Carlos Washington: Cut by Atlanta
The Falcons waived Washington on Tuesday, Marc Raimondi of ESPN.com reports.

Jashaun Corbin RB | NE
Jashaun Corbin: Waived by Atlanta
The Falcons waived Corbin on Tuesday, Marc Raimondi of ESPN.com reports.
Corbin logged 66 offensive snaps this preseason, finishing with 18 carries for 59 yards across three exhibitions. Corbin last appeared in a regular-season game back in 2023, when he produced one rushing yard on one attempt and caught three passes for 12 yards across six contests with the Giants.

Jonathan Ward RB | NE
Jonathan Ward: Dumped by G-Men
The Giants released Ward on Tuesday, Dan Duggan of The Athletic reports.
Ward rushed 13 times for 47 yards and caught seven passes for 80 yards and two touchdowns during the preseason. The 27-year-old could be a candidate to join the practice squad in New York.

Dante Miller RB | NYG
Dante Miller: Waived by G-Men
The Giants waived Miller on Tuesday, Dan Duggan of The Athletic reports.
Miller appeared in two regular-season games for the G-Men last season but didn't record a touch on offense. This preseason, however, Miller was one of the most productive running backs across the league, rushing 26 times for 80 yards while adding 14 catches for 135 yards on 14 targets. Miller will be a candidate to rejoin the Giants' practice squad if he clears waivers.

Raheem Blackshear RB | NYJ
Raheem Blackshear: Let go from Carolina
The Panthers waived Blackshear (ankle) with an injury settlement Tuesday, Joe Person of The Athletic reports.
Blackshear appeared in 16 regular-season games for the Panthers last season, rushing 15 times for 80 yards as a deep reserve. He also returned 17 punts for 145 yards and 31 kickoffs for 791 yards. The Panthers are currently rolling with Chuba Hubbard, Rico Dowdle and rookie Trevor Etienne in their backfield. Jonathon Brooks (knee) is expected to miss the 2025 campaign.

Nate Noel RB | IND
Nate Noel: Waived by Indy
Noel was waived by Indianapolis on Thursday, the Indianapolis Star reports.
Noel rushed seven times for 63 yards in the preseason finale, so he has a chance to return on the practice squad.

Blake Watson RB | TEN
Broncos' Blake Watson: Set to be let go
Watson (knee) is in line to be waived after reaching an injury settlement with the Broncos, Zac Stevens of TheDNVR.com reports.
Watson suffered a PCL strain in the team's preseason finale against the Saints on Saturday, and he will now be let go instead of being placed on injured reserve. The running back will rehab the injury and attempt to pass a physical and sign elsewhere in 2025.

Max Hurleman RB | PIT
Max Hurleman: Let go by Pittsburgh
The Steelers waived Hurleman on Monday, Teresa Varley of the team's official site reports.
Hurleman had a nice showing in the Steelers' preseason opener against the Jaguars on Aug. 9, finishing with two catches (on four targets) for 29 yards and a touchdown. He wasn't able to replicate that performance across the Steelers' final two exhibition games and didn't show enough in training camp to crack the 53-man roster. Assuming he clears waivers, the undrafted free agent out of Notre Dame will look to join a team in need of depth at wide receiver, though he could be invited back by the Steelers to join the team's practice squad.
-
Lew Nichols RB | PIT
Lew Nichols: Doesn't make 53-man roster
The Steelers waived Nichols on Monday, Teresa Varley of the team's official site reports.
The 2023 seventh-rounder caught on with the Steelers in late July after being let go by the Eagles. He finished the preseason with 11 carries for 87 yards and five catches (on eight targets) for 36 yards. Nichols' efforts weren't enough to crack the 53-man roster, and he'll have the opportunity to sign with a team in need of backfield depth if he clears waivers.
