Henry (knee) will be on the PUP list to start the season, Field Yates of ESPN reports.

Henry tore an ACL on May 22 and is an extreme long shot to play this season, but the Chargers aren't quite ready to shut the door on the possibility. There's a good chance he's moved to injured reserve at some point, as even a deep playoff run would put him at just eight months removed from the initial injury. The Chargers are left with one of the weaker TE groups in the league, led by offseason acquisition Virgil Green.

Gathers made the Cowboys' 53-man roster, Jon Machota of The Dallas Morning News reports.

Gathers emerged from the preseason with 10 catches (on 13 targets) for 83 yards, finally fulfilling some of the potential that's been promised. He threw a wrench into his potential to make the team, though, with Friday's arrest for marijuana possession. While he was able to post bond Saturday morning, the question remained whether Gathers would make the roster. Indeed, he has, but he may be subject to the NFL's personal conduct policy with the transgression.

Daniels was traded to the Seahawks from the Colts on Saturday in exchange for wide receiver Marcus Johnson, Mike Chappell of Fox 59 News Indianapolis reports.

The two teams both addressed relative areas of weakness, giving Daniels a shot to stick around on an NFL roster early in the season. He'll still be low on the depth chart and could be expandable in the coming weeks.

Robinson (undisclosed) was waived/injured by the Texans on Saturday, Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle

Robinson was activated off the PUP list in mid-August, and by that point, his chances of making the Texans' final roster were essentially gone. Robinson will likely revert to Houston's injured reserve once he clears waivers.

The Lions cut Lucas on Saturday, Michael Rothstein of ESPN.com reports.

Lucas entered the NFL in 2014 but has yet to suit up for a game. He should be seen as a practice squad candidate.

Engram (concussion) is expected to be healthy for Week 1 against the Jaguars, Jordan Raanan of ESPN.com reports.

Engram picked up the concussion in preseason Week 3 and was held out of the Giants' exhibition final Thursday. His progression through the protocol allowed him to get in some work on a side field this past week, but a return to practice in advance of Week 1 would pave the way for an appearance. His first chance to do so will be Wednesday, when the Giants' first injury report of the season will be posted.

Gathers was arrested Friday night in Frisco, Texas for marijuana possession, Brandon George of The Dallas Morning News reports.

Owner Jerry Jones hinted Friday that Gathers would likely land a spot on the 53-man roster, but those comments were made before legal woes came to light. With cuts due by 4 PM ET, the Cowboys will have an interesting decision on their hands with a tight end that hasn't been able to put it all together in his transition from college basketball player to the NFL.

Manhertz (foot) passed his physical Friday and was removed form the PUP list, Bill Voth of the Panthers' official website reports.

Manhertz has been sidelined since injuring his foot during an offseason minicamp. He is expected to provide depth at tight end behind Greg Olsen and Ian Thomas, while also aiding special teams. The 26-year-old should not be targeted in the fantasy realm unless injuries occur ahead of him.

Escobar was released by the Dolphins on Friday, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.

Escobar played in just two games for Baltimore last season and was competing for a depth role with the Dolphins. The five-year veteran will look to catch on with another club in 2018.

Goedert is projected to see more playing time with Alshon Jeffery (shoulder) likely to miss two weeks, Jimmy Kempski of PhillyVoice.com reports.

The rookie has done nothing but impress this offseason and will get additional chances to show how "pro-ready" he is in the early going, thanks to the Eagles' banged-up receiving corps. Like most of the Philadelphia regulars, he was held out of the final preseason game Thursday in order to assure health for Week 1 at Atlanta. With Richard Rodgers (knee) also recovering from injury, the 23-year-old has an excellent chance at some targets in the seasons' opening weeks.
