  • Mason Tipton WR | NO

Saints' Mason Tipton: Held catchless Week 9

Tipton failed to bring in any of his three targets during Sunday's 23-22 loss against Carolina.

Tipton played over 75.0 percent of offensive snaps for the third game in a row, and he was the only Saints wideout to play over 50.0 percent of these snaps. However, he still logged a paltry three targets despite an early exit for Saints' No. 1 wideout Chris Olave, who sustained a concussion in the first quarter. Instead, running back Alvin Kamara and do-it-all tight end Taysom Hill were the top two in targets with nine and five, respectively. Tipton tallied a season-high nine targets when Olave was ruled out ahead of the Week 7 loss to Denver, and it therefore stands to reason Tipton could be featured more if Olave is once again ruled out ahead of Sunday's game versus the Falcons.

  • Johnny Wilson WR | PHI

Eagles' Johnny Wilson: Sees more snaps but no targets

Wilson saw the field for 35 offensive snaps in Week 9 against the Jaguars but wasn't targeted a single time.

Wilson's role increased with A.J. Brown exiting with a knee injury just before halftime, but not to the point where Jalen Hurts ever actually looked his way. The rookie has just one catch for nine yards this season. With Brown looking like he'll have a chance to return without missing any time, Wilson's role may shrink again next week.

  • Jalen Reagor WR | LAC

Jalen Reagor: Reverts to practice squad

Reagor reverted to the Chargers' practice squad Monday, per the NFL's official transaction log.

The wide receiver played on 19 of 57 offensive snaps in the Chargers' 27-10 win over the Browns on Sunday. Reagor played on fewer snaps than Ladd McConkey (48), Quentin Johnston (39) and Joshua Palmer (35), though he did see more action than Simi Fehoko (nine snaps) and Derius Davis (two snaps) with DJ Chark out with a groin injury. Reagor caught one of his two targets for no gain in the game.

  • Elijah Cooks WR | NO

Elijah Cooks: Back to practice squad

Cooks reverted to the Jaguars' practice squad Monday, per the NFL's transaction log.

Cooks and fellow practice squad wideout Austin Trammell were each elevated for Week 9 for the first time of the 2024 regular season. While Trammell saw 33 snaps on offense, Cooks had just three and did not record a stat. With Christian Kirk (collarbone) out for the rest of the year, Cooks and Trammell could both be elevated for Week 10 against the Vikings, especially if Gabe Davis (shoulder) remains sidelined.

  • Austin Trammell: Reverts to practice squad

Trammell reverted to the Jaguars' practice squad Monday, per the NFL's transaction report.

Trammell was elevated from the practice squad to the active roster for the first time this season for Week 9 against the Eagles, and he finished the game with two catches (on three targets) for 40 yards. His 33 snaps on offense were third most among the Jags' wide receivers behind Brian Thomas (49) and Parker Washington (46). Trammell could be elevated for Week 10 against the Vikings if Gabe Davis continues to be sidelined due to a shoulder injury.

  • Mecole Hardman WR | BUF

Chiefs' Mecole Hardman: Questionable to return Monday night

Hardman (shoulder) is questionable to return to Monday's game against the Buccaneers.

The punt and kick returner was injured on a 30-yard punt return in the first quarter. Hardman did not record a catch before exiting. Carson Steele and Xavier Worthy are next in line to handle kickoff- and punt-return duties, respectively.

  • Kendric Pryor WR | CIN

Kendric Pryor: Returns to practice squad

Pryor reverted to the Bengals' practice squad Monday.

Pryor was elevated for the first time this season as Tee Higgins (quadriceps), Charlie Jones (groin) and Jermaine Burton (coach's decision) were all out. Pryor ended up hauling in his only target for nine yards in addition to returning two kicks for 43 yards during Sunday's win over the Raiders.

  • Deven Thompkins: Reverts to practice squad

Thompkins reverted to the Panthers' practice squad Monday, per the NFL's transaction log.

The wide receiver was elevated for Sunday's 23-22 win over the Saints and played on eight of 53 offensive snaps, recording one carry for minus-2 yards. David Moore (46 snaps), Xavier Legette (44 snaps), Jalen Coker (24 snaps) and Jonathan Mingo (15 snaps) all played more than Thompkins in the first game since Carolina traded Diontae Johnson and with Adam Thielen (hamstring) still on injured reserve. Thompkins caught 22 passes for 115 yards and a touchdown across 2022 and 2023 with Tampa Bay.

  • Jalen Virgil WR | BUF

Jalen Virgil: Reverts to practice squad

Virgil reverted to Buffalo's practice squad Monday.

Virgil was elevated ahead of Sunday's win over the Dolphins, as Amari Cooper (wrist) was unable to play. Virgil saw playing time on both offense and special teams but failed to record any stats.

  • Jahan Dotson WR | ATL

Eagles' Jahan Dotson: Catches one long pass

Dotson made a spectacular catch for a 36-yard gain on his only target early in the third quarter of Sunday's win over the Jaguars.

A.J. Brown left with a knee injury shortly before halftime, and Dotson received his one opportunity of the game shortly after the break, reaching over Tyson Campbell's back on a long pass down the left and tipping the ball up to himself to make the grab. Jalen Hurts didn't look Dotson's way again the rest of the game, however, and the receiver's workload may be limited again in Week 10 against the Cowboys if Brown's injury proves minor. Brown's tests came back clean after the game and he appears to have a real chance to return without missing any time, but that's not yet guaranteed.
