  • Bhayshul Tuten RB | JAC

Jaguars' Bhayshul Tuten: Limited by shoulder injury

Tuten was limited in practice Wednesday due to a shoulder injury.

Participation at the start of the week, even in a limited capacity, suggests Tuten has a good chance to play Sunday against the Texans. He impressed in a Week 2 loss at Cincinnati, taking 10 touches for 74 yards and a touchdown while playing 26 percent of Jacksonville's snaps on offense.

  • Kalel Mullings RB | TEN

Titans' Kalel Mullings: Limited on Wednesday

Mullings (ankle) was limited in Wednesday's practice, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.

Mullings was injured in the Titans' Week 1 opener against the Broncos and missed last Sunday's loss to the Rams. With Tyjae Spears (ankle, IR) injured right now, Mullings is the Titans' RB3 behind Tony Pollard and Julius Chestnut.

  • Tyler Goodson RB | ATL

Colts' Tyler Goodson: Gets in full practice

Goodson (elbow) was a full participant in Wednesday's practice.

Goodson has missed each of the Colts' first two games of the season but appears to be closing in on a return. It remains to be seen if Goodson will cut into Jonathan Taylor's playing time on passing downs.

  • Commanders' Jeremy McNichols: Listed as limited

McNichols was a limited practice participant Wednesday due to a hamstring injury.

McNichols wasn't listed on the injury report last week, when he took 20 percent of snaps but finished without a touch in a 27-18 loss to the Packers on Thursday. Fellow running back Austin Ekeler suffered an Achilles tear in the fourth quarter, opening up room for McNichols to get more work moving forward, though likely as part of a three-man backfield with Jacory Croskey-Merritt and Chris Rodriguez. A hamstring injury could complicate things, but McNichols still has a few more chances to practice in full before Sunday's matchup with the Raiders.

  • Josh Jacobs RB | GB

Packers' Josh Jacobs: Tending to ankle issue

Jacobs was limited in practice Wednesday due to an ankle injury, Matt Schneidman of The Athletic reports.

The Packers' ground game has struggled to get going through two contests, but Jacobs still has churned out 150 yards and two touchdowns on 42 carries while hauling in his only target for four yards. Coming off nearly a week of rest since last Thursday's win against the Commanders, though, Jacobs wasn't able to handle a full allotment of reps Wednesday as Green Bay prepares for Sunday's contest at Cleveland.

  • D'Andre Swift RB | CHI

Bears' D'Andre Swift: Dealing with quad concern

Swift practiced in a limited capacity Wednesday due to a quadriceps injury.

Swift has kicked off the 2025 season in his typical role as the Bears' No. 1 running back, turning 29 carries into 116 yards (4.0 YPC) and one touchdown and six catches (on eight targets) into 18 yards through two contests. Meanwhile, rookie seventh-round pick Kyle Monangai has combined for nine touches in that same span. With an injury now in tow, though, Swift's status will be one to watch as the week goes on to ensure he'll be out there Sunday against the Cowboys.

  • Jordan Mason RB | MIN

Vikings' Jordan Mason: Primed for large workloads

Mason is taking over as Minnesota's unquestioned lead back with Aaron Jones (hamstring) going to injured reserve and missing at least four games.

With No. 3 RB Ty Chandler (knee) already on IR, the Vikings are left with Mason and Zavier Scott as their only running backs on the active roster. The team figures to promote Cam Akers or Xazavian Valladay from the practice squad before Sunday's game against Cincinnati, but that shouldn't stop Mason from taking on a large workload against a vulnerable defense in a game featuring two backup quarterbacks. Vikings coach Kevin O'Connell told reporters Wednesday that Mason is a "potential bell-cow kind of back."

  • Giants' Tyrone Tracy: Dealing with chest issue

Tracy was limited at Wednesday's practice due to a calf injury, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.

After handling a 74 percent snap share during a Week 1 loss at Washington, Tracy fell all the way back to 42 percent in Sunday's loss in Dallas, while rookie Cam Skattebo jumped from 12 percent in the season opener to 52 percent Week 2. The result: Tracy recorded nine touches for 51 yards from scrimmage, and Skattebo had 13 touches for 59 total yards Sunday. Tracy's dip in usage may have been attributed to a health concern, and now his status will be one to monitor ahead of a Week 3 matchup with the Chiefs.

  • Jaylen Wright RB | MIA

Dolphins' Jaylen Wright: Cleared to suit up Thursday

Wright (knee) does not carry an injury designation for Thursday's game against the Bills, Marcel Louis-Jacques of ESPN.com reports.

Wright will make his regular-season debut versus Buffalo on Thursday, joining Ollie Gordon as a depth backfield option behind starter De'Von Achane. Through two weeks this season Achane has maintained a dominant workload out of the backfield, though his production has mostly come through the air with Miami's defense having surrendered early leads and limited the team's ability to lean on the run. If the Dolphins face a similar game script versus the Bills consistent rushing opportunities will again be hard to come by, potentially leaving few reserve carries available to Wright and Gordon.

  • Aaron Jones RB | MIN

Vikings' Aaron Jones: Officially lands on IR

The Vikings placed Jones (hamstring) on injured reserve Wednesday.

Jones will miss at least four games while recovering from his hamstring injury, making his earliest tentative return date Week 8 against the Chargers on Oct. 23, due to the timing of Minnesota's bye in Week 6. That positions Jordan Mason to take over the Vikings' backfield in a workhorse capacity, beginning Sunday versus the Bengals. Minnesota also has Zavier Scott available as backfield depth, and the team inked Cam Akers to the practice squad Wednesday.
