  • Charlie Jones WR | CIN

Bengals' Charlie Jones: Not involved in loss

Jones failed to record a single target in Sunday's 26-25 loss to the Chiefs.

Jones saw a decrease in playing time in Week 2, seeing the field for just two offensive snaps against the Chiefs after playing eight snaps in Week 1. With just 10 offensive snaps through the Bengals' first two contests, the second-year wideout should remain far off the fantasy radar going forward, especially with teammate Tee Higgins (hamstring) nearing a return to the field. The Bengals host the Commanders in Week 3.

  • Trenton Irwin WR | NYJ

Bengals' Trenton Irwin: Reels in one catch

Irwin caught one of his six targets for five yards in Sunday's 26-25 loss to the Chiefs.

Irwin remained involved in Cincinnati's offense in Week 2 with teammate Tee Higgins (hamstring) sidelined for the second-straight week. Though his six targets were the second-most of any Bengals pass catcher, the veteran wideout was unable to make the most of his opportunities. With Higgins trending in a positive direction, Irwin will likely see his share of targets dwindle as the season progresses. The 28-year-old will be extremely difficult to trust when the Bengals host the Commanders in Week 3.

  • Erik Ezukanma WR | JAC

    Erik Ezukanma: Tending to injury

Ezukanma (foot) is dealing with a foot injury, Omar Kelly of the Miami Herald reports.

Ezukanma is currently on the Dolphins' practice squad, and it's not clear when he suffered the injury or if he is still tending to the same foot injury he had during training camp. Miami currently only has four healthy wideouts on its roster and cut Robbie Chosen from the practice squad Tuesday, which could mean that Ezukanma, if healthy, could find his way to the 53-man roster soon.

  • Shedrick Jackson: Cut from practice squad

The Bengals waived Jackson from the practice squad Tuesday.

Jackson spent most of his rookie season on Cincinnati's practice squad after going undrafted out of Auburn in 2023. It's possible he could be a candidate to reunite with the Bengals in a similar capacity again as the 2024 campaign progresses.

  • Robbie Chosen WR | WAS

Robbie Chosen: Off of practice squad

The Dolphins cut Chosen from the practice squad Tuesday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.

Chosen was mistake-prone in his appearance during Miami's resounding loss to the Bills last Thursday, and it appears the team isn't interested in providing him further time to acclimate to the offense. The veteran's release could also be an indication that the team expects to get Malik Washington (oblique) back on the field Week 3 versus the Seahawks.

  • Shaquan Davis WR | PIT

Shaquan Davis: Time up on practice squad

Pittsburgh cut Davis from the practice squad Tuesday, Teresa Varley of the team's official site reports.

Davis inked with the Steelers' practice squad Sept. 10, but he'll now have to begin another search for a depth role around the league. The second-year pro out of South Carolina State is still looking for a chance to make his regular-season debut.

  • Jaelon Darden WR | SEA

Jaelon Darden: Inks with practice squad

The Browns signed Darden to the practice squad Tuesday.

Darden worked as Cleveland's top returner Week 1, and he now reunites with the team as a member of the practice squad. With wide receiver David Bell (hip) having suffered a season-ending hip injury, Darden could get an opportunity to bump up to the active roster and contribute as early as Sunday versus the Giants.

  • David Bell WR | CLE

Browns' David Bell: Officially placed on IR

The Browns placed Bell (hip) on injured reserve Tuesday.

Bell is slated to undergo season-ending surgery after dislocating his right hip in last Sunday's win over the Jaguars. The 2022 third-round pick's injury could open up more opportunity for Cedric Tillman and James Proche in Cleveland's wide receiver corps.

  • Jalen Reagor WR | LAC

Jalen Reagor: Cut from practice squad

The Patriots announced Tuesday that Reagor has been released from the practice squad.

Reagor suited up for 11 regular-season games with New England last year, but he'll now have to search for a depth role elsewhere in the league. The 2020 first-round pick has appeared in 56 total regular-season games in his career, split between the Eagles, Vikings and Patriots.

  • Ben Skowronek WR | PIT

    Ben Skowronek: Dealing with injury

Skowronek is dealing with shoulder soreness Tuesday, Alan Saunders of SteelersNow.com reports.

Skowronek has been elevated from the Steelers' practice squad each of the first two weeks of the season. However, that has mostly led to a special teams role, as he's only seen six snaps on offense. This injury could impact his role this Sunday against the Chargers and keep him on the practice squad, as Calvin Austin (undisclosed) and Roman Wilson (ankle) deal with injuries as well. Pittsburgh currently has Quez Watkins, Brandon Johnson and Shaquan Davis as options at receiver on their practice squad, too.
