Alvin Kamara RB | NO
Saints' Alvin Kamara: Officially limited Thursday
Kamara (hip/ribs) practiced in a limited fashion Thursday, John Hendrix of SI.com reports.
Kamara didn't take part in Wednesday's session due to a hip pointer and a rib injury, but the absence may have been maintenance-related after he handled 29 touches during the Saints' Week 3 loss to the Eagles. He thus will have one more chance to get back to full participation Friday before the team potentially marks him with a designation for Sunday's contest in Atlanta.

Najee Harris RB | LAC
Steelers' Najee Harris: Ready for Week 4 contest
Harris, who was rested Wednesday, returned to a full practice Thursday, Teresa Varley of the Steelers' official site reports.
Harris was spotted wearing a sling around his right arm/elbow in the Steelers' locker room Monday, but after getting a maintenance day Wednesday and then practicing fully Thursday, the running back evidently doesn't carry any injury concerns ahead of Sunday's game against the Colts. The same can't been said for Jaylen Warren (knee), who missed his second straight session, and thus looks iffy for Week 4 at this stage. If Warren is unavailable this weekend, Cordarrelle Patterson would be in line to pick up added complementary snaps behind Harris, with Jonathan Ward and Aaron Shampklin candidates to be elevated from Pittsburgh's practice squad.

Bijan Robinson RB | ATL
Falcons' Bijan Robinson: Dealing with shoulder issue
Robinson was limited at Thursday's practice due to a shoulder injury, Tori McElhaney of the Falcons' official site reports.
Robinson wasn't included on Atlanta's first Week 4 practice report Wednesday, so his status in the midst of preparations for Sunday's game against the Saints has become clouded. Friday's session likely will be key for the second-year pro to enter the weekend without a designation. Through three contests this season, Robinson has averaged 4.1 yards on his 48 carries, hauled in 11 of 12 targets for 89 yards and scored one rushing touchdown.

Pierre Strong Jr. RB | GB
Browns' Pierre Strong: Logs another DNP
Strong (hamstring) did not practice Thursday, Daniel Oyefusi of ESPN.com reports.
Strong still hasn't stepped on the field since suffering the injury in Week 2. He'll likely need to return to practice Friday to have any chance of suiting up Sunday against the Raiders, but even then he may be leaning closer to doubtful for the matchup.
-
Jerome Ford RB | WAS
Browns' Jerome Ford: Returns to practice Thursday
Ford (knee) is participating at practice Thursday, Daniel Oyefusi of ESPN.com reports.
Ford didn't practice Wednesday, but he's participating in at least a limited capacity Thursday. He played a season-high 83 percent of offensive snaps during Cleveland's loss to the Giants in Week 3, rushing 10 times for 37 yards and securing three of four targets for 33 yards, and it was at no point reported that Ford had to leave the game due to injury. That could be an indication that Ford's absence Wednesday was only due to a minor issue or for rest purposes. Assuming he's good to go, Ford will be in position to again lead the Browns' backfield versus the Raiders on Sunday.

Alvin Kamara RB | NO
Saints' Alvin Kamara: Returns to practice Thursday
Kamara (hip/ribs) took part in Thursday's practice, John Hendrix of SI.com reports.
The Saints held Kamara out of Wednesday's session due to a rib injury and a hip pointer, so his return to drills one day later implies he's made a measure of progress in his recovery. Thursday's practice report ultimately will reveal his activity level, but there's been no indication that New Orleans' No. 1 RB is in danger of missing Sunday's game in Atlanta.
-
Jaylen Warren RB | PIT
Steelers' Jaylen Warren: Sitting out another practice
Warren (knee) isn't participating in Thursday's practice, Alan Saunders of SteelersNow.com reports.
Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin hasn't closed the door on Warren playing Sunday in Indianapolis, but with consecutive absences from practice to begin Week 4 prep, the running back appears to be trending toward missing his first game of the season. Meanwhile, Najee Harris was back on the field Thursday after a rest day Wednesday and appears positioned to take on a higher volume of the snaps and touches out of the backfield Sunday versus the Colts if Warren is in fact inactive for the contest.
-
Dameon Pierce RB | PHI
Texans' Dameon Pierce: Making progress, still no practice
Pierce (hamstring) is not practicing Thursday but the Texans are increasingly optimistic about his recovery progress, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Pierce hasn't yet been cleared to resume practicing and has now missed two sessions this week, but Houston's coaching staff appears to be optimistic that the third-year pro will return to action soon. With Joe Mixon (ankle) also still sidelined, things could be trending toward Cam Akers getting another chance to start Sunday versus the Jaguars. Pierce will have one more chance to get on the practice field before receiving a game designation for Week 4.
-
Joe Mixon RB | HOU
Texans' Joe Mixon: Still not practicing
Mixon (ankle) remained sidelined at practice Thursday, DJ Bien-Aime of ESPN.com reports.
Dameon Pierce (hamstring) also remained sidelined at practice, leaving both running backs in danger of sitting out again Sunday against the Jaguars. The Texans will wait and see if Mixon is able to get back on the practice field in some fashion Friday, but if not, he'll likely be ruled out for a second consecutive game. Cam Akers would once again be in line to lead Houston's backfield in Week 4 if Mixon and Pierce are sidelined.

Keaontay Ingram RB | KC
Keaontay Ingram: Back to practice squad
The Chiefs re-signed Ingram to the practice squad Thursday, Matt Derrick of ChiefsDigest.com reports.
Ingram was waived by Kansas City on Tuesday to make room for veteran running back Kareem Hunt on the 53-man roster. After having just played five snaps on special teams during the Chiefs' win over the Falcons in Week 3 despite Isiah Pacheco (fibula) being on injured reserve, Ingram will now resume handling an emergency depth role for the team.
