  • Josh Palmer WR | BUF

Chargers' Joshua Palmer: Remains limited at practice

Palmer (knee) remained limited at practice Thursday.

Palmer was also limited Wednesday, but so far there's nothing to suggest that he's in much danger of missing Sunday's game against the Panthers. That said, the wideout will presumably need to practice fully Friday in order to avoid a Week 2 injury designation.

  • Roman Wilson WR | PIT

Steelers' Roman Wilson: Returns to full practice

Wilson (ankle) practiced fully Thursday, Teresa Varley of the Steelers' official site reports.

Wilson missed the entire preseason, along with the Steelers' season opener against the Falcons, but the wideout's return to a full practice Thursday sets the stage for him to be available Sunday against the Broncos. Assuming the 2024 third-rounder does suit up this weekend, it remains to be seen how much work he'd initially see in a Pittsburgh WR corps that also includes George Pickens, Van Jefferson and Calvin Austin, but there could be an opportunity for the Michigan product down the road to secure a steady role behind Pickens, the team's top option at the position.

  • Josh Reynolds WR | NYJ

Broncos' Josh Reynolds: Logs limited practice

Reynolds (Achilles) was limited at practice Thursday.

Reynolds didn't practice Wednesday, so his return to a limited session a day later has him trending in the right direction ahead of Sunday's game against the Steelers. Meanwhile, fellow WR Devaughn Vele (ribs) has missed back-to-back practices, and if one or both players are limited or sidelined this weekend, Marvin Mims, Troy Franklin and perhaps Lil'Jordan Humphrey could see added work behind Courtland Sutton in Week 2.

  • Lions' Isaiah Williams: Pops up on injury report

Williams (abdomen) was listed as limited on Thursday's practice report.

Williams practiced in full Wednesday, so this is a step backward for the Illinois product. He'll have an opportunity to ramp his activity level back up Friday, and his status for the session should offer further clarity on his chances of suiting up Sunday against the Buccaneers.

  • Broncos' Devaughn Vele: Still not practicing

Vele (ribs) didn't practice Thursday, Ryan McFadden of The Denver Post and Chris Tomasson of The Denver Gazette report.

Per Tomasson, Vele -- who also didn't practice Wednesday -- was spotted on a side field during Thursday's session. What the wideout is able to do Friday, if anything, thus will be telling with regard to his chances of playing Sunday against the Steelers. The 2024 seventh-rounder caught all eight of his targets for 39 yards in his NFL regular-season debut against the Seahawks in Week 1.

  • Nico Collins WR | HOU

Texans' Nico Collins: Limited Thursday by illness

Collins was a limited participant at practice Thursday due to an illness.

Collins practiced without any restrictions Wednesday, but he was added to the Texans' Week 2 injury report one day later. As a result, the wideout's status is now worth monitoring ahead of Sunday's game against the Bears. Added context regarding Collins' availability will arrive when the Texans post their final injury report of the week Friday.

  • Josh Reynolds WR | NYJ

Broncos' Josh Reynolds: Returns to practice

Reynolds (Achilles) resumed practicing Thursday, Ryan McFadden of The Denver Post reports.

Reynolds couldn't practice Wednesday due to an Achilles injury that he dealt with Week 1. The veteran wideout managed to practice in full despite the Achilles issue leading up to Week 1, so his return to practice Thursday bodes well for the wideout's chances of being cleared to play Sunday versus Pittsburgh. During Denver's season-opening loss to the Seahawks, Reynolds secured five of eight targets for 45 yards.

  • Rome Odunze WR | CHI

Bears' Rome Odunze: No practice Thursday

Odunze (knee) was a non-participant at Thursday's practice.

Odunze emerged from Week 1 with an MCL sprain in his left knee, and while Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reported Monday that the rookie wide receiver was considered week-to-week, coach Matt Eberflus told Courtney Cronin of ESPN.com on Wednesday that he was day-to-day. Back-to-back DNPs to begin this week isn't a great sign for Odunze, but he at least has one more session this week to put himself in a position to play Sunday at Houston. With Keenan Allen (heel) also sitting out Wednesday and Thursday, DJ Moore is the clear-cut top healthy option at the position for the Bears, with DeAndre Carter, Velus Jones and Tyler Scott also in the same boat.

  • Keenan Allen WR | LAC

Bears' Keenan Allen: Misses practice Thursday

Allen (heel) didn't take part in Thursday's practice.

Allen was able to suit up Week 1 against the Titans after going limited, limited and full on the first three practice reports of the season due to a heel injury. He's kicked off this week with back-to-back absences, but coach Matt Eberflus said Wednesday that the veteran wide receiver was getting the day off for rest purposes, per Courtney Cronin of ESPN.com. Position mate Rome Odunze (knee) also hasn't practiced this week, so Friday's report may be telling for the duo's odds to suit up Sunday in Houston.

  • Robbie Chosen WR | WAS

Dolphins' Robbie Chosen: Elevated to active roster

The Dolphins elevated Chosen from the practice squad to the active roster ahead of Thursday night's divisional matchup against the Bills.

Chosen will be active for Thursday Night Football against Buffalo after having played 11 offensive snaps (zero targets) during Miami's win over the Jaguars in Week 1. With rookie sixth-round wideout Malik Washington (quadriceps) sidelined again, Chosen will have another opportunity to handle a depth role behind top wideouts Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle, plus No. 3 receiver Braxton Berrios.
