  • Nelson Agholor WR | BAL

Ravens' Nelson Agholor: Rested Monday night

Agholor didn't play in Monday's preseason game against Washington, Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reports.

Fellow veteran receiver Devin Duvernay started and played six snaps, while Agholor was among the many players rested. It thus seems Agholor is on track for the No. 4 receiver spot behind Odell Beckham, Rashod Bateman and Zay Flowers, which could mean a decent bit of playing time Week 1 against Houston if Bateman has limitations in his first game back from a Lisfranc injury.

  • Dyami Brown WR | WAS

Commanders' Dyami Brown: Scores TD, avoids concussion

Brown caught two of six targets for 27 yards and a touchdown in Monday's 29-28 win over Baltimore.

Brown was the No. 4 WR for the first-team offense and scored a touchdown at the end of the first half after Terry McLaurin left with a toe injury. Brown also took a few snaps prior to McLaurin's exit, and later played with the second-stringers after halftime, hauling in a 16-yard catch from Jacoby Brissett. To cap off his eventful night, Brown left the game to be checked for a concussion, and while he was quickly cleared he sat out the rest of the game anyway. The 2021 third-round pick has had a disappointing first two seasons in the NFL, but reports out of camp this year have been far more positive and it's possible McLaurin's toe injury opens up a top-three spot for Brown at WR in Week 1 against Arizona.

  • Robbie Chosen WR | WAS

Dolphins' Robbie Chosen: Plays in preseason win

Chosen (undisclosed) failed to secure his only target during Saturday's preseason win over Houston.

Chosen missed Miami's preseason opener with an undisclosed injury, but he's now back to full health. The veteran wideout's lone target came from backup quarterback Skylar Thompson in the second quarter, in a game where 10 players successfully recorded a catch for Miami. The Dolphins' competition at No. 3 wideout is still open, but both Braxton Berrios and Cedrick Wilson have been more productive than Chosen so far this preseason.

  • Dolphins' Braxton Berrios: Scores in preseason win

Berrios (head) secured three of four targets for 33 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's exhibition win over the Texans.

Berrios returned to action after having suffered a head injury on a punt return Aug. 13, and in impressive fashion. He began the game with one catch from starter Tua Tagovailoa, with his final two grabs, including an 18-yard touchdown to end the second quarter, coming from Skylar Thompson. He looks slated to operate as the Dolphins' top return man this season, while also handling a depth role at wideout.

  • Terry McLaurin WR | WAS

Commanders' Terry McLaurin: Believed to have turf toe

McLaurin is believed to have suffered a turf toe injury on his right foot during Monday's preseason game against the Ravens, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

McLaurin will undergo an MRI on Tuesday to reveal the full extent of his injury. Turf toe diagnoses can range from Grade 1, for which he should miss little time, to Grade 3, which involves a ligament tear and carries a multi-week recovery. The hope is that Washington's top wideout has avoided a serious issue, and that he can get healthy in time for the team's regular-season opener against Arizona on Sept. 10. If McLaurin were to miss any time, however, second-year pro Jahan Dotson would likely step up as Sam Howell's No. 1 target.

  • Elijah Moore WR | PHI

    Browns' Elijah Moore: Practices Sunday

Moore (ribs) participated in Sunday's practice, Doc Louallen of the Browns' official site reports.

Cleveland head coach Kevin Stefanski indicated there are no limits on Moore, who missed the joint practices and game last week with the Eagles. He did work in team drills Sunday, however. The head coach added that the Browns' starters will play in the final preseason game Saturday against Kansas City, and that presumably includes Moore. The wideout has been deployed in a variety of roles since being picked up from the Jets, as seen during training camp and the preseason opener against the Commanders.

  • Buccaneers' Kaylon Geiger: One catch in preseason win

Geiger brought in one of two targets for eight yards in the Buccaneers' 13-6 preseason win over the Jets on Saturday night.

Geiger saw a notable downturn in production after standing out with a 4-50-0 line in the preseason opener. The second-year pro's underwhelming production was especially disappointing in light of the fact he logged a robust 28 snaps overall. Moreover, given that Rakim Jarrett, a primary competitor for a reserve receiver role, shined with three catches for 84 yards Saturday, Geiger will likely need to stand out significantly in Saturday night's preseason finale against the Ravens to have a chance to stick on the final roster.

  • Buccaneers' Deven Thompkins: Tallies 33 all-purpose yards in win

Thompkins secured two of three targets for 13 yards, returned one kickoff for 16 yards and ran back two punts for four yards in the Buccaneers' 13-6 preseason win over the Jets on Saturday night.

Thompkins had a solid night overall while logging 20 snaps from scrimmage. The Utah State product is in a battle with several other young wideouts for a spot on the latter portion of the Buccaneers' depth chart, and he was outperformed by one of them, Rakim Jarrett, in Saturday's contest. Nevertheless, Thompkins' ability to also contribute as a returner ups his odds, and he should have another solid opportunity to make his case in Saturday night's home preseason finale versus the Ravens.

  • David Moore WR | CAR

Buccaneers' David Moore: Pair of catches in preseason win

Moore secured two of four targets for 18 yards and fumbled once but recovered in the Buccaneers' 13-6 preseason win over the Jets on Saturday night. He also returned one punt for no gain.

Moore had a relatively quiet night overall while the player who might well be his primary competition for the No. 3 receiver job, Trey Palmer, flashed again with a 33-yard touchdown grab. However, the veteran, who led the team in targets, was reasonably productive overall, and given his experience edge over Palmer, Moore could potentially emerge as the victor in the job battle if he puts together an impressive enough effort in Saturday night's home preseason finale against the Ravens.

  • Rakim Jarrett WR | PIT

Buccaneers' Rakim Jarrett: Leads pass catchers in win

Jarrett secured all three targets for 84 yards in the Buccaneers' 13-6 preseason win over the Jets on Saturday night. He also rushed once for minus-3 yards.

Jarrett had been turning heads frequently in training camp, and his 33 snaps were second only to David Moore among Buccaneers receivers. The Maryland product also recorded a game-long, 36-yard grab, making quite the case in his ongoing bid for a reserve receiver role. His chances of snagging a spot have likely been at least slightly boosted by Russell Gage's season-ending knee injury, and Jarrett should have another extended opportunity to convince the coaching staff in Saturday night's home preseason finale against the Ravens.
