  • Britain Covey WR | PHI

Eagles' Britain Covey: Ruled out Sunday

Covey (shoulder) won't return to Sunday's game in New Orleans, Olivia Reiner of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.

Covey thus will finish Week 3 with one catch (on one target) for 11 yards. With A.J. Brown (hamstring) inactive, DeVonta Smith, Jahan Dotson, Johnny Wilson and Parris Campbell are the current healthy wide receivers on the Eagles' active roster.

  • Seahawks' Laviska Shenault: Will play

Shenault (foot) is active Sunday against the Dolphins.

Shenault was a late addition to the Seahawks' injury report, sitting out Friday's practice with the injury. However, it won't stop the Colorado product from suiting up against Miami on Sunday. The 25-year-old has two catches on three targets for six yards on the season.

  • Dolphins' Malik Washington: Won't play Sunday

Washington (quadriceps) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Seahawks.

Washington, who was limited in all three of the Dolphins' practices this past week, approached the contest listed as doubtful. With Washington's NFL regular-season debut still on hold, Braxton Berrios is on hand to work as the team's No. 3 WR behind Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle, with practice-squad elevations Dee Eskridge and Erik Ezukanma also available as depth options versus Seattle.

  • Britain Covey WR | PHI

Eagles' Britain Covey: Injures shoulder Sunday

Covey suffered a shoulder injury during Sunday's game at New Orleans.

Covey took advantage of A.J. Brown's (hamstring) absence Week 2 against the Falcons, hauling in all six of his targets for 23 yards. However, he was targeted only once (an 11-yard catch) before exiting Sunday in the second quarter. Currently, DeVonta Smith, Jahan Dotson, Johnny Wilson and Parris Campbell are the healthy wide receivers on the Eagles' active roster.

  • Van Jefferson WR | WAS

Steelers' Van Jefferson: Exits Sunday's game

Jefferson exited Sunday's game against the Chargers due to an eye injury, Brooke Pryor of ESPN.com reports.

Prior to that, Jefferson hadn't been targeted in the contest. In his absence, George Pickens, Calvin Austin and Scotty Miller are available to handle the Steelers' WR duties, while the versatile Cordarrelle Patterson can also chip in on that front.

  • A.T. Perry WR | PIT

Saints' A.T. Perry: Sitting out Sunday

Perry (illness) is inactive Sunday against the Eagles.

Perry was considered a healthy scratch in Week 2, although he dealt with a hand injury earlier in the week. Now, after being limited during practice this week due to an illness, he'll be inactive once again. His next opportunity to play will be in Week 4 against the Falcons.

  • Bub Means WR | NO

    Saints' Bub Means: Healthy scratch

Means (coach's decision) is inactive Sunday against the Eagles.

Means was active for the team's first two games, playing just 12 total snaps on offense and seeing a single target he wasn't able to catch. His next opportunity to play will come in Week 4 against the Falcons.

  • Broncos' Devaughn Vele: Inactive for Week 3

Vele (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Buccaneers.

Vele caught all eight of his targets for 39 yards in the Broncos' Week 1 loss to the Seahawks, but he suffered a rib injury during that contest, which resulted in him being sidelined him for Week 2 against Pittsburgh. However, he returned to practice during Week 3 prep and didn't carry a designation into Sunday, but the Broncos may nonetheless want to give him more time to heal from the issue, which the rookie wideout told Chris Tomasson of The Denver Gazette was a fractured rib. With Vele unavailable versus Tampa Bay, Josh Reynolds, Lil'Jordan Humphrey, Troy Franklin and Marvin Mims will vie for snaps behind No. 1 wideout Courtland Sutton.

  • Roman Wilson WR | PIT

Steelers' Roman Wilson: Healthy inactive for Week 3

Wilson (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Chargers.

After missing the first two games of the season while recovering from an ankle injury sustained in training camp, Wilson didn't take an injury tag into the weekend after logging full practices Thursday and Friday. Though Wilson seems to be fully healthy at this point, the Steelers may want to see the rookie third-round pick put in some more practice time before clearing him to make his NFL debut. With Wilson sitting out Sunday, the Steelers will have four receivers (George Pickens, Van Jefferson, Calvin Austin and Scotty Miller) active for the contest.

  • Bears' Velus Jones: Healthy scratch again

Jones (coach's decision) is inactive Sunday against the Colts.

Jones was a healthy scratch in Week 2 as well, after suiting up for a minimal role in Week 1. He'll now work to have the opportunity to be on the field in Week 4 against the Rams.
