Washington (knee) was a non-participant at the Steelers' practice Wednesday, Teresa Varley of the team's official website reports.

Washington appears to have left Monday's 26-22 win over the Browns a little worse for wear, opening the week on the sidelines at practice. The tight end still has two more practices this week to return to the field prior to Sunday night's matchup with the Raiders.

Dissly didn't take part in Wednesday's practice due to a shoulder injury, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports.

Dissly has been a regular part of Seattle's passing game this season, gathering in all five targets for 52 yards through two games while earning snap shares of 30 percent Week 1 and 55 percent Week 2. With a shoulder injury in tow, his status will be one to monitor as the week goes to get a sense of his availability for Sunday's game versus the Panthers. Fellow tight end Noah Fant (ribs) also showed up on Wednesday's injury report, but he was listed as a full participant.

The Seahawks signed Russell off of the Eagles' practice squad Wednesday.

The undrafted rookie spent the offseason in Philly and caught five passes for 50 yards and one touchdown during the preseason. He'll be roster depth behind Noah Fant, Will Dissly (shoulder) and Colby Parkinson in Seattle.

Moreau didn't practice Wednesday due to an ankle injury, Luke Johnson of the New Orleans Times-Picayune reports.

Moreau is nursing the injury two days after recording two catches for 20 yards in the Saints' 20-17 win over the Panthers on Monday. He'll have two more opportunities to get back on the practice field in some capacity before the Saints' Week 3 game Sunday in Green Bay.

Horsted played all 14 of his snaps on special teams in Sunday's 38-10 loss to the Bills.

Horsted has dressed for both of the Raiders' first two games but has yet to see any work on offense. He remains the clear No. 3 tight end on the depth chart behind Austin Hooper and Michael Mayer.

Bell went without a target across 14 snaps on offense in Sunday's 17-9 win over the Jaguars.

Bell logged 25 snaps on offense and cashed in with two catches for 12 yards and a touchdown in the Chiefs' season-opening loss to the Lions, but as expected, his opportunities took a hit Week 2 with top tight end Travis Kelce (knee) returning to the lineup. The 32-year-old remains the clear third option on the depth chart behind Kelce and Noah Gray.

Wilcox went without a target across two snaps on offense in Sunday's 27-24 loss to the Ravens.

Wilcox has been active for both of the Bengals' first two games, but he's seen most of his work on special teams rather than at tight end. He's logged just nine snaps on offense compared to 35 on special teams and will continue to operate as Cincinnati's clear No. 3 tight end while both Irv Smith and Drew Sample are available.

Sample went without a target across 13 snaps on offense Sunday in the Bengals' 27-24 loss to the Ravens.

Sample has now logged 31 snaps on offense through the first two weeks of the season but has yet to draw a look in the passing game from quarterback Joe Burrow. So long as Irv Smith stays healthy, he'll be entrenched as Cincinnati's top tight end and will continue to dominate the snaps and targets among the position group.

McKitty went without a target while playing three of his 14 total snaps on offense in the Chargers' 27-24 overtime loss to the Titans on Sunday.

McKitty might be the best blocker among the four tight ends on the Chargers' 53-man roster, but his prowess in that regard hasn't earned him much work thus far. He's played just eight snaps on offense through the first two weeks, placing McKitty well behind Gerald Everett (79), Donald Parham (67) and Stone Smartt (26).

Thomas (concussion) isn't practicing Wednesday, Nicki Jhabvala of The Washington Post reports.

Thomas entered the concussion protocol late in the second quarter of Sunday's 35-33 win over Denver after safety Kareem Jackson was ejected for hitting him in the helmet at the end of a touchdown catch. Thomas is dealing with his first documented concussion since entering the NFL in 2014, but he's still uncertain to be fully cleared ahead of Sunday's matchup with Buffalo. Both John Bates and Cole Turner picked up more playing time once Thomas exited this past Sunday's game, with Bates recording a career-high 46 receiving yards even as Turner took many of the snaps in clear passing situations.
