Mason Taylor TE | NYJ
Jets' Mason Taylor: Post season highs on MNF
Taylor had five receptions (on seven targets) for 65 yards in Monday's 27-21 loss to the Dolphins.
This was Taylor's finest game through four starts this season after he finished as the Jets' second-leading receiver behind Garrett Wilson. The 21-year-old Taylor has seen his target share increase on a weekly basis, finally culminating in a stat line that fantasy managers can get excited about. Perhaps Taylor can maintain this level of involvement against the Cowboys on Sunday as the Jets desperately search for a reliable No. 2 receiving option behind Wilson.

Carter Runyon TE | LV
Carter Runyon: Returns to practice squad
Runyon reverted to the Raiders' practice squad Monday, per the NFL's official transaction log.
Runyon was elevated to the active roster ahead of Sunday's 25-24 loss to the Bears, failing to record any stats while playing 15 snaps on special teams. The tight end did not handle any offensive snaps, with Ian Thomas serving as the top backup option behind starter Brock Bowers. If Michael Mayer (concussion) is unavailable again in Week 5, Runyon could return to the active roster before the team's matchup with the Colts.

Albert Okwuegbunam TE | LV
Albert Okwuegbunam: Returns to practice squad
Okwuegbunam reverted to the Raiders' practice squad Monday, per the NFL's transaction log.
Okwuegbunam was elevated to the Raiders' practice squad to provide depth after Michael Mayer was ruled out with a concussion. Although Okwuegbunam was active for the game, he did not play a single snap as Brock Bowers and Ian Thomas handled all the snaps on offense. Okwuegbunam is eligible to be elevated to the active roster two more times this season.

Quintin Morris TE | JAC
Quintin Morris: Back with practice squad
Morris reverted to the Jaguars' practice squad Monday, per the NFL's official transaction log.
Morris was elevated to the active roster ahead of Sunday's 26-21 win over the 49ers, failing to record any stats while playing three snaps on offense. Additionally, the tight end added one tackle on kickoff coverage while playing 21 snaps on special teams. Morris has now exhausted his three elevations, and he'd have to be signed to the active roster in order to play again this season.

Stephen Carlson TE | CHI
Stephen Carlson: Reverts to practice squad
Carlson reverted to the Bears' practice squad Monday, per the NFL's transaction log.
Carlson made his 2025 regular-season debut in the Bears' Week 4 win over the Raiders due to the absence of Colston Loveland (hip). Carlson played a total of 15 snaps (10 on offense, five on special teams) without otherwise showing up on the box score. Loveland will have additional time to recover from his injury thanks to the Week 5 bye, so Carlson will likely remain on the practice squad for the Bears' Week 6 clash against the Commanders on Monday, Oct. 13.

Lucas Krull TE | DEN
Broncos' Lucas Krull: Inactive with Engram back
Krull (coach's decision) is inactive for Monday night's game against the Bengals.
With Evan Engram (back) returning to the lineup, Krull is the odd man out at tight end for Denver.

Tyler Higbee TE | LAR
Rams' Tyler Higbee: Listed as DNP to begin week
Higbee (hip) was listed as a non-participant on Monday's estimated injury report, Adam Grosbard of The Orange County Register reports.
After being limited last Thursday due to a hip injury and following it up with a DNP on Friday, Higbee entered the weekend as questionable. He was active Sunday against the Colts and paced Rams tight ends with a 55 percent snap share, ahead of Davis Allen's 29 percent and Colby Parkinson's 28 percent. Overall, Higbee gathered in two of five targets for 25 yards, with Parkinson (2-17-0 on two targets) and Allen (1-0-0 on one target) not far behind him in terms of production. With another DNP under his belt to begin Week 5 prep, Higbee's status is up in the air ahead of Thursday's game versus the 49ers.

Irv Smith TE | HOU
Irv Smith: Released from IR
The Texans released Smith (ankle) from injured reserve Monday.
Smith was injured during the preseason and sent to injured reserve. The veteran tight end will now have a chance to look for an opportunity elsewhere.
-
Foster Moreau TE | NO
Saints' Foster Moreau: Set to return to practice
Head coach Kellen Moore said Monday that Moreau (knee) will have his practice window to return from the reserve/PUP list opened this week, Mike Triplett of NewOrleans.Football reports.
Moreau is in the final stages of his recovery from a knee injury that he sustained in Week 18 of the 2024 regular season. He has been on the PUP list since the start of training camp in July, but the 2019 fourth-rounder has progressed enough in his recovery to return to practice. Once Moreau's practice window opens, the Saints will have 21 days to activate him from the PUP list. If he's not activated within that 21-day window, then he would revert to injured reserve and be forced to miss the rest of the 2025 season.

Tyler Conklin TE | LAC
Chargers' Tyler Conklin: Falling out of favor
Conklin caught his only target for three yards in the 21-18 loss to the Giants on Sunday.
Despite Los Angeles losing another offensive lineman in Joe Alt (ankle) early, Conklin only played 12 offensive snaps, one fewer than Tucker Fisk, and significantly less than Oronde Gadsden (30). It appears that the rookie seems to have overtaken both veterans as the team's preferred move tight end, but that has come in the absence of Will Dissly, who has missed the past two games with a knee injury.
