  • Ryan Mathews RB | PHI

Eagles' Ryan Mathews: Still in concussion protocol

Mathews (concussion) didn't practice Monday and remains in the NFL's concussion protocol, Zach Berman of the Philadelphia Inquirer reports.

Mathews will likely miss a second straight game, though a Tuesday return to practice might give him a shot to suit up. Kenjon Barner got seven carries in Mathews' absence during Sunday's loss to Tampa Bay, but DeMarco Murray and Darren Sproles might be the real beneficiaries in a game that's competitive.

Eagles' Ryan Mathews: Not at practice

Mathews (concussion) isn't practicing Monday, CSN Philly reports.

With the Eagles facing a short turnaround ahead of a Thanksgiving game in Detroit, Mathews -- who remains in the NFL's concussion protocol -- seems likely to miss a second straight contest. Kenjon Barner got seven carries in Mathews' absence on Sunday, but the increased involvement was partially related to the blowout nature of the game.

  • Bobby Rainey RB | BAL

Buccaneers' Bobby Rainey: Posts five scrimmage yards and 39 return yards in Week 11

Rainey gained five yards on his sole carry, netted 20 yards on his sole kickoff return and amassed 19 yards on three punt returns in Sunday's 45-17 victory over the Eagles.

Rainey received only his third carry of the season in a blowout game in which Tampa set a team record for most rushing yards in a game. He also had another productive day on returns, notching a 10-yard punt runback and also had a 23-yard return called back due to a penalty on Major Wright. Notably, the fourth-year pro also fumbled for the third consecutive week, although as has been the case the previous two games, he was able to recover. Rainey's value continues to be exclusively based on his special teams role.

  • Rams' Benny Cunningham: Doesn't do much with backup role

Cunningham rushed for no yards on one carry and caught one pass for 20 yards in Sunday's 16-13 loss to the Ravens.

With Tre Mason inactive for the game, one would have expected Cunningham to see a few more looks. Sunday's game, however, appears to be around Cunningham's ceiling, getting a touch or two a game.

  • Texans' Jonathan Grimes: Season-high yardage in win

Grimes rushed for a season-high 37 yards on six carries and caught all three of his targets for 28 yards in Sunday's win over the Jets.

The 65 yards gained from scrimmage were also a season high for Grimes. He generally shares the backup duties with Chris Polk, but Polk was inactive for this game due to a hamstring injury.

  • Akeem Hunt RB | KC

Texans' Akeem Hunt: Makes NFL debut

Hunt had two carries for four yards in Sunday's 24-17 win over the Jets.

Hunt was promoted from the Texans' practice squad over the weekend to fill in for Chris Polk, who was inactive due to a hamstring injury.

  • Cowboys' Darren McFadden: Workhorse performance in win over Miami

McFadden carried 29 times for 129 yards and caught all three of his targets for 20 yards in Sunday's win over the Dolphins.

In the return of Tony Romo, it was McFadden who carried the load on offense, setting a new season-high in total touches. The veteran stands to benefit from Romo's return, as teams will no longer be able to stack the box now that Dallas' down-the-field potential has returned. McFadden has now touched the ball at least 20 times in each of the last five games, and he has clearly established himself as the workhorse out of the backfield for as long as he remains healthy. The Cowboys will face a quick turnaround, with the Panthers coming to town on Thanksgiving.

  • Thomas Rawls RB | JAC

Seahawks' Thomas Rawls: Monster game against the 49ers

Rawls scored two touchdowns, ran for a career-high 209 yards on 30 carries and caught all three of his targets for 46 yards in Sunday's 29-13 win over the 49ers.

Filling in for an inactive Marshawn Lynch (abdomen), Rawls looked powerful and explosive the entire game, ripping off a bunch of chunk plays, including an impressive 31-yard touchdown reception in the fourth quarter. The undrafted rookie RB has looked fantastic in games in which Lynch has sat this season, making a case to see more touches, even when Beast Mode is healthy. If Lynch isn't ready next week, Rawls might not be able to duplicate Sunday's performance against a solid Steelers' rush defense, but he'd obviously be a must start.

  • Ameer Abdullah RB | JAC

Lions' Ameer Abdullah: Rushes for 44 yards against Oakland

Abdullah carried the ball 12 times for 44 yards in Sunday's win over the Raiders. He added a two-yard reception during the game.

After collecting just seven touches in his past two games combined, Abdullah tallied his third largest share of touches of the season on Sunday. He was unable to do much with them, however, as he was held under four yards per carry for the eigth time in 10 games this season and failed to top 50 total yards for the eighth time in nine games. Despite Sunday's 109 team rushing yards, the Lions boast the NFL's worst running offense and with limited effective options outside of Abdullah, expect the Lions to see what they have in the rookie by having him continue to lead the way in carries.

  • Shaun Draughn RB | NYG

49ers' Shaun Draughn: 77 yards from scrimmage

Draughn ran 12 times for 37 yards and caught eight of 11 targets for 40 yards in Sunday's 29-13 loss at Seattle.

Draughn had a career-high 58 rushing yards in San Francisco's Week 9 win over the Falcons, but he found less room to operate Sunday. He did easily lead the team in touches, however, as no other running back carried the ball. Expect Draughn to continue to see a decent amount of work in the 49ers' backfield until Carlos Hyde (foot) is able to return, and next up will be the Cardinals in Week 12.
