Trent Sherfield WR | BUF
Bills' Trent Sherfield: Two grabs in win
Sherfield caught two of his three targets for 18 yards in Sunday's 37-3 win over the Commanders.
Sherfield saw his first targets as a member of the Bills on Sunday, but he was unable to make much happen with his opportunities. The veteran's offensive snap share has increased each week, as he was on the field for 46 percent of snaps in Week 3. Over the first two weeks, Sherfield saw snap shares of 16 percent and 39 percent. His increased usage is promising, but his overall lack of involvement in the passing game leaves much to be desired. The 27-year-old receiver will likely continue to compete with Deonte Harty and Khalil Shakir for targets behind many of the Bills' talented skill position players with more established roles, like Stefon Diggs, Gabe Davis, James Cook, Dawson Knox and Dalton Kincaid. Sherfield will look to take a step forward in a Week 4 matchup against the Dolphins, his former team.

Brandon Johnson WR | LV
Broncos' Brandon Johnson: Catches two passes in loss
Johnson caught two of his three targets for 12 yards in Sunday's 70-20 loss to the Dolphins.
Johnson played 60 percent of the Broncos' offensive snaps Sunday, operating as Denver's No. 3 wideout. Meanwhile, rookie Marvin Mims continued to play behind Johnson, logging just a 24 percent snap share. Unfortunately, the veteran was unable to produce much for fantasy purposes despite being in a pass-heavy game script for most of the contest. Going forward, it's reasonable to think that Johnson could fall behind Mims on the depth chart if the first-year receiver continues to make big plays on an offense that desperately needs a spark. Nonetheless, the 25-year-old will look to keep a hold of his spot on the depth chart in a favorable matchup in Week 3, as the Broncos visit the Bears and their struggling defense.

Austin Trammell WR | JAC
Austin Trammell: Reverts to practice squad
Trammell has moved back to the practice squad after playing in Monday's game against the Bengals.
The wide receiver played five snaps on special teams and did not record a stat. Trammell played in Week 2 against the 49ers and saw one snap on offense.

Devon Allen WR | PHI
Devon Allen: Returns to practice squad
Allen reverted to the Eagles' practice squad Tuesday.
Allen was elevated ahead of the team's 25-11 win over the Buccaneers on Monday, returning one punt for 17 yards while playing 11 special-teams snaps. The wide receiver could be added to the active roster again in Week 4 versus the Commanders if Quez Watkins (hamstring) is unavailable again.

Chase Cota WR | CLE
Chase Cota: Signs with Kansas City
Cota (undisclosed) is healthy again and signed with the Chiefs' practice squad Tuesday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
The Oregon product signed with the Lions in April but was waived with an injury settlement Aug. 30. Cota played in 10 games for the Ducks in 2022 and caught 36 passes for 497 yards and three touchdowns.

Deven Thompkins WR | BUF
Buccaneers' Deven Thompkins: Two catches in loss
Thompkins brought in two of four targets for six yards in the Buccaneers' 25-11 loss to the Eagles on Monday night.
Across 10 snaps, Thompkins notably garnered more of Baker Mayfield's attention than did fellow complementary wideout Trey Palmer in 34 plays from scrimmage. The second-year speedster's playing time was his lowest of the first three games, and his production and snaps are likely to both remain volatile unless multiple injuries strike in front of him on the receiving corps.

Matt Landers WR | TEN
Matt Landers: Joins Panthers' practice squad
Carolina signed Landers to its practice squad Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Just a week after being cut from Seattle's practice squad, Landers has found another chance with a new team. The undrafted rookie boasts impressive athleticism, but he hasn't gotten a chance to show it on the field yet.

Trey Palmer WR | NO
Buccaneers' Trey Palmer: Limited to one catch Monday
Palmer caught his only target for an eight-yard gain in the Buccaneers' 25-11 loss to the Eagles on Monday night.
The speedy rookie logged a solid 34 snaps, but Baker Mayfield looked the way of Deven Thompkins four times to Palmer's one. The week-to-week production of both depth wideouts will remain difficult to trust as long as Mike Evans and Chris Godwin are healthy in front of them.

Christian Watson WR | GB
Packers' Christian Watson: Not yet medically cleared
Coach Matt LaFleur said that Watson (hamstring) hasn't been medically cleared as of Tuesday, Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
The wideout was listed as limited at Tuesday's walkthrough, but Watson relayed to Matt Schneidman of The Athletic that he plans to be active Thursday against the Lions. Considering LaFleur's comments, Watson still has a hurdle or two to clear before the Packers will feel comfortable allowing him to make his season debut. There's a chance his Week 4 status will be a game-time decision.

Simi Fehoko WR | ARI
Chargers' Simi Fehoko: Picked up by Chargers
The Chargers signed Fehoko off of Pittsburgh's practice squad Tuesday.
After Mike Williams went down for the season Sunday with a torn ACL, it makes sense for the Chargers to add some depth to their wide receiver room. Fehoko's path to targets is a narrow one though, as he'll likely be behind Keenan Allen, Joshua Palmer and Quentin Johnston, at least to start.
