Rodgers rushed once for two yards and brought in his only target for nine yards in Sunday's 30-27 loss to the Bills.

Rodgers continues to play a minuscule role in the offense, as he logged just two snaps Sunday. Meanwhile, backfield mates Doug Martin (43 snaps) and Charles Sims (24 snaps) saw considerably more opportunity, and even Peyton Barber (three snaps) narrowly outpaced him. Rodgers has just seven combined carries in the past three contests, rendering him a fantasy non-factor for the time being.

Patterson caught one of three targets for nine yards during Thursday's 31-30 win over the Chiefs.

Patterson was on the field for just 18 of 82 offensive plays for the Raiders in Week 7, while No. 3 receiver Seth Roberts logged a season-high 72 snaps. Patterson was also kept without a rushing attempt for just the second time this year, despite the ejection of starting running back Marshawn Lynch. Lynch will remain sidelined in Week 8 against the Bills due to a one-game suspension (subject to appeal), though Patterson's role shouldn't change due to the clean bill of health currently enjoyed by the rest of Oakland's offensive weapons.

The NFL's request for an expedited hearing pertaining to the preliminary injunction of Elliott's suspension was rejected Monday, meaning the running back should be on track to play Week 8 against the Redskins, ESPN.com reports

As a result, Elliott's hearing will be held Oct. 30, one day after the Cowboys take on Washington. He's coming off his best showing of the season in Sunday's 40-10 win over the 49ers, during which he logged 147 yards and two touchdowns on 26 carries and added a 72-yard receiving score. Whether or not Elliott will have to serve the any portion of the six-game suspension he originally received in August in the second half of the season should be determined shortly after the Oct. 30 hearing.

Breida tallied just five yards on three carries in Sunday's 40-10 loss to the Cowboys.

Breida has seen his touches decrease in two consecutive weeks since appearing to gain a larger role Week 5. The lack of usage may be linked to rumors surrounding a potential trade of starting running back Carlos Hyde. While the 49ers denied the claims, it is worth noting that they acted similarly before trading away Vance McDonald this past offseason. The team already parted ways with All-Pro linebacker NaVorro Bowman, and at 0-7, it would be surprising if the Niners weren't trying to move some of their impending free agents. Breida's reduced role these past two weeks makes him unstartable in almost any format, but forward-thinking owners should continue to hold on to the rookie at least until the Oct. 31 trade deadline passes.

Vereen had two carries for four yards and caught three of his four targets for two yards against the Seahawks on Sunday.

It's been two straight games that Vereen, despite the team's dearth of receiving options, hasn't been a factor. You'd think with Eli Manning checking it down so much Vereen would have a bigger role, but so far that hasn't happened.

Elliott rushed 26 times for 147 yards and two touchdowns to go with one reception for 72 yards and another score in Sunday's 40-10 victory over the 49ers.

Elliott's 219 total yards were a career high, besting his total of 209 from Week 10 of last year, when he also scored three touchdowns. He certainly isn't letting off-field issues affect his play, as he finished the Cowboys' second and third drives of the day with scores from one and 25 yards out, respectively. Then, on Dallas' first play of the second half, the former Buckeye caught a screen pass and juked and weaved through several San Francisco defenders for his third TD, a 72-yard play. Elliott's owners will need to be vigilant leading up to Week 8's matchup against Washington since it is possible his suspension could be reinstated by then.

Anderson gained 44 yards on 10 carries and caught one pass for 17 yards in Sunday's 21-0 loss to the Chargers.

Anderson managed a respectable 4.4 yards per carry, but his team struggled to keep pace with the hosts and were forced to abandon the running game in the second half. He ceded just six total carries to Jamaal Charles and Devontae Booker, who combined for eight yards, and appears to have the featured role locked up for the time being. Opposing defenses will be able to key in on Anderson as long as the passing game continues to struggle, but his skill set and double-digit touches each week support his fantasy value. He'll look to get more involved next week against the Chiefs.

Jones rushed for 131 yards and a touchdown on 17 carries and brought in three of five targets for seven yards in Sunday's 26-17 loss to the Saints.

On an afternoon in which the Packers sorely missed Aaron Rodgers (collarbone), Jones provided plenty of reason for optimism with his second 100-yard effort in the last three weeks. The 22-year-old opened the scoring on the afternoon with a career-high 46-yard touchdown scamper through the heart of the Saints defense in the first quarter, showcasing excellent speed in the process. A changing of the guard in the Green Bay backfield -- at least for the moment -- may have unfolded Sunday, as fellow back Ty Montgomery significantly trailed Jones in only logging four carries. With the rookie showing plenty of promise, head coach Mike McCarthy may opt to continue tipping the rushing workload in his favor while deploying Montgomery more in the jack-of-all-trades, complementary role for which he seems ideally suited. Jones will look to build on his breakout effort when the Packers face the Lions in a Week 9 showdown following their Week 8 bye.

Kamara rushed nine times for 57 yards and secured five of seven targets for 50 yards in Sunday's 26-17 win over the Packers.

The rookie was once again effective in a complementary role, and he's now logged 19 carries for 132 yards along with eight receptions for 62 yards over the last two games. That boost in production has coincided with Adrian Peterson's exit from New Orleans, as the presence of one fewer mouth to feed in the backfield appears to have freed up head coach Sean Payton to give Kamara a more consistent workload. The 22-year-old's game-breaking speed and role in a prolific offense afford him an abundance of fantasy upside, potential on which he'll look to deliver in a Week 8 home matchup against the Bears.

Gordon carried 18 times for 38 yards and caught one of four targets for 6 yards in Sunday's 21-0 win over the Broncos.

Gordon managed a long gain of 21 yards in this one, but he recorded just 17 yards with the rest of his carries against the stout Denver front. He also was unable to make an impact as a pass catcher, notching just one short gain through the air after recording nine grabs a week ago. His tough day can be attributed to a difficult matchup, and there should be more room to run next week against the Patriots.
