  • Titans' Chig Okonkwo: Questionable after Friday 'DNP'

Okonkwo (abdomen) is listed as questionable for Sunday's season finale against the Texans after not practicing Friday, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.

Okonkwo was added to the Titans' Week 18 injury report after logging a limited practice Thursday, and in the wake of being deemed a non-participant Friday, he'll head into the weekend with his status up in the air. If Okonkwo is limited at all or ruled out for the team's 1:00 p.m. ET kickoff, Nick Vannett, Josh Whyle and David Martin-Robinson would be in line to handle added tight end reps Week 18.

  • Cade Otton TE | TB

Buccaneers' Cade Otton: Doubtful for Sunday

Otton (knee) is listed as doubtful for Sunday's game against the Saints.

Otton was a limited practice participant Thursday and Friday but apparently didn't show enough for the Bucs to be confident in his Week 18 availability. The good news for Tampa Bay is that fellow tight ends Payne Durham (quadriceps) and Devin Culp (ribs) both made enough progress throughout the week to avoid injury designations. Durham figures to start and get the most snaps, with Culp subbing in some for passing situations.

  • Hunter Henry TE | NE

Patriots' Hunter Henry: Questionable for Week 18

Henry (foot) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game versus the Bills, Doug Kyed of the Boston Herald reports.

Henry was limited in practice during the entirety of Week 18 prep, thus leaving his status in flux heading into the weekend. With a 1:00 p.m. ET kickoff on tap Sunday, his status will be confirmed about 90 minutes before that point. Having said that, even if he's available, Henry could cede some TE reps to Austin Hooper or perhaps even rookie seventh-round pick Jaheim Bell.

  • David Njoku TE | CLE

Browns' David Njoku: Placed on IR

Njoku (knee) has been placed on IR by the Browns.

Njoku already was ruled out for the Browns' season finale, so the tight end now will focus on moving past the knee injury that also sidelined him Week 17. When he was available, Njoku was a viable fantasy option in 2024, having recorded a 64-505-5 line on 97 targets through 11 games played. The 28-year-old is under contract with Cleveland in 2025 and thus is slated to reprise his starting role for the team next season.

  • Brady Russell RB | SEA

Seahawks' Brady Russell: Done for 2024

The Seahawks placed Russell (foot) on injured reserve Thursday, John Boyle of the team's official site reports.

Russell missed Seattle's last three games due to a foot injury, and his placement on injured reserve will rule him out for Sunday's regular-season finale against the Rams. The 26-year-old tight end mostly played on special teams this season and failed to record a catch across 11 games.

  • Princeton Fant TE | DAL

Cowboys' Princeton Fant: Past calf injury

Fant (calf) was a full participant in Thursday's practice, Joe Hoyt of AllDLLS.com reports.

Fant was unable to play in Week 17 against the Eagles due to a calf injury. He was limited in Wednesday's walkthrough, but his ability to practice in full Thursday indicates that he is on track to play in Sunday's regular-season finale against the Commanders.

  • Charlie Kolar TE | LAC

Ravens' Charlie Kolar: Questionable for Week 18

Kolar (forearm) is listed as questionable for Saturday's game against Cleveland.

Kolar was designated to return from injured reserve Tuesday, and he's been a full participant in practice all week. If he's activated off IR ahead of Saturday's regular-season finale, he would serve as the Ravens' No. 3 tight end behind Mark Andrews and Isaiah Likely. Prior to his forearm injury, Kolar registered nine catches (on 11 targets) for 131 yards and one touchdown across 12 games.

  • 49ers' George Kittle: Logs limited practice Thursday

Kittle (ankle/hamstring) was limited at practice Thursday, Matt Maiocco of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.

One day removed from not practicing due to ankle and hamstring issues, Kittle was back on the field, albeit with a cap on his reps. The 49ers may tag the tight end with an injury designation once they post their final Week 18 injury report Friday, but if he's ultimately able to suit up Sunday at Arizona, he'll be working with Joshua Dobbs under center instead of typical No. 1 option Brock Purdy, who is dealing a contusion and nerve inflammation in his right throwing elbow.

  • Payne Durham TE | TB

Buccaneers' Payne Durham: Limited in practice Thursday

Durham (quadricep) was a limited participant in Thursday's practice.

Durham and fellow tight end Cade Otton (knee) have followed the same pattern of practice activity to begin Week 18, with both following up absences Wednesday with limited sessions Thursday. Otton has missed the Buccaneers' past two games, but if he can maintain limited activity or upgrade to full participation Friday, he could have a good chance at making it back for Sunday's regular-season finale versus the Saints. If both Otton and Durham are cleared to play, Durham would likely fade back into a secondary role at tight end after playing more than three quarters of the offensive snaps in both of the past two contests while producing a 7-65-1 receiving line on 10 targets.

  • Saints' Juwan Johnson: Stays limited Thursday

Johnson (knee) practiced on a limited basis Thursday.

Johnson maintained his activity level from one day prior, giving him just one more opportunity to return to full participation Friday, or else risk heading into the weekend with a designation ahead of Sunday's contest at Tampa Bay. He's been splitting TE reps with Foster Moreau over the last four games since Taysom Hill was lost for the season due to a torn ACL, and Johnson has compiled a 14-155-1 line on 20 targets during that span.
