Darnell Mooney WR | NYG
Bears' Darnell Mooney: No practice reps Wednesday
Mooney (concussion) didn't practice Wednesday.
Earlier Wednesday, head coach Matt Eberflus revealed that Mooney self-reported concussion symptoms Monday, and the wide receiver has since been placed in the five-step protocol for head injuries, per Kevin Fishbain of The Athletic. If Mooney doesn't resume practicing as at least a limited participant by Friday, he would likely be in danger of missing his first game of the season Sunday versus Atlanta. In such a scenario, Equanimeous St. Brown (pectoral), Tyler Scott and Velus Jones could get more run behind the Bears' top wide receiver, DJ Moore.

Wan'Dale Robinson WR | TEN
Giants' Wan'Dale Robinson: Tending to quad injury
Robinson was a limited participant at Wednesday's walkthrough due to a quadricep injury, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.
Robinson is among three key Giants skill-position players to be operating with practice restrictions to begin Week 17 prep, as running back Saquon Barkley (elbow) and tight end Darren Waller (knee) have the same limited listing. The second-year receiver has safely been able to clear a 60 percent snap share most weeks since making his season debut Week 3, including in each of the last five games. In the end, though, Robinson's status will need to be watched as the week rolls along to make sure he'll be out there again Sunday versus the Rams.

Ja'Marr Chase WR | CIN
Bengals' Ja'Marr Chase: Working with trainers
Chase (shoulder) isn't practicing Wednesday, but he was spotted working out on the rehab field with the Bengals' training staff, Charlie Goldsmith of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.
Chase sat out Saturday's loss to the Steelers and is in danger of missing this Sunday's game at Kansas City, though head coach Zac Taylor said Wednesday that the wideout is making progress in his recovery from a sprained AC joint in his right shoulder, per Ben Baby of ESPN.com. Rookie Andrei Iosivas took on most of the snaps alongside Tee Higgins and Tyler Boyd in Week 16, with veteran Trenton Irwin operating as the No. 4 receiver.

Robbie Chosen WR | WAS
Dolphins' Robbie Chosen: In concussion protocol
Chosen is in concussion protocol but has responded well so far, coach Mike McDaniel said Wednesday, Daniel Oyefusi of The Miami Herald reports.
Chosen was placed in the NFL's five-step concussion protocol after sustaining a concussion in the first quarter of this past Sunday's win over the Cowboys. His practice participation levels should provide insight on how quickly Chosen's progressing through the protocol ahead of Sunday's game against the Ravens.

Justin Watson WR | HOU
Chiefs' Justin Watson: Logs 49 snaps in Week 16
Watson was on the field for 49 of a possible 76 snaps on offense in Monday's 20-14 loss to the Raiders.
In the process, Watson hauled in four of his six targets for 38 yards and a touchdown in the contest. Looking ahead to this weekend's game against the Bengals, Watson profiles as a fantasy option in deeper formats, having overall logged 26 catches on 49 targets for 419 yards and three TDs through 14 outings to date.

Kadarius Toney WR | CLE
Chiefs' Kadarius Toney: Absent to begin Week 17 prep
Toney (hip) won't practice Wednesday, Matt McMullen of the Chiefs' official site reports.
Toney missed Monday's 20-14 loss to the Raiders and still isn't ready to resume practicing. He'll have two more opportunities to take the practice field Thursday and Friday before Kansas City decides whether the wideout will carry a designation into Sunday's game against the Bengals.

Jaylen Waddle WR | DEN
Dolphins' Jaylen Waddle: High-ankle sprain not severe
Head coach Mike McDaniel noted Wednesday that Waddle is dealing with a high-ankle sprain that isn't "overly severe," Marcel Louis-Jacques of ESPN.com reports.
Though high-ankle injuries often force at least one-game absences for players like Waddle who are highly reliant on speed and the ability to change direction, McDaniel isn't yet discounting the possibility of the receiver being able to play Sunday against the Ravens. That said, Waddle's practice participation this week will be affected by the ankle issue, and he seems likely to carry an injury designation into the weekend if he isn't ruled out for the game at the conclusion of Friday's practice. If Waddle ends up sidelined for Week 17, Cedrick Wilson and Braxton Berrios would likely be next in line for added reps behind top receiver Tyreek Hill.
-
Michael Pittman WR | PIT
Colts' Michael Pittman: Remains in protocol Wednesday
Colts head coach Shane Steichen confirmed Wednesday that Pittman (shoulder) remains in concussion protocol, George Bremer of The Anderson Herald Bulletin reports.
Steichen added that Pittman is "progressing well," but the coach had similar sentiments heading into the Colts' previous game before the wideout's symptoms resurfaced Saturday and forced him to sit out a 29-10 Week loss to the Falcons. Pittman will have to clear the five-step protocol to have a chance to play Sunday against the Raiders in a pivotal game for the 8-7 Colts' playoff hopes.

Odell Beckham Jr. WR | NYG
Ravens' Odell Beckham: Minimal production against 49ers
Beckham caught two of three targets for 13 yards in Monday's 33-19 win over the 49ers.
Beckham was targeted three times for the second straight week and failed to reach 15 yards in either contest. The veteran wideout played 54 percent of the Ravens' offensive snaps Monday, continuing a streak of three games in which he has played more than half of the team's snaps. Beckham's increased playing time is a promising sign, and he could be asked to be more involved in Week 17, when the Ravens host the Dolphins in what could be a shootout.

Rashod Bateman WR | BAL
Ravens' Rashod Bateman: One catch in win
Bateman caught one of four targets for 14 yards in Monday's 33-19 win over the 49ers.
Bateman has now been held under 20 receiving yards six times in 14 appearances on the season. He's found the end zone just once and hasn't topped six targets on any occasion, making him a low-upside weekly fantasy option despite being attached to an MVP candidate in quarterback Lamar Jackson. Even with star tight end Mark Andrews (ankle) on injured reserve, Bateman still appears to be a secondary option in a passing attack headlined by rookie Zay Flowers, who drew 13 targets in Week 16.
