Buccaneers running backs Charles Sims and Bobby Rainey totaled 40 rushing yards and 8 receiving yards during a 27-7 win Week 11 at Washington.

Rainey drew the start in place of the injured Doug Martin (knee) Sunday, but it was Sims who got most of the carries out of the backfield. He had a team-high 36 rushing yards on 13 carries. Rainey had just 4 yards on five carries.

In the passing game, Sims was targeted four times, totaling three catches for 8 yards. Rainey had no catches and one target.

The Bucs are back in action Week 12 at Chicago.

With the Broncos forced to throw Sunday against the host Rams, running back C.J. Anderson racked up bigger numbers through the air than on the ground.

That's not saying much - he only rushed nine times for 29 yards. But he tied for the team lead with 10 targets and caught eight for 86 yards. He really picked it up in the second half with six receptions for 62 yards.

Anderson, whose starting job seems secure with Montee Ball and Ronnie Hillman struggling with injuries, will seek more balance next Sunday against the visiting Dolphins.

Seahawks backup runners Robert Turbin and Christine Michael didn't do much Week 11 against the Chiefs.

Turbin gained 11 yards on four carries. Michael received one carry, but lost 2 yards on the play. Both players will take on the Cardinals Week 12.

Vikings wideout Cordarrelle Patterson gained just 24 yards Week 11 against the Bears.

Patterson caught two passes. He was targeted just three times. Despite the poor game, Patterson finished second on the team in receiving. He also got one rushing attempt, gaining 3 yards on the play.

Patterson will look for more Week 11 against the Packers. 

The Vikings backup rushers didn't do much Week 11 against the Bears.

Free safety Andrew Sendejo actually did make a difference, leading the team in rushing. He gained 48 yards on a fake punt. It was his only rush of the game. 

Jerome Felton got one carry, gaining 3 yards. Matt Asiata also had one carry, but gained 2 yards. Asiata also had three receptions for 12 yards.

They'll look for more Week 12 against the Packers. 

Vikings running back Jerick McKinnon gained just 38 yards Week 11 against the Bears.

McKinnon's carries were limited, as he only got the ball eight times. The Vikings only had 16 rushes all game, so McKinnon wasn't a big part of the game plan. He did manage to make up some value in the passing game, catching four passes for 20 yards. 

McKinnon will look for more Week 12 against the Packers. 

Cardinals running back Andre Ellington (foot, hip) is active as expected for Sunday's game against the Lions. Also suiting up for Arizona are linebacker Lorenzo Alexander (knee), safety Deone Bucannon (quadriceps), running back Stepfan Taylor (calf) and nose tackle Dan Williams (elbow).

The Cardinals declared guard Earl Watford, tight end Darren Fells, linebackers Desmond Bishop (hamstring) and Glenn Carson, defensive tackle Ed Stinson (toe), defensive end Josh Mauro and running back Kerwynn Williams inactive for Sunday's game against the Lions.

Chargers running back Ryan Mathews is active as expected for Sunday's Week 11 matchup with the Raiders. Mathews will be playing for the first time since Week 2 due to a knee injury.

A superior practice week, which has been the criteria Browns coaches have used all season in doling out playing time, has resulted in Isaiah Crowell earning the start Sunday against Houston, according to several in the local media.

Crowell had been benched earlier in the year due to weaker practice sessions.

Former Texans standout Ben Tate and Terrance West are still expected to receive significant reps in Week 11.
