Melvin Gordon RB | BAL
Chargers' Melvin Gordon: Expected to play in Week 3
Head coach Anthony Lynn said Friday that Gordon (knee) is expected to suit up Sunday against the Chiefs, Eric D. Williams of ESPN.com reports.
Gordon logged limited practices Thursday and Friday due to a sore knee, clouding his potential to play in Week 3. While Lynn seemingly erased any concerns with his comment, his status will receive clarification in advance of Sunday's 4:25 p.m. ET kickoff.

Melvin Gordon RB | BAL
Chargers' Melvin Gordon: Questionable for Week 3
Gordon (knee) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Chiefs.
A late-week addition to the injury report, Gordon managed limited practices Thursday and Friday due to an undisclosed knee injury. Neither Gordon nor head coach Anthony Lynn have touched on the running back's health, so it's unclear if his status is truly in peril this weekend. With the Chargers slated for a 4:25 p.m. ET kickoff, Gordon could be a precarious play Sunday. An absence would push Branden Oliver and Aaron Ekeler into prominent roles out of the backfield.

Derrick Henry RB | BAL
Titans' Derrick Henry: Poised for lead-back duty
Henry will be the Titans' featured back Sunday versus the Seahawks if DeMarco Murray (hamstring) is unable to go, Jason Wolf of The Tennessean reports.
Murray is officially listed as questionable, but with just one limited practice under his belt this week, he's looking like an iffy prospect to suit up Sunday. An active Murray may not receive much run, either, so Henry is poised for rare lead-back duties. On the season, Henry is averaging 5.8 YPC, which forecasts nicely against a Seahawks defense that has conceded 5.6 YPC itself to running backs through two contests.

Rob Kelley RB | NO
Redskins' Rob Kelley: Expects to play through pain
Kelley (ribs) expects to be available for Sunday's game against the Raiders, but he's still in some pain and may wear a protective vest, Stephen Czarda of the Redskins' official site reports.
Dealing with a rib cartilage injury, Kelley was limited throughout the week of practice after exiting in the second quarter of last week's 27-20 win over the Rams. It sounds as if he'll give it a go this Sunday, but he may not be as effective as usual and will be at risk of aggravating the injury. Keeping that in mind, Redskins coach Jay Gruden may get Samaje Perine and Chris Thompson more involved in an effort to lighten Kelley's workload.

Damien Williams RB | ARI
Dolphins' Damien Williams: Listed as questionable this week, but expected to play
While he was listed as a full practice participant Friday, the Dolphins also list Williams (ribs) as questionable for Sunday's game against the Jets, Adam H. Beasley of the Miami Herald reports.
The running back is, however, on track to suit up this weekend, as is starter Jay Ajayi, who is also listed as questionable after practicing fully Friday. As Ajayi's top backup, his is a name to know, but given the team's inclination to feature Ajayi heavily as long as he's healthy, Williams isn't anything more than a roster stash at this stage.

Rob Kelley RB | NO
Redskins' Rob Kelley: Listed as questionable
Kelley (ribs) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against Oakland.
A limited participant the previous two days, Kelley was back on the practice field Friday, though the extent of his involvement isn't quite clear. While the 230-pound back seems to be on the right track, Redskins coach Jay Gruden said Monday that Kelley likely will have to deal with significant pain if he plays through the rib cartilage injury. The Redskins could have Samaje Perine handle more early-down work even though the rookie needed 21 carries to accumulate 67 yards in a 27-20 win over the Rams in Week 2. Early-season star Chris Thompson could also get more involved, particularly if the Redskins end up trailing.

Matt Jones RB | WAS
Colts' Matt Jones: Will be added to active roster
The Colts will promote Jones from their practice squad to the active roster, Zak Keefer of The Indianapolis Star reports.
With Marlon Mack out this week, Jones will provide the Colts with backfield depth behind Frank Gore and Robert Turbin. While Jones, who started for Washington in 2015 and 2016, is not a high-percentage lineup option in Week 3, his snap and touch counts will be worth monitoring in his debut with his new team.
-
Terrance West RB | BAL
Ravens' Terrance West: Questionable for London game
West (calf) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Jaguars.
West missed practice Wednesday and Thursday, but his return as a full participant Friday suggests he has a good chance to play in Sunday's game. He draws a tough matchup with a solid Jacksonville front seven, and Javorius Allen could handle the lead role even if West doesn't have any limitations. Allen is a far superior pass catcher who has also been more efficient than West on the ground.

Ezekiel Elliott RB | LAC
Cowboys' Ezekiel Elliott: Remains on track to play
Elliott remains on track to play in Monday's game against the Cardinals, Clarence Hill Jr. of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports.
When asked about Elliott's status Friday morning, NFL spokesman Joe Lockhart did not guarantee that Elliott would play in Week 3, but he also indicated Elliott would be able to take the field unless the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit issues a ruling on the league's appeal prior to Sunday. It seems unlikely that will occur, so fantasy owners should plan on having Elliott available for Week 3.
