Josh Oliver TE | MIN
Vikings' Josh Oliver: Limited to open week
Oliver (ankle) was a limited participant at practice Wednesday.
Oliver was able to play through an ankle injury in the team's 22-6 Week 2 loss to the Falcons, so his ability to practice in any capacity Wednesday seems to suggest he'll be good to go for Week 3. The tight end will have two more chances to be a full participant at practice before Sunday's contest against the Bengals.

John Bates TE | WAS
Commanders' John Bates: Misses practice
Bates (groin) did not practice Wednesday.
Bates was injured in the first half of last Thursday night's loss to the Packers, and coach Dan Quinn said Monday that Bates is a "long shot" to play in Week 3 against the Raiders. Ben Sinnott and Colson Yankoff are next up at tight end behind starter Zach Ertz.

Brock Bowers TE | LV
Raiders' Brock Bowers: Limited at practice Wednesday
Bowers (knee) was limited at practice Wednesday, Vincent Bonsignore of the Las Vegas Review-Journal reports.
Bowers was listed as questionable ahead of Monday's 20-9 loss to the Chargers, but he was able to suit up and handle a 77 percent snap share while catching five of his eight targets for 38 yards. With no reported setbacks in the contest, there's a solid chance that Bowers' listed limitations Wednesday were maintenance-related.

Hunter Long TE | JAC
Jaguars' Hunter Long: Pops up on injury report
Long (ankle) did not practice Wednesday.
Long has played primarily on special teams through two weeks of the season, and he handled a normal allotment of snaps in Week 2. As a result, it's unclear when he suffered the injury, though he'll have the chance to get on the field twice more before Jacksonville takes on the Texans in Week 3.
-
Dallas Goedert TE | PHI
Eagles' Dallas Goedert: Officially limited Wednesday
Goedert (knee) was limited at Wednesday's practice.
Goedert got back on the practice field for the first time since spraining his knee during a Week 1 win against the Cowboys. Speaking about the injury, Goedert told Andrew DiCecco of InsideTheBirds.com on Wednesday that he sustained it on a third-down catch early in the second half when he took a hit to the outside of his knee. Goedert will have two more chances this week to increase his activity level before the Eagles potentially make a ruling on his status for Sunday's game versus the Rams.
-
Evan Engram TE | DEN
Broncos' Evan Engram: Misses practice with back issue
Engram missed practice Wednesday due to a back injury.
Engram managed a calf issue prior to Week 2 action, but he approached this past Sunday's 29-28 loss to the Colts without an injury designation before recording 25 of a possible 58 snaps on offense. Now that he's dealing with a new injury concern, the tight end's status will now need to be monitored as this weekend's contest against the Chargers approaches. If Engram ends up limited or out, added Week 3 opportunities would be available for Adam Trautman, as well as Nate Adkins and Lucas Krull to a lesser degree.
-
Will Dissly TE | LAC
Chargers' Will Dissly: Misses practice with knee injury
Dissly (knee) didn't practice Wednesday.
He played 40 percent of snaps on offense in Monday's 20-9 win over the Raiders, catching his lone target for a gain of seven yards. Tyler Conklin would be in line for more snaps and routes if Dissly were to miss Sunday's matchup with the Broncos.

Evan Engram TE | DEN
Broncos' Evan Engram: Misses practice Wednesday
Broncos head coach Sean Payton said Wednesday that Engram (undisclosed) did not practice, Zac Stevens of TheDNVR.com reports.
Payton declined to comment on the nature of Engram's injury. The veteran tight end was forced out early during Denver's win over the Titans in Week 1 due to a calf injury, but he was able to gain full clearance in time to return Week 2 against the Colts. Engram has, however, failed to play 50 percent in either of the Broncos' two games so far this season, and he's totaled just two catches for 33 yards on four targets thus far. Even if Engram manages to gain full clearance in time for Sunday's matchup against the Chargers, fantasy managers may want to search elsewhere for options at the tight end position.
-
Brayden Willis TE | SF
49ers' Brayden Willis: Bumps to active roster
The 49ers signed Willis to the active roster from the practice squad Wednesday.
Willis takes the roster spot of Ben Bartch, whom San Francisco placed on IR on Wednesday. With George Kittle (hamstring) also on IR until at least Week 6, Willis is positioned to contribute in a reserve role at tight end versus the Cardinals on Sunday and beyond.
-
Tyler Warren TE | IND
Colts' Tyler Warren: Doesn't practice Wednesday
Warren (toe) didn't practice Wednesday.
Warren logged a 93 percent snap share in Sunday's 29-28 win over the Broncos, but the tight end's absence from Wednesday's practice makes his status worth monitoring as this weekend's game against the Titans approaches. Through his first two regular-season games, the 2025 first rounder has combined for 11 catches (on 16 targets) for 155 yards.
