  • Josh Downs WR | IND

Colts' Josh Downs: Scores in return to action Sunday

Downs (concussion) brought in all three of his targets for 39 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 38-14 rout of the Titans.

Downs returned from a one-game layoff after clearing the league's concussion protocol to reclaim a starting role in Indianapolis' receiver rotation. The 23-year-old picked up where he left off when he scored his first touchdown of the season in his last appearance against the Cardinals in Week 6. Downs will attempt to hit pay dirt for the third time in as many appearances when the Colts visit the Steelers next Sunday.

  • Alec Pierce WR | IND

Colts' Alec Pierce: Gains 69 yards Sunday

Pierce had two receptions on five targets for 69 yards in Sunday's 38-14 win over the Titans.

Pierce followed up a season-high 98 receiving yards in Week 7 with his second-highest total through six starts in 2025. Michael Pittman stole the show with a 8-95-1 receiving line in the win, but Pierce still left his mark on the contest with a game-high reception of 50 yards. Pierce is averaging 64.3 receiving yards per game this season, but a lack of scoring (zero touchdowns) holds him back from standard-league relevance against the Steelers next Sunday.

  • Roman Wilson WR | PIT

Steelers' Roman Wilson: Leading receiver on SNF

Wilson corralled four of five targets for 74 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 35-25 loss to Green Bay.

Wilson waited for the return of fellow wideout Calvin Austin (shoulder) to deliver a standout fantasy performance after struggling in the two games replacing his teammate. The 24-year-old Wilson boosted his final line with a 21-yard touchdown grab in garbage time of Sunday's loss. Wilson hadn't topped 17 receiving yards in any of his previous six outings this year, so fantasy managers shouldn't overreact to what might end up being his best fantasy score of the season.

  • Romeo Doubs WR | GB

Packers' Romeo Doubs: Finishes with 44 yards on SNF

Doubs had three receptions on six targets for 44 yards and a two-point conversion in Sunday's 35-25 win over the Steelers.

Christian Watson (knee) made his season debut in Week 8, finishing with 85 receiving yards behind Tucker Kraft's monster receiving line (7-143-2). This left Dobbs finishing third in receiving for the Packers, although he finished second in team targets. While he didn't cash in any of Jordan Love's three touchdown passes, Doubs was able to find the end zone on a successful two-point conversion attempt to give managers a minor boost to his final fantasy score. Doubs should continue starting alongside Watson when Green Bay hosts Carolina next Sunday.

  • DK Metcalf WR | PIT

Steelers' DK Metcalf: Back in scoring column Sunday

Metcalf finished with five receptions on seven targets for 55 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 35-25 loss to the Packers.

Metcalf found his way back into the end zone after watching his scoring streak of four games come to an end in Week 7. The five receptions tied the athletic wideout's previous high through seven games with his new club, signaling a dip in volume following his transition from Seattle to Pittsburgh this past offseason. The Steelers' No. 1 receiver currently sits at 27 receptions on 43 targets through seven starts, a pace well off the 66 receptions he recorded in each of his last two seasons as a member of the Seahawks. Metcalf has offset the decreased usage with improved red-zone prowess, matching the five touchdowns he recorded in 2024 in less than half of the games played. The total package is good enough to warrant starting consideration in the majority of fantasy formats heading into next Sunday's tilt against Indianapolis.

  • Packers' Christian Watson: Solid effort in return to action

Watson (knee) secured all four of his targets for 85 yards in Sunday's 35-25 win over the Steelers.

Watson made a successful return from a torn ACL suffered in the final game of the 2024 regular season, finishing second behind TE Tucker Kraft (7-143-2) in receiving for the Packers on Sunday Night Football. The 25-year-old Watson exhibited his usual big-play ability in his first taste of action this season, showing no ill effects from the severe knee injury he suffered in January. Watson immediately reinserted himself as one of QB Jordan Love's top targets, making him an appealing fantasy option against the Panthers next Sunday.

  • Xavier Legette WR | CAR

Panthers' Xavier Legette: Quiet with two receptions in loss

Legette brought in two of three targets for 17 yards in the Panthers' 40-9 loss to the Bills on Sunday.

One week after posting a career-best 9-92-1 line against the Jets, Legette saw a significant downturn in the lopsided loss. The second-year wideout's Week 7 breakout is more or less an outlier, considering Legette has topped out at three receptions and 31 receiving yards otherwise in terms of single-game highs. Legette will take a middling 19-159-2 line on 34 targets over six games into a Week 9 road trip to Green Bay.

  • Jayden Higgins WR | HOU

Texans' Jayden Higgins: Team-high target total in win

Higgins brought in four of eight targets for 34 yards and a touchdown in the Texans' 26-15 win over the 49ers on Sunday.

Higgins logged a team-high target total in the absences of Nico Collins (concussion) and Christian Kirk (hamstring), and he recorded his second career touchdown on a 12-yard grab midway through the second quarter. Higgins' catch tally also tied a career high, while both his yardage and targets qualified as new high-water marks. The rookie second-round pick could continue operating in an expanded role during a Week 9 home matchup against the Broncos.

  • Darnell Mooney WR | ATL

Falcons' Darnell Mooney: No benefit from London absence

Mooney brought in one of four targets for 11 yards in the Falcons' 34-10 loss to the Dolphins on Sunday.

Drake London (hip) was a surprise inactive after being placed on the injury report Saturday, but Mooney and fill-in signal-caller Kirk Cousins were unable to connect until the latter portion of the contest. The disappointing showing featured a season-low receiving yardage total for Mooney, who now has two one-catch tallies in his last three appearances heading into a Week 9 road matchup against a tough Patriots defense.

  • Keon Coleman WR | BUF

Bills' Keon Coleman: Quiet performance coming out of bye

Coleman secured three of four targets for 30 yards in the Bills' 40-9 win over the Panthers on Sunday.

Coleman finished a distant second to Khalil Shakir in receptions, receiving yards and targets, turning in his sixth straight sub-50-yard effort following his 112-yard tally against the Ravens in Week 1. The second-year wideout is averaging just 9.9 yards per reception and has taken just three of his 27 catches for 20-plus yards, a sharp contrast to the outstanding 19.2 yards per grab he averaged as a rookie in the 2024 regular season. Coleman will aim to make a bigger impact in a Week 9 home showdown against the Chiefs next Sunday afternoon.
