reports the receiver ran back onto the field on his own "a couple times" without the coaching staff's consent as the game went on.
Weinfuss adds that coach Kliff Kingsbury clearly didn't seem pleased with his star receiver risking a potential longer-term injury, and even with Hopkins' attempts to help out his team, the Cardinals still ended up suffering their first loss of the season. Hopkins will now look to get back to health in time for a Week 9 road showdown with the Chiefs a week from Sunday.

DeAndre Hopkins WR | BAL
Cardinals' DeAndre Hopkins: Returns to game
Hopkins (hamstring) returned to Thursday's game against the Packers.
Hopkins had been sidelined for most of the game after apparently aggravating his hamstring injury in the first quarter. However, he returned midway through the third quarter and should provide a big boost to the Cardinals' offense if he can remain on the field for the remainder of the contest.

DeAndre Hopkins WR | BAL
Cardinals' DeAndre Hopkins: Questionable to return
Hopkins aggravated his hamstring injury and is questionable to return to Thursday's game against Green Bay, Kent Somers of The Arizona Republic reports.
Hopkins exited the game midway through the first quarter after making a 51-yard catch. He was seen testing his hamstring on the sideline but has not checked back into the game since his initial exit. Hopkins did not practice at all during the short week, and he now may be forced to miss the rest of Thursday's contest.

David Sills WR | TB
David Sills: Back in New York
Sills signed with the Giants' practice squad Thursday, Dan Benton of Giants Wire reports.
Sills was waived by the Giants on Tuesday but has now returned to the team in a lesser capacity. He was active in Week 7 prior to being cut, though he wasn't able to convert his only target into a reception.

Cam Sims WR | CAR
Football Team's Cam Sims: Returns to limited practice
Sims (hamstring) was a limited practice participant Thursday.
Sims has practiced in limited capacity both Wednesday and Thursday. Those have been his first sessions since exiting the team's Week 4 matchup, so it looks like he could potentially return to the field Sunday against Denver after a three-game absence.
-
Dyami Brown WR | WAS
Football Team's Dyami Brown: Absent from practice again
Brown (knee) did not practice Thursday.
Brown exited Sunday's game with a knee injury and underwent an MRI on Monday. He has missed both practices this week, so his availability appears to be in jeopardy Sunday at Denver.

DK Metcalf WR | PIT
Seahawks' DK Metcalf: Takes seat Thursday
Metcalf (foot) didn't practice Thursday, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports.
Metcalf has received routine maintenance for his foot injury since Week 4, sitting out the second practice both of the past two weeks. If he follows last week's regimen to a T, he'll log a limited session Friday and enter the weekend without a designation for the Seahawks' Week 8 matchup with the Jaguars.

Terrace Marshall Jr. WR | MIA
Panthers' Terrace Marshall: Out again Thursday
Marshall (concussion) remained sidelined at Thursday's practice.
The wide receiver has yet to practice since suffering a concussion in Week 6 against the Vikings. He still has to clear concussion protocol before he can return to game action and appears unlikely to suit up Sunday against the Falcons. If Marshall remains out in Week 8, Keith Kirkwood and Shi Smith will garner more snaps once again.
