Duvernay (foot) has resumed running as he continues to make progress in his recovery from surgery to address a broken fifth metatarsal, Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reports.

Duvernay expressed positivity about his current physical condition, so he appears to be on track to recover before training camp. The wideout suffered a broken fifth metatarsal in his right foot during practice last December. A Pro Bowl return man and a capable slot receiver, Duvernay can look forward to some stability on offense once he's healthy, with Lamar Jackson having been re-signed. Of course, the additions of Odell Beckham and rookie first-round pick Zay Flowers could cap his opportunities.

Moore (groin) participated in voluntary veteran minicamp at the end of April, the Cardinals' official site reports.

Moore underwent surgeries on his core and pinky finger after the Cardinals placed him on injured reserve in mid-December. He's at least 3-to-4 months removed from the procedures at this point and should be ready for the more substantiative portion of the offseason program between mid-May and mid-June. With DeAndre Hopkins and Marquise Brown still on Arizona's roster, Moore seemingly fits in as the No. 3 receiver ahead of his age-23 season. The 2021 second-round pick took on a larger role per-game last year, averaging seven targets in his eight games en route to a 41-141-1 receiving line and 5.5 average depth of target. As a rookie in 2021l, Moore averaged 4.6 targets and 1.3 carries for 36.5 yards per game while seeing 61 percent of his passes behind the line of scrimmage (1.4 aDOT).

Winfree signed with the Colts on a one-year deal Tuesday.

Winfree spent most of last season on Green Bay's practice squad, catching one pass for 17 yards in three games played. The 2019 sixth-round pick will head to Indianapolis and compete for a roster spot.

The Lions waived Berryhill (suspension) on Tuesday.

The NFL suspended Berryhill, along with teammates Jameson Williams, Quintez Cephus and C.J. Moore, at the end of April for violating the league's gambling policy. Williams was the only player from that group to retain a roster spot with Detroit, which isn't surprising given he was a first-round draft pick in 2022. Berryhill appeared in four games for the Lions last year but wasn't targeted across six offensive snaps and was likely headed for another practice-squad role after signing a reserve/future contract this offseason. He was on the fringe of sticking in the NFL already, so his suspension may have cost him a chance to further his professional career.

Smith was Carolina's No. 3 receiver for most of last season but may be only sixth or seventh on the depth chart this spring, Mike Kaye of The Charlotte Observer reports.

Carolina drafted Jonathan Mingo in Round 2 after signing Adam Thielen, DJ Chark and Damiere Byrd in the offseason, with the latter potentially being direct competition for Smith's roster spot given that he has experience returning punts. Smith didn't do much on either offense or special teams while playing all 17 games last year, catching 22 passes on 482 offensive snaps and averaging 6.2 yards on 23 punt returns. The 2021 sixth-round pick now enters his third NFL season with job competition.

Remigio signed with the Chiefs as an undrafted free agent Monday, Matt McMullen of the team's official site reports.

Remigio lacks size but closed out his collegiate career in style by hauling in 74 passes for 852 yards and six touchdowns. He also starred on special teams for Fresno State, as he returned two punts for touchdowns in 2022. He'll undoubtedly bring his experience as a returner to the next level with the hope of cracking the roster.

Chrest was waived by the Colts on Monday.

Chrest will head to waivers after spending less than a week with Indianapolis. The 24-year-old signed as an undrafted free agent but will now look for another opportunity elsewhere.

Hyatt (hamstring) did some drills at rookie minicamp but didn't participate in 7-on-7s, Paul Schwartz of the NY Post reports.

Hyatt hurt his hamstring at the NFL Combine, but only after running a 4.40 40 time and posting a 133-inch broad jump and 40-inch vertical. The rookie third-round pick reportedly is working on gaining weight after checking in at only 176 pounds at the combine, recently noting that he's up to 180 and wants to play at about 190. Hyatt should be cleared for training camp, if not spring practices, and he could challenge Darius Slayton or Isaiah Hodgins for perimeter snaps early on.

Chiefs GM Brett Veach believes Toney has a "vertical game" and can become more than a "gadget guy", ESPN's Adam Teicher reports.

The Chiefs traded for the 2021 first-round pick in late October and put him in a part-time role that included 17 targets (7.3 aDOT), 10 punt returns and five carries in seven regular-season games. The nagging lower-body injuries that limited Toney in New York carried over to Kansas City, but he ultimately had a big hand in the Chiefs' Super Bowl victory with his eight total snaps in the big game including a five-yard TD catch and 65-yard punt return (both in the fourth quarter). He's now one of the top candidates to start at wide receiver for KC in 2023, along with Marquez Valdes-Scantling, Richie James, 2022 second-round pick Skyy Moore and 2023 second-rounder Rashee Rice. While Toney's 4.39 speed has mostly been on display with the ball in his hands to this point in his career, Veach seems to think the third-year wideout can have more of an impact running routes behind defenses and catching deep throws from Patrick Mahomes in 2023.

Jefferson could earn a larger role in 2023, as he's been healthy this offseason and is now the second-most experienced WR on the Rams' roster, Stu Jackson of the team's official website reports.

Jefferson had knee surgeries last spring and again in August, delaying his 2022 debut until Week 8 and leading to limited playing time in his first few games. He then played 46 or more snaps in each of the Rams' final eight contests and averaged 2.6 catches for 42.8 yards and 0.25 TDs on 4.5 targets. The numbers weren't bad given that he mostly played with backup QBs rather than Matthew Stafford, and Jefferson hopes things will go better this year with both him and Stafford healthy after injuries kept them off the practice field last spring/summer. Jefferson enters the final year of his rookie contract as a clear favorite for the No. 2 receiver role behind Cooper Kupp, if only because there's a glaring lack of both talent and experience in the WR room otherwise.
