Marvin Harrison Jr. WR | ARI
Cardinals' Marvin Harrison: No concern about quad
Cardinals coach Jonathan Gannon said Friday that there's no concern about Harrison's quadriceps injury, Tyler Drake of ArizonaSports.com reports.
It sounds like Harrison will be fine for Sunday's game against the Commanders, following limited practice participation Wednesday and Thursday. He drew 19 targets and scored three touchdowns over the past two weeks, with repeated deep shots from Kyler Murray putting Harrison third in the league for air yards (368) this season. The rookie's 16.7 aDOT is fifth deepest in the league among players with double-digit targets, and it's No. 1 among the 32 players that have 20-plus targets.

A.J. Brown WR | PHI
Eagles' A.J. Brown: Returning to practice
Brown (hamstring) is stretching with his teammates and preparing to practice Friday, Jimmy Kempski of PhillyVoice.com reports.
The extent of Brown's participation and how he feels afterward will determine whether he's given a real chance to return for Sunday's game at Tampa Bay. It's his first practice since Sept. 13, when he initially injured his hamstring a few days before the Eagles' Week 2 contest. Fellow Eagles WR DeVonta Smith (concussion) seems to be absent again Friday, making him unlikely to play this Sunday in Tampa.

Tank Dell WR | HOU
Texans' Tank Dell: Not seen at practice
Dell (chest) wasn't spotted at practice Friday, DJ Bien-Aime of ESPN.com reports.
Dell also missed sessions Wednesday and Thursday, so his apparent absence Friday doesn't bode well for his chances of being available Sunday against the Jaguars. Houston's upcoming injury report will reveal whether Dell heads into the weekend with any chance of facing Jacksonville.

Diontae Johnson WR | CLE
Panthers' Diontae Johnson: Returns to practice
Johnson (groin) returned to practice Friday, Mike Kaye of The Charlotte Observer reports.
This supports the notion that Johnson was held out of Thursday's practice because the field was wet rather than on account of any real concern about his Week 4 availability. It remains to be seen if the Panthers give him an injury designation Friday afternoon on their final injury report for Sunday's game against the Bengals.

Deebo Samuel WR | WAS
49ers' Deebo Samuel: Real chance to play this week?
San Francisco GM John Lynch said Friday that Samuel (calf) has a chance to play Sunday against the Patriots, David Lombardi of the San Francisco Standard reports.
Initially expected to be out for two or three weeks, Samuel missed only one game before returning to practice Thursday as a limited participant. Lynch said Samuel has "hit all the markers" in his recovery, noting that "the best athletes seem to heal at a little better rate." Another absence still is the most likely outcome -- especially with the 49ers favored by more than a touchdown this week -- but there's at least a chance Samuel plays if things go well at practice Friday.

Jalen Tolbert WR | MIA
Cowboys' Jalen Tolbert: Three catches in win
Tolbert brought in all three targets for 24 yards in the Cowboys' 20-15 win over the Giants on Thursday night.
Tolbert was a distant third to CeeDee Lamb and Jake Ferguson in the pass-catching hierarchy, but he notably recorded two more receptions and eight more yards than No. 2 receiver Brandin Cooks. Tolbert now has more receptions and receiving yards than Cooks in three straight games, while the former's 17 targets over that span also notably outpace the latter's 12 in the same span. It remains to be seen if there will be any official depth chart swap between the two wideouts, but either way, Tolbert figures to have a modest but reliable role in a Week 5 road matchup against the Steelers on Sunday, Oct. 6.

Darius Slayton WR | NYG
Giants' Darius Slayton: Trio of grabs in loss
Slayton brought in three of five targets for 56 yards in the Giants' 20-15 loss to the Cowboys on Thursday night.
Slayton worked through a thumb injury during the short week to suit up Thursday, and he finished well behind the top duo of Malik Nabers (concussion) and Wan'Dale Robinson across his receiving line. However, the veteran wideout was able to make one of his signature chunk plays through the air, recording a 28-yard grab early in the second quarter on a drive that culminated in a Greg Joseph field goal. Slayton has a trio of three-catch tallies over his first four games, and if Nabers isn't able to clear concussion protocol for a Week 5 road matchup against the Seahawks on Sunday, Oct. 6, the former would be in line for an uptick in opportunity.
-
Wan'Dale Robinson WR | TEN
Giants' Wan'Dale Robinson: Extremely busy in loss
Robinson secured 11 of 14 targets for 71 yards in the Giants' 20-15 loss to the Cowboys on Thursday night.
Robinson finished second in receptions, receiving yards and targets to Malik Nabers (concussion) on the night, with all three figures also serving as season highs. The third-year pro's short-area role was as prominent as ever, although he was the intended target on a deep pass down the right sideline with 28 seconds remaining. Nabers should have a good chance of clearing concussion protocol in time for a Week 5 road matchup against the Seahawks on Sunday, Oct. 6, but Robinson would be poised to see even more work in that contest should his teammate sit out.

CeeDee Lamb WR | DAL
Cowboys' CeeDee Lamb: Paces pass catchers in win
Lamb secured seven of eight targets for 98 yards and a touchdown and rushed three times for eight yards in the Cowboys' 20-15 win over the Giants on Thursday night.
Lamb co-led the Cowboys in receptions and set the pace in both receiving yards and targets for the team on the night. The star wideout also recorded his second touchdown of the season on a 55-yard grab in the second quarter, a fitting antidote for any lingering tension there may have been between him and Dak Prescott stemming from a Week 3 sideline argument. Lamb still is on a quest for his first 100-yard game of the season, a benchmark he'll next have a chance of hitting in a Week 5 road battle against the Steelers on Sunday, Oct. 6.

Malik Nabers WR | NYG
Giants' Malik Nabers: Suffers concussion against Cowboys
Nabers suffered a concussion in the fourth quarter of Thursday's 20-15 loss to the Cowboys, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Nabers attempted to make a catch along the sideline on one of the Giants' final possessions of the game. He landed hard on the turf and was escorted to the locker room by the training staff. Prior to his exit, Nabers continued his impressive rookie season by tunring 15 targets into 12 catches for 115 yards.
