  • Quez Watkins WR | PHI

Eagles' Quez Watkins: Still valued by Eagles

Speaking Thursday, Eagles GM Howie Roseman said "nobody in this building is down on" Watkins following Philadelphia's signing of Olamide Zaccheaus, according to Dave Zangaro of NBC Sports Philadelphia.

As the Eagles' third receiver last season, Watkins averaged 1.9 catches for 20.8 yards per game, scoring three touchdowns in 17 games of action. Watkins' 10.7 yards per catch was also well off his 15.1 and 15.0 marks during his first two years. Zaccheaus posted a 40-533-3 line in Atlanta last year and will compete with Watkins for No. 3 duties behind A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith.

  • Rashod Bateman WR | BAL

    Ravens' Rashod Bateman: Resumes running

Bateman (foot) recently resumed running, Jonas Shaffer of TheBaltimoreBanner.com reports.

Ravens coach John Harbaugh said March 27 that Bateman was doing well and would be ready to resume running in three weeks. The wide receiver confirmed he met that prediction in an Instagram post Wednesday, which seemingly keeps him on track to meet Harbaugh's expectation of being "healthier than ever" by the time the season starts. Bateman does figure to be absent or limited throughout the offseason program as the team slowly brings him back from last year's season-ending Lisfranc surgery in November. The 2021 first-rounder enters his third season with bit more competition for targets after the Ravens signed Odell Beckham Jr., though there may also be more passes to go around with Todd Monken replacing Greg Roman as offensive coordinator. The biggest question, of course, is whether Bateman and Beckham end up catching passes from Lamar Jackson or another quarterback, as Jackson still hasn't signed his franchise tag and requested a trade back in March.

  • Michael Jefferson: Slated to miss rookie season

Jefferson, who was involved in a multi-car crash April 9, was released from the hospital Wednesday and is expected to miss the 2023 season while rehabbing from multiple surgeries, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Jefferson, a 23-year-old wide receiver who played collegiately at Louisiana, was seen a potential Day 3 pick in the 2023 NFL Draft before he was struck by a suspected drunk driver in Mobile, Ala. While the exact nature of the injuries Jefferson sustained in the car crash remain unclear, medical professionals have optimism that the wideout should be available to resume his playing career in the 2024 season, per Schefter. The 6-foot-4, 199-pound Jefferson caught 51 passes for 810 yards and seven touchdowns across 12 games during his final season with the Ragin' Cajuns.

  • Eagles' Olamide Zaccheaus: Joining Philadelphia

Zaccheaus agreed to a contract with the Eagles on Wednesday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

In 17 games with the Falcons in 2022, Zaccheaus recorded a career-high 40 catches for 533 yards and three touchdowns. With Philadelphia, the 25-year-old will likely be competing with Quez Watkins for the No. 3 receiver role behind the Eagles' clear-cut top two wideouts, A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith.

  • Allen Robinson WR | DET

Steelers' Allen Robinson: Passes physical to complete trade

Robinson (foot) passed his physical with the Steelers on Wednesday, making his acquisition from the Rams official, Dianna Russini of ESPN reports.

Per Brooke Pryor of ESPN.com, the Steelers are sending a seventh-round draft pick (No. 234 overall) to the Rams in exchange for Robinson and a seventh-round choice (No. 251 overall). Under the terms of the deal, Los Angeles is slated to pay $10.25 million of Robinson's $15.25 million guaranteed salary for the coming season, while Pittsburgh will pay the remaining $5 million. In his new locale, Robinson will provide depth, versatility and experience to a wideout corps that features Diontae Johnson and George Pickens. On the heels of logging 33 catches for 339 yards and three touchdowns over 10 games during his lone season with the Rams, Robinson has some bounce-back potential in 2023 if he can prove that he's fully past the stress fracture in his foot that landed him on injured reserve last November.

  • Tarik Black WR | DET

Ravens' Tarik Black: Signing with Baltimore

Black agreed to a contract with the Ravens on Wednesday, Clifton Brown of the team's official site reports.

Black began the 2022 season on the Jets' practice squad before getting released and signing with Baltimore's practice squad in January. He'll now stick around in Baltimore for a little while longer, though he's far from a lock to secure a roster spot heading into Week 1. Since turning pro in 2021, Black has recorded just one catch during NFL regular-season action.

  • Chris Moore WR | WAS

Titans' Chris Moore: Joins Tennessee's wideout corps

Moore agreed to a contract with the Titans on Wednesday, Jim Wyatt of the team's official site reports.

Moore is coming off a 2022 season in which he posted career numbers with the Texans, catching 48 passes for 548 yards and two touchdowns in 16 games. With Tennessee, the 6-foot-1, 200-pound receiver is in line to compete for snaps with Treylon Burks, Nick Westbrook-Ikhine and Kyle Philips. Even with the addition of Moore, the Titans' receiver room is likely not a finished product, as the team is likely to add depth at the position during the 2023 NFL Draft. Moore's fantasy prospects thus hinge on him securing a steady role out of the gate early on this coming season, which is currently a plausible outcome for the 29-year-old, pending further high-profile additions.

  • Stefon Diggs WR | NE

Bills' Stefon Diggs: Not at Bills' voluntary workouts

General manager Brandon Beane confirmed Diggs didn't report for the start of the Bills' offseason workout program Monday, according to Matt Parrino of New York Upstate.

It's important to note that these workouts are voluntary, but even Josh Allen is in attendance, and it's always notable when a potentially disgruntled star player chooses not to attend. Diggs has posted cryptic tweets this offseason after showing his frustration following the Bills' divisional-round loss to the Bengals in the playoffs last season. However, he just signed a four-year extension through 2027 with Buffalo last offseason. There's been no indication that the Bills plan to trade their star wideout.

  • Allen Robinson WR | DET

Steelers' Allen Robinson: Flipped to Steelers in pick swap

The Steelers have agreed to acquire Robinson (foot) and the No. 251 overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft from the Rams in exchange for the No. 234 overall pick in this year's NFL Draft, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Robinson is on his way to Pittsburgh on Tuesday afternoon and will take his physical Wednesday. In order to facilitate the deal, the Rams are paying $10.25 million of the wide receiver's 2023 salary, while the Steelers cover the remaining $5 million. With Pittsburgh, Robinson figures to be kicking inside to the slot while Diontae Johnson and George Pickens remain on the outside. Robinson had a miserable 2022 with the Rams, showing little chemistry with Matthew Stafford after Stafford sat out much of the offseason program resting his elbow. Robinson turns 30 in August and shouldn't be counted on to return meaningful fantasy numbers in Pittsburgh, as Kenny Pickett doesn't figure to be any kind of upgrade at quarterback, but there's no direction to go but up following a 2022 that ended prematurely with a broken foot in Week 11. Robinson should be recovered in time for a normal training camp.

  • Allen Robinson WR | DET

Rams' Allen Robinson: Could be traded to Steelers

The Steelers are bringing Robinson (foot) in for a physical and if no red flags are discovered with his health, the wideout is expected to head to Pittsburgh in a trade, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Robinson, who recorded a 33-339-3 stat line on 52 targets in 10 games last season with the Rams in 2022, is bouncing back from a foot injury, but if he's past the issue, the 29-year-old would be a nice addition to a Pittsburgh wide receiver corps that is currently headed by Diontae Johnson and George Pickens.
