  • Ladd McConkey WR | LAC

Chargers' Ladd McConkey: Logs another limited practice Thursday

McConkey (calf) remained limited at practice Thursday.

McConkey also was limited Wednesday, so the wideout has one more chance to upgrade to full participation before the Chargers assign injury designations for Sunday's game against the Titans. In his team's 37-10 win over the Vikings in Week 8, McConkey caught six of a team-high 10 targets for 88 yards and a TD.

  • Chiefs' Hollywood Brown: Full participant Thursday

Brown (illness) was a full participant at Thursday's practice, Matt McMullen of the Chiefs' official site reports.

Brown missed practice Wednesday due to an illness, but his full participation Thursday indicates the wide receiver has recovered and should be available Sunday against the Bills. His role has decreased substantially since Rashee Rice's return from suspension, with Rice, Travis Kelce and Xavier Worthy all earning more attention from Patrick Mahomes than Brown.

  • 49ers' Ricky Pearsall: Doesn't practice Thursday

Pearsall (knee) didn't take part in Thursday's practice, Cam Inman of The San Jose Mercury News reports.

On a positive note, though, Pearsall ran quick routes and made cuts on a side field, seemingly testing the current state of his right knee and its lingering PCL injury. The 49ers may make a ruling on the second-year pro's availability for Sunday's game at the Giants as soon as Friday, but the 49ers' receiving corps again might be led by Jauan Jennings, Kendrick Bourne and Demarcus Robinson in Week 9.

  • Ben Skowronek WR | PIT

Steelers' Ben Skowronek: Gets in full practice Thursday

Skowronek (neck) was a full practice participant Thursday, Teresa Varley of the Steelers' official site reports.

Skowronek was a limited participant Wednesday due to a neck issue, but he appears to be fine given his full participation one day later. The veteran wideout should be good to go for Sunday's Week 9 clash against the Colts, though he hasn't been a major part of Pittsburgh's offense with just two catches on three targets for 35 yards and a touchdown through seven contests.

  • Darnell Mooney WR | ATL

Falcons' Darnell Mooney: Logs full practice Thursday

Mooney (hamstring) practiced in full Thursday, Tori McElhaney of the Falcons' official site reports.

Mooney upgraded from limited Wednesday due to his lingering hamstring issue to all activity one day later, indicating that it isn't much of a concern. Fellow WR Drake London (hip) and TE Kyle Pitts (ankle) again were limited, meaning Mooney currently is the healthiest among Atlanta's key pass catchers. Having said that, Mooney didn't benefit from London's absence this past Sunday versus the Dolphins, hauling in just one of four passes for 11 yards while working with fill-in QB Kirk Cousins. No. 1 QB Michael Penix (knee) also remained limited Thursday, so there's a chance Cousins will be under center Sunday at New England.

  • Marvin Mims WR | DEN

Broncos' Marvin Mims: Doesn't practice Thursday

Mims (concussion) remained a non-participant at Thursday's practice, Zac Stevens of DNVR Sports reports.

Mims will need to return to practice Friday to have any chance of clearing the NFL's five-step concussion protocol prior to Sunday's game against the Texans. If Mims sits out against Houston, Riley Moss could take over as Denver's punt returner, while more snaps would be available for Pat Bryant and Trent Sherfield at wide receiver behind Courtland Sutton and Troy Franklin.

  • Beaux Collins WR | NYG

Giants' Beaux Collins: Limited in practice again

Collins (quadriceps) registered a limited practice session Thursday, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.

Collins has now logged consecutive limited sessions to begin the week as a result of a quad injury. He may need to log a full practice Friday to avoid entering the weekend with an injury designation for Sunday's matchup against the 49ers. Should he be able to suit up, Collins may be slated for a significant role since only Wan'Dale Robinson and Darius Slayton are definitely ahead of him in the wideout pecking order.

  • Rashid Shaheed WR | SEA

Saints' Rashid Shaheed: Another limited showing

Shaheed (hip) practiced in a limited capacity Thursday, Katherine Terrell of ESPN.com reports.

With back-to-back capped practices under his belt to begin Week 9 prep due to a hip injury, Shaheed has only one more opportunity to get back to full Friday, or else risk heading into the weekend with a designation for Sunday's game at the Rams. If he's available Week 9, Shaheed will have a new QB under center, as the Saints are rolling with rookie second-round pick Tyler Shough instead of Spencer Rattler moving forward.

  • Nico Collins WR | HOU

Texans' Nico Collins: Clears concussion protocol

Collins, who has been cleared under mandatory concussion protocol, per Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston, said Thursday that he's "feeling great" and is "ready to play" Sunday against the Broncos.

Collins was inactive Week 8, and he was deemed a limited practice participant Wednesday, as was fellow WR Christian Kirk (hamstring). Thursday's injury report is slated to indicate whether, in addition to clearing concussion protocol, Collins was listed as a full practice participant.

  • Packers' Christian Watson: Limited Thursday

Watson (knee) was a limited practice participant Thursday, Matt Schneidman of The Athletic reports.

In the wake of his first game action since Week 18 of last season, Watson continues to operate with a cap on his practice reps, likely to avoid putting any undue stress on the right knee that endured a torn ACL less than 10 months ago. He still played 56 percent of the offensive snaps this past Sunday in Pittsburgh on his way to four catches (on four targets) for 85 yards. Friday's practice report will reveal whether or not Watson enters the weekend with a designation for Sunday's game against the Panthers.
