Seahawks' Elijah Arroyo: Additional testing upcoming

Arroyo (knee) will undergo more imaging in the near future to determine the severity of his injury, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports.

Arroyo suffered a knee injury in the first half of the team's victory, ultimately failing to return to action. The rookie could be set to miss action moving forward, and if that's the case, Nick Kallerup would be a top candidate to operate as the top reserve option at tight end behind AJ Barner.

Commanders' Zach Ertz: ACL tear feared

Coach Dan Quinn noted after Sunday's 31-0 loss to the Vikings that Ertz is feared to have torn his ACL, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

Ertz is destined to undergo further testing to determine the extent of his knee injury, but it looks like the tight end is probably facing an extended absence. If that's the case, the Commanders would turn to John Bates, Ben Sinnott and Colson Yankoff to handle their TE duties down the stretch.

Browns' David Njoku: Hurts knee on TD catch

Njoku injured his knee during Sunday's contest against the Titans, Chris Easterling of the Akron Beacon Journal reports.

Per the report, Njoku sustained the injury on a one-yard touchdown catch with 14:24 remaining in the second quarter. Njoku then went directly to the locker room, and while he subsequently returned to the sideline, the tight end didn't immediately return to the game, per Scott Petrak of the Elyria Chronicle-Telegram. Look for added context once the Browns provide injury updates after Sunday's game, but it's worth noting that Njoku was managing a knee issue during practice this past week.

This appears to be a potentially serious injury, but for the time being he'll finish Week 14 with one catch (on two targets) for 11 yards.

  • Steelers' Darnell Washington: Won't return Sunday

Washington (concussion) won't return to Sunday's game against the Ravens. Burt Lauten of the Steelers' official site reports.

Washington, who caught his only target in the contest for 12 yards, will thus target a potential return to action Dec. 15 against the Dolphins. Jonnu Smith, Pat Freiermuth and Connor Heyward are left to handle Pittsburgh's TE duties for the remainder of Week 14 action.

Seahawks' Elijah Arroyo: Exits with knee injury

Arroyo (knee) is questionable to return to Sunday's game against the Falcons.
