Bibbs (knee) cleared waivers and landed on the Redskins' injured reserve Sunday, Nora Princiotti of The Washington Times reports.

As expected, Bibbs landed on the IR after being waived with an injury tag. The injury had little to do with his exit, however, as he was not a strong candidate to make it through final cuts regardless. If he's unable to reach an injury settlement with the team, he will spend the entire season on injured reserve.

Kelce (calf) was limited at practice Monday, the Chiefs' official site reports.

So far there's nothing to suggest that Kelce's status for Thursday night's season opener against the Patriots is in any jeopardy, a notion supported by the fact that the tight end was able to work at all Monday, albeit in a limited fashion. With veteran wideout Jeremy Maclin no longer in the mix, we'd expect Kelce and Tyreek Hill to remain QB Alex Smith's top pass-catching targets, with both players liable to soak up some extra volume on that front.

The Cowboys placed Gathers (concussion) on injured reserve Monday, Rob Phillips of the team's official site reports.

Gathers has been embedded in the concussion protocol since mid-August and will now miss at least the first eight weeks of the regular season. Once he's cleared to practice, he'll continue to hone his craft at tight end, more as a potential replacement for Jason Witten in the long term than anything. In the meantime, James Hanna and Geoff Swaim will operate as the Cowboys' reserve tight ends.

Allen (undisclosed) reverted to injured reserve Sunday.

Even at full strength, Allen likely wasn't going to work his way onto the first-team offense in Houston. The Southern University product will have the chance to earn his keep next year with whoever takes a go at him.

Pantale was released by the Dolphins on Saturday, Adam Beasley of the Miami Herald reports.

Pantale couldn't beat out MarQueis Gray and thus was sent packing. He has bounced around the NFL over the past few seasons and is likely to continue to do so should he want to extend his NFL career.

Hodges (head) was waived/injured by the Vikings on Sunday, Field Yates of ESPN reports.

Hodges, who appears to be going through concussion protocol, was waived to make room for the signing of tight end Blake Bell. He'll likely end up on the team's injured reserve after clearing waivers.

Paulsen will re-sign with the 49ers after being released by the team on Saturday, Eric Branch of The San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Paulsen was waived in order to create a roster spot for defensive tackle Xavier Cooper, but with fellow tackle Rondald Blair headed for injured reserve, San Francisco temporality has another roster spot open. Paulsen is expected to serve as the team's primary backup tight end for 2017.

Bell was claimed by the Vikings on Sunday, Matt Maiocco of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.

A recent string of injuries led the Vikings in search of another tight end. Kyle Rudolph (leg) should be fine for the season opener, but Bell provides the team with an emergency body should he be needed.

Hill was claimed off waivers by the Saints on Sunday, Herbie Teope of the New Orleans Times-Picayune reports.

Hill had an impressive preseason in Green Bay, completing 14 of his 20 passes for 149 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions. He also showed he could be a mobile quarterback with 10 rushes for 71 yards and a touchdown, but he did fumbled the ball twice. Despite this, the Packers simply refused to waste a roster spot on a third-string quarterback. Drew Brees is still aging well for the Saints, but Hill could be seen as a project to become the next quarterback in New Orleans.

Hollister has secured a spot on the Patriots' 53-man roster, CSN New England reports.

The player he beat out to make the team, fellow tight end James O'Shaughnessy, was claimed by the Jaguars, so unless the Patriots counter with another move at the position, then the undrafted Hollister has landed a spot with the team thanks to a strong preseason. He's clearly behind both Rob Gronkowski and Dwayne Allen on the Patriots' depth chart, but Hollister's veteran counterparts have had injury woes in the past, so the Wyoming product could enter the fantasy equation down the road with a break or two in his favor.
