  • David Bell WR | CLE

Browns' David Bell: Shut out Week 18

Bell did not catch either of his two targets in a 28-14 loss to Pittsburgh in Week 18.

Bell finished the season with just one catch on four targets over the final three weeks. He had thumb and toe injuries down the stretch, missing nearly two full games, which impacted him over the final five games. The rookie slot receiver finished the year with 24 catches, 35 targets and 214 yards. Bell had steady, if minor, production prior to the injury and, like every pass catcher on the team, will wait for Deshaun Watson to return to form the quarterback had prior to a long layoff. If the old Watson is back in 2023, the Browns will likely throw more, and Bell could build off the modest output of his rookie season.

  • Isaiah Coulter WR | BUF

Bills' Isaiah Coulter: Joins up with Buffalo

The Bills signed Coulter to a reserve/future contract Monday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

Coulter landed a deal with the Bills two days after he was cut from the Cardinals' practice squad. However, this new contract is tied to the 2023 regular season, and he will not be able to join the team's active roster until the roster size increases this offseason. Therefore, the 24-year-old wideout will not be able to participate in the Bills' upcoming playoff appearance(s). Coulter has recorded one target over three career games.

  • Javon Wims WR | CAR

Cardinals' Javon Wims: Inks new deal with Arizona

The Cardinals signed Wims to a reserve/future contract Monday, Howard Balzer of GoPHNX.com reports.

Wims signed with the Cardinals' practice squad during Week 2 and was elevated for one game over the course of the season. However, he did not record a statistic during this Week 5 contest, and the 28-year-old now has not logged a target since the 2020 season. Wims will look to secure an active roster spot heading into the 2023 season.

  • DJ Chark WR | ATL

Lions' DJ Chark: Makes game-sealing catch

Chark caught three of four passes for 14 yards during Sunday's 20-16 win over Green Bay.

Chark struggled to get open most of the game outside of the play in which he made the game-sealing catch on 4th-and-1 with just over a minute remaining in regulation. He'll finish out his one-year contract with Detroit having racked up 502 yards and three scores over 11 games. While this isn't the kind of production that will significantly boost his stock entering free agency, Chark performed well in a deep-threat role and caught a career-high three catches of 40-plus yards despite seeing a handful fewer targets than he saw during his productive days in Jacksonville between 2019 and 2020.

  • Cade Johnson WR | SEA

Seahawks' Cade Johnson: Moves back to practice squad

Johnson reverted to the Seahawks' practice squad Monday, per the NFL's transaction log.

Johnson was elevated from the practice squad for the second week in a row ahead of Sunday's regular-season finale win against the Rams. The 5-foot-10 receiver wound up playing the most significant role of his young career, as his 29 offensive snaps ranked third on the team behind DK Metcalf (58) and Tyler Lockett (55) but ahead of Dareke Young (17) and Laquon Treadwell (five). Johnson also finished with Seattle's fourth-most receiving yards (21) while hauling both of his targets Week 18, so he may have earned himself an active roster spot heading into Saturday's wild-card tilt against the 49ers.

  • Buccaneers' Breshad Perriman: One reception to close out season

Perriman brought in one of two targets for nine yards in the Buccaneers' 30-17 loss to the Falcons on Sunday.

Perriman made his first appearance on the stat sheet since Week 9 while seeing his highest allotment of playing time from scrimmage since Week 3 -- 31 snaps. The veteran wideout may not even garner active status in next Monday night's wild-card matchup against the Cowboys if recent history is any indication, however, as he was left off the gameday roster in four of the last six regular-season contests.

  • Ihmir Smith-Marsette: Returns to practice squad

Smith-Marsette reverted to the Chiefs' practice squad Monday, per the NFL's transaction log.

Smith-Marsette was elevated from the Chiefs' practice squad for the second time this season ahead of Saturday's regular-season finale against Las Vegas. The second-year wideout served as the team's No. 5 wideout with Mecole Hardman (pelvis) and Skyy Moore (hand) both inactive against the Raiders. However, Smith-Marsette did not record a target while playing nine of his 10 snaps on offense, and he has not recorded a target since joining up with Kansas City.

  • Keke Coutee WR | MIA

Keke Coutee: Bumps back down to practice squad

Coutee reverted to Indianapolis' practice squad Monday, per the NFL's transaction log.

Coutee was elevated from the Colts' practice squad for the third time this season and the second week in a row ahead of Sunday's regular-season finale against Houston. The veteran wideout ultimately served as the team's primary punt returner over four special-teams snaps Week 18. Coutee returned two punts for 13 yards -- one of which was muffed but quickly recovered by Indianapolis. Over eight games in 2022, Coutee recorded one catch while playing two offensive snaps.

  • Johnny Johnson: Back to practice squad Monday

Johnson reverted to the Texans' practice squad Monday, per the NFL's transaction log.

Johnson was elevated for his NFL debut ahead of Sunday's win over the Colts. The undrafted rookie out of Oregon wound up playing nine offensive snaps, though he did not log a target while serving as the team's No. 4 wideout. Johnson will now look to secure a new contract with Houston or elsewhere heading into the offseason.

  • Elijah Moore WR | PHI

Jets' Elijah Moore: Has disappointing sophomore season

Moore caught his only target for 11 yards in Sunday's 11-6 loss to the Dolphins. He finished the season with 37 catches on 65 targets for 446 yards and one touchdown.

Moore was expected to take a step forward after racking up 538 yards and five touchdowns in just 11 games as a rookie. Instead, he regressed in every facet except availability. His only absence came Week 7, when Moore was sent home after requesting a trade. The second-round pick from the 2021 NFL Draft returned the following week and remains in the Jets' plans moving forward. An upgrade under center could revitalize Moore's career, but he's well behind 2022 first-round pick Garrett Wilson in the team's wide receiver pecking order.
