Jerome Ford RB | WAS
Browns' Jerome Ford: Pair of receiving TDs in win
Ford rushed 12 times for 64 yards and secured two of three targets for 57 yards and two touchdowns in the Browns' 37-20 win over the Jets on Thursday night. He also recovered a fumble.
Ford found consistent room against a Jets defense that has been spotty against the run all season, but his biggest contributions came through the air. He got the scoring on the night started with a seven-yard touchdown grab in the first quarter, and he followed it up with an impressive 50-yard catch and run that saw him power his way into the end zone with 1:25 remaining in the first half. The second-year back's rushing yardage total was his best since Week 12, while his receiving yardage tally qualified as a season high. Ford figures to continue playing a key role in Cleveland's upcoming playoff appearances, and it remains to be seen how much time he'll log in a Week 18 regular-season finale against the Bengals on Sunday, Jan. 7.

Jordan Mason RB | MIN
49ers' Jordan Mason: Misses practice due to illness
Mason (illness) did not practice Thursday, Nick Wagoner of ESPN.com reports.
Mason wasn't on San Francisco's injury report for the first day of Week 17 prep, so he appears to have come down with an illness late Wednesday or early Thursday. The second-year running back was limited to special-teams work last Monday against Baltimore after logging nine carries for 40 yards and a touchdown over his previous two games. Elijah Mitchell (knee) is expected to return from a three-game absence Sunday versus the Commanders, so Mason could again see limited -- if any -- work on offense in that contest.

Kenneth Walker III RB | KC
Seahawks' Kenneth Walker: Sits out another practice
Walker (shoulder/illness) officially didn't practice Thursday, Curtis Crabtree of Fox 13 Seattle reports.
Walker was present but not participating during the portion of Thursday's session open to the media, and he indeed went down as a DNP for a second consecutive day. If he follows last week's practice regimen, he'll be listed as limited Friday and questionable for Sunday's game versus the Steelers, but there's the added roadblock of an illness that he's dealing with this time around, so his status for Week 17 is up in the air at the moment.

Emanuel Wilson RB | SEA
Packers' Emanuel Wilson: Full participant again
Wilson (shoulder) was a full participant in practice Thursday after being a full participant in Wednesday's walkthrough as well.
The depth running back was designated to return from injured reserve Dec. 20 and practiced last week before sitting out of the Packers' win over the Panthers. Now, Wilson appears to be trending toward returning for Green Bay's Week 17 matchup with Minnesota. The rookie has 14 carries for 85 yards and no touchdowns on 33 offensive snaps this season.
-
Nick Bawden RB | HOU
Jets' Nick Bawden: Elevated for Thursday Night Football
The Jets elevated Bawden from their practice squad ahead of Thursday's game versus Cleveland, Ethan Greenberg of the team's official site reports.
Bawden has been on the Jets' active roster for most of the campaign, though he was released, signed to the practice squad, elevated and made inactive prior to last Sunday's win over Washington. Thursday's elevation thus counts as his second of the campaign, and he'll be eligible to be elevated once more after this week. Bawden has worked primarily on special teams this season, though he has also logged 100 offensive snaps, producing two carries for four yards and a touchdown along with two catches on two targets for 13 yards over 14 games.

Israel Abanikanda RB | DAL
Jets' Israel Abanikanda: Available Thursday vs. CLE
Abanikanda (ankle) is active to face the Browns on Thursday Night Football.
Abanikanda was limited throughout Week 17 prep, but he will be able to suit up against Cleveland on Thursday. The rookie running back logged a season-high nine carries for 43 yards against Washington last Sunday, and he appears to have surpassed Dalvin Cook on the depth chart. Abanikanda could thus handle around a handful of carries while working behind Breece Hall on Thursday.

Kenneth Walker III RB | KC
Seahawks' Kenneth Walker: Not practicing Thursday
Walker (shoulder/illness) wasn't taking part in the part of Thursday's practice open to the media, Gregg Bell of The Tacoma News Tribune reports.
Walker was present, though, as he deals with a shoulder injury for a second week in a row and also an illness that was listed on Wednesday's practice report. If he goes down as a non-participant for a second straight day -- as he did last week -- he'll have one more chance to mix into drills this time around before the Seahawks potentially hand him a designation ahead of Sunday's game against the Steelers. Walker was able to play in a Week 16 win at Tennessee on his way to 56 yards from scrimmage on 17 touches and a 58 percent snap share, while No. 2 running back Zach Charbonnet had three touches for minus-4 yards on the other 42 percent of plays.

Najee Harris RB | LAC
Steelers' Najee Harris: Upgrades to limited activity
Harris (knee) was a limited practice participant Thursday, Teresa Varley of the Steelers' official site reports.
The Steelers are managing Harris' practice reps after he tied a season high with 19 carries (for 78 yards and a touchdown) in this past Saturday's 34-11 win over the Bengals. After sitting out Wednesday's session, Harris took a step forward in terms of activity Thursday and still appears in good shape to play through his lingering knee concern in this Sunday's game in Seattle. He may need to put in a full practice Friday to avoid carrying an injury designation into the weekend, however.

Hunter Luepke RB | DAL
Cowboys' Hunter Luepke: Cleared to play Saturday
Luepke (thigh) doesn't have an injury designation for Saturday's game versus Detroit, Jon Machota of The Athletic reports.
Luepke began Week 17 prep labeled as limited in Dallas' walkthrough due to a thigh injury, but he's been able to practice in full each of the two subsequent days. As such, he should be able to suit up Saturday against the Lions. Cowboys backup running back Rico Dowdle (ankle) has been ruled out for that contest, leaving Luepke and Deuce Vaughn as the remaining healthy ball carriers behind starter Tony Pollard. Practice-squad member Malik Davis is also an option, though he'd need to be signed to the active roster to suit up since he's already been elevated three times this season. Whether or not that happens, there appears to be a path for Luepke to see more than his usual allotment of work on offense versus Detroit.

Brian Robinson Jr. RB | ATL
Commanders' Brian Robinson: Another limited session
Robinson (hamstring) was limited at practice Thursday.
With back-to-back capped sessions in his back pocket this week, Robinson may be closing in on his first game action since Week 13, when he initially injured his hamstring. The Commanders may be anticipating Robinson being active Sunday against the 49ers after placing fellow running back Chris Rodriguez (ankle) on injured reserve Thursday. In the end, Friday's practice report will be the first opportunity for the team to clear Robinson for Week 17 action, but he may be a better bet to receive an injury designation for this weekend's contest.
