Several Jets backs contribute to upset defeat of Steelers

Dolphins RBs struggle against tough matchup, with another looming
With Lamar Miller dealing with a shoulder injury, the Dolphins got little out of their running game in a 20-16 loss to the Lions in Week 10.
Miller, the team's usual No. 1 back, was able to carry the ball just four times, while adding just one reception for -4 yards. With Miller limited, the Dolphins turned to Damien Williams and Daniel Thomas , and didn't really get much out of either. Thomas finished with just 14 yards on five carries with a fumble, and barely looks like a competent fill-in for Miller.
Williams was a bit more impressive, rushing for 34 yards to lead the team on seven carries, while adding three receptions for 27 yards. With just a few days off before the team's next game against the Bills in Week 11 Thursday, Williams might be the top option again if Miller can't get to 100-percent.
If Miller's injury lingers but not enough to keep him out of action, the team might go with a split yet again this Thursday. However, the Bills are allowing the third-fewest Fantasy points to opposing running backs this season, so it might be another long day for the Dolphins running backs in Week 11.
