  • Cedric Tillman WR | CLE

Browns' Cedric Tillman: Two catches in Week 16

Tillman caught both of his targets for 13 yards in Sunday's 36-22 win over the Texans in Week 16.

Tillman continues to see significant time on the field, playing nearly 80 percent of the offensive snaps in the eight games since Donovan Peoples-Jones was traded. While the rookie wideout has experienced an increased target rate over the last five games, Tillman's routes-run percentage is the lowest among the Browns' regulars.

  • Collin Johnson: Reverts to practice squad

Johnson reverted to Chicago's practice squad Monday, per the NFL's transaction log.

Johnson played 13 of 70 offensive snaps in Chicago's 27-16 win over the Cardinals on Monday, but he didn't record any stats. The Bears have elevated Johnson for two games this season, so the team can do so once more before having to make a decision about signing him to the 53-man roster.

  • Noah Brown WR | WAS

Texans' Noah Brown: Seven targets in loss

Brown caught three of seven targets for 38 yards in Sunday's 36-22 loss to Cleveland in Week 16.

Brown had the second-most targets and yards on a day when Houston's offense missed its starting quarterback, C.J. Stroud (concussion). Between Stroud's absence and injuries at wideout, the passing attack has suffered, although the Texans welcomed back Nico Collins from a calf injury Sunday. Houston will not have Tank Dell (lower leg) for the rest of the season, which leaves Collins and Brown as the top two followed closely by Robert Woods.

  • Robert Woods WR | PIT

Texans' Robert Woods: Six targets in loss

Woods caught two of six targets for 14 yards in Sunday's 36-22 loss to the Browns in Week 16.

Woods maintained elevated usage (61 snaps) even with the return of top wideout Nico Collins from a calf injury. Collins was on the field for just 35 snaps, which could have been a decision to hold him back due to the game getting out of hand early. With various injuries at wideout the last two games, Woods has 11 targets and played 81 percent of the offensive snaps.

  • Texans' Xavier Hutchinson: Drop in snap count

Hutchinson caught one of two targets for 18 yards in Sunday's 36-22 loss to the Browns.

Hutchinson, who played a season-high 65 snaps last week, was down to 31 in Sunday's game due to the return of Nico Collins from a calf injury. Despite the loss, the Texans remain in the hunt for the AFC South title, as the Colts and Jaguars also lost in Week 16. With something left to play for, that means any banged-up veteran wideouts should continue to keep Hutchinson on the lower end of the depth chart.

  • Deebo Samuel WR | WAS

49ers' Deebo Samuel: Off game results in 54 yards

Samuel finished with four receptions (on 12 targets) for 47 yards while rushing twice for seven yards in Monday's 33-19 loss to Baltimore.

Samuel was out of sync with Brock Purdy (stinger) on Monday after the quarterback threw two first-half interceptions while targeting his top wideout. Things didn't improve much for the duo in the second half after Purdy missed hitting a wide-open Samuel on a slant to begin the drive following his fourth interception. Samuel returned the mistake a couple of plays later when he flat-out dropped a third-down pass that hit him in the hands, resulting in another stalled drive for San Francisco. Initial reports indicate that the injury Purdy suffered in the loss isn't serious, which should afford both he and Samuel golden opportunities for "get right" games against Washington's league-worst defense on Sunday.

  • 49ers' Brandon Aiyuk: Bounces back in big way

Aiyuk hauled in six of his seven targets for 113 yards in Monday's 33-19 loss to the Ravens.

Aiyuk bounced back from his worst fantasy game to date in 2023 to record his sixth 100-yard game of the season. The Arizona State product also finished with the best catch rate (85.7 percent) out of San Francisco's quartet of playmakers on a night where quarterback Brock Purdy (stinger) uncharacteristically threw four interceptions before exiting late due to injury. Assuming his quarterback's removal from Monday's ugly loss was of the precautionary nature, Aiyuk could be in store for another big receiving line against Washington's 31st-ranked pass defense Sunday.

  • Buccaneers' Deven Thompkins: Limited to returns in win

Thompkins did not draw a target over 14 snaps from scrimmage during Sunday's 30-12 win over the Jaguars, but he returned one kickoff for 17 yards and ran back one punt for six yards.

Thompkins hasn't drawn a target since Week 13, and Sunday marked his second game in the last three without a single touch from scrimmage. With his return duties the only stable part of his profile, Thompkins remains a fantasy non-factor heading into Week 17.

  • Colts' D.J. Montgomery: Just one reception in loss

Montgomery had one reception for eight yards on four targets in Sunday's loss at Atlanta.

Montgomery saw an increased role with Michael Pittman sidelined with a concussion, but the former wasn't as productive as the prior week with the Indy passing game struggling. He played on 61 of the offense's 71 snaps and went out on 44 routes. Montgomery had 48 yards receiving and a touchdown the prior week. He'll move back to a more limited role if Pittman is able to return Sunday against the Raiders.

  • David Moore WR | CAR

Buccaneers' David Moore: Disappointing after Week 15 surge

Moore secured his only target for seven yards in the Buccaneers' 30-12 win over the Jaguars on Sunday.

Moore encouragingly saw an uptick in snaps from scrimmage to a season-high 22, but he still was minimally involved from a target perspective. The 28-year-old does have the type of track record to suggest he could see his numbers improve on any given week, but he'll remain a complementary option for the Buccaneers if Mike Evans and Chris Godwin remain in good health for the final two games of the campaign.
