Montrell Washington WR | NYG
Chiefs' Montrell Washington: Elevated Saturday
The Chiefs elevated Washington from the practice squad Saturday.
The move coincides with Kansas City placing Mecole Hardman (thumb) on injured reserve and ruling out Kadarius Toney (ankle) for Sunday's game against the Raiders. Washington has bounced between the Chiefs' active and practice squads this season and has played 34 snaps on special teams in four games.

Mecole Hardman WR | BUF
Chiefs' Mecole Hardman: Lands on IR
The Chiefs placed Hardman (thumb) on injured reserve Saturday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Hardman sprained his thumb in Monday's 21-17 loss to the Eagles. He wasn't able to log a practice session this week and will now be forced to miss at least the next four games while on IR. In his absence, Skyy Moore and Richie James are candidates to see action as the fourth wide receiver behind Justin Watson, Rashee Rice and Marquez Valdes-Scantling.

Kadarius Toney WR | CLE
Chiefs' Kadarius Toney: Won't play Sunday
Toney (ankle) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Raiders.
Toney joins Mecole Hardman (thumb) and Jerick McKinnon (groin) as the Chiefs' skill position players who will not play Sunday. Toney has struggled in his first year in Kansas City and has played 40-plus percent offensive snaps once this season. With Toney and Hardman out, Skyy Moore and Richie James are candidates to see a significant uptick in offensive snaps for Sunday's game.

D.J. Montgomery WR | IND
Colts' D.J. Montgomery: Called up from practice squad
The Colts elevated Montgomery from the practice squad Saturday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Montgomery joined the Colts' practice squad Aug. 31 after being cut by the team two days prior ahead of the 53-man roster deadline. If active for Sunday's game against the Buccaneers, Montgomery could see some action on special teams.

Xavier Gipson WR | NYG
Jets' Xavier Gipson: Two catches in Week 12
Gipson caught both of his targets for 15 yards in Friday's 34-13 loss to the Dolphins.
Gipson didn't see a change in role due to Allen Lazard (coach's decision) being benched, as fellow undrafted rookie Jason Brownlee took over Lazard's usual role on the outside while Gipson remained in the slot. Gipson also had one kickoff return for 28 yards.

Jason Brownlee WR | KC
Jets' Jason Brownlee: First NFL receptions Friday
Brownlee caught both of his targets for 20 yards in Friday's 34-13 loss to the Dolphins.
With fellow wide receiver Allen Lazard (coach's decision) inactive, Brownlee played all but one of New York's 58 offensive snaps while working on the outside opposite Garrett Wilson. The undrafted rookie out of Southern Miss made his first two NFL catches. Brownlee had appeared in two previous games and played 21 offensive snaps without being targeted. With the 4-7 Jets falling out of the playoff race, they may start placing a greater emphasis on getting the ball to young players such as Brownlee moving forward.

Allen Lazard WR | NYJ
Jets' Allen Lazard: Will play again soon, per coach
After Friday's 34-13 loss to the Dolphins, coach Robert Saleh said Lazard (coach's decision) was benched for the game as "kind of a challenge to see if he can recapture the edge and who he is and the person that we have a lot of faith in" before adding that Lazard "will be back sooner rather than later," Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports.
Lazard has struggled since signing a four-year, $44 million contract with the Jets prior to the 2023 season. He had just 20 catches for 290 yards and one touchdown through 10 games before being left inactive for Friday's loss, though New York once again got minimal contributions from wide receivers other than Garrett Wilson. The first two years of Lazard's contract include $22 million in guaranteed money, but the Jets can cut him after that with minimal salary cap ramifications. The veteran wide receiver is healthy and could be reinserted into the game-day lineup as soon as Week 13 against the Falcons.

Trishton Jackson WR | ARI
Trishton Jackson: Lands on practice squad
Jackson joined the Vikings' practice squad Friday.
After being let go by Minnesota earlier in the week, Jackson ultimately cleared waivers and re-signed with the team. He has tallied two receptions for nine yards on four targets in six games this season. He will now be available to provide depth at receiver if needed going forward.

Zach Pascal WR | NYG
Cardinals' Zach Pascal: Questionable to face Rams
Pascal (hamstring) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Rams.
The veteran wideout has played 129 offensive snaps all season, catching four passes for 19 yards on 11 targets as a deep reserve.
