The Bills cut Zylstra on Saturday.

Zylstra signed a one-year deal with the Bills in May. The tight end's first stint away from the Lions, where he spent the first four years of his career, will end without a 53-man roster spot. The 29-year-old played in all three preseason games, catching four of his eight targets for 33 yards. Zylstra will now be subject to waivers through Sunday's cutdown day and into Monday. If the tight end remains unclaimed through Monday, he will become a free agent able to sign with any franchise's 53-man roster or practice squad.

Kacmarek (undisclosed) is considered week-to-week as of Saturday, Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald reports.

Kacmarek did not play in Friday night's preseason finale against the Falcons. The rookie third-rounder played in the first two preseason games for the Dolphins, catching his sole target for three yards. The tight end is set to be the No. 2 option behind Greg Dulcich once the former regains his health.

The Panthers waived Prieskorn on Saturday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

Prieskorn signed with the Panthers in late July before the commencement of training camp. The second-year tight end out of Ole Miss has yet to play in an NFL regular-season game. Prieskorn will now be subject to waivers through Monday. If the 26-year-old goes unclaimed, he will become a free agent able to sign with any team's 53-man roster or practice squad.

The Raiders waived Gurd on Saturday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

Gurd signed with the Raiders in early May as an undrafted free agent out of Cincinnati. The tight end was being converted to fullback for the Raiders' 2026 season but ultimately will be unable to make the final cut. If Gurd remains unclaimed through Sunday's cutdown day waiver process, he will become a free agent Monday. There is a good chance the 24-year-old ends up on the Raiders' practice squad if he clears waivers.

The Dolphins waived Connor on Saturday, Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald reports.

Conner signed with the Dolphins last Monday after being waived by the Jaguars. The undrafted free agent out of Troy did not record any box score stats throughout the 2026 preseason. Connor will now be subject to waivers through Monday, and if he goes unclaimed will become a free agent able to sign with any team's 53-man roster or practice squad.

The Buccaneers waived Fletcher on Saturday, Greg Auman of Fox Sports reports.

Fletcher signed with the Buccaneers in early May as an undrafted free agent out of Rutgers. The tight end played just eight offensive snaps in Friday night's preseason finale against the Jaguars, receiving no targets in the contest. Fletcher will remain on waivers through Monday due to Sunday's cutdown day. If the 22-year-old goes unclaimed, he will become a free agent able to sign with any franchise's 53-man roster or practice squad.

Cuevas caught both his targets for 15 yards in Friday's 41-3 preseason win over the Commanders.

Veterans Mark Andrews and Durham Smythe once again were kept off the field, leaving Cuevas and fellow rookie Matthew Hibner to handle most of the tight-end duties. Cuevas, a fifth-round pick out of Alabama, caught Tyler Huntley's first pass of the night before connecting with Joe Fagnano for a short gain in the second quarter. Neither young TE stood out in the exhibition finale, and their battle for the No. 3 spot on the depth chart could extend into the regular season.

Hibner caught two of three targets for 11 yards in Friday's 41-3 preseason win over the Commanders.

Eight different Ravens caught multiple passes in the rout as neither team used their starters, and Hibner worked with the first-team offense, catching one pass from Tyler Huntley and another from Joe Fagnano. Hibner, a fourth-round rookie out of SMU, is fighting for snaps and targets at tight end behind veterans Mark Andrews and Durham Smythe, with his main competition being fellow first-year player Josh Cuevas.

Joly secured both targets for 95 yards and a touchdown in the Broncos' 34-6 preseason win over the Vikings on Friday.

The rookie fifth-round pick flashed his speed on an 88-yard touchdown grab in the fourth quarter, a play on which Joly motored the final 50 yards to the end zone after getting wide open in the middle of the field. Joly finished preseason with a 5-105-1 line over three games, and his big-play upside could help him progressively carve out more opportunity behind Evan Engram and Adam Trautman as the regular season unfolds.

Arroyo secured his only target for a 24-yard reception in the Seahawks' 9-9 preseason tie with the Chiefs on Friday.

The second-year tight end had recorded a 36-yard touchdown grab in Sunday's exhibition against the Titans, and Arroyo followed that up with another big play Friday on his 24-yard grab during Seattle's second possession. Arroyo is expected to operate as the No. 2 pass-catching option at tight end behind AJ Barner, but veteran Eric Saubert is expected to see his fair share of snaps as well thanks to his blocking prowess.
