Donnel Pumphrey RB | DET
Eagles' Donnel Pumphrey: Unlikely to play Thursday
Pumphrey (lower body) is not expected to participate in Thursday's exhibition game against the Patriots, Les Bowen of Philly.com reports.
Pumphrey left Saturday's practice with a lower body injury and has been held out since. The severity of this issue is unknown at this time, but he is not expected to suit up for Week 2 of the preseason. With several running backs ahead of him on the depth chart, a quick return would be advantageous for his chances of earning a spot on the final roster.

Tion Green RB | DET
Colts' Tion Green: Picked up by Colts
The Colts and Green agreed to a contract Tuesday.
Green accumulated 165 yards and two touchdowns on 42 carries to go along with two receptions for 14 yards across five games as a rookie for the Lions last season. There are a plethora of running backs already on the Colts' depth chart, but several are nursing injuries, which could give Green an opportunity to impress right away. Still, he figures to have an uphill battle in terms of making the team's final roster.

Matt Jones RB | WAS
Eagles' Matt Jones: Could be busy Thursday
Jones expects to see plenty of work in Thursday's preseason game against the Patriots, the Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
Fellow running backs Corey Clement, Donnel Pumphrey and Josh Adams missed Tuesday's practice and are thus unlikely to play Thursday. Meanwhile, we doubt the team will employ starter Jay Ajayi extensively. As a result, Jones and Wendell Smallwood could be busy in the contest. Adjust your DFS lineups accordingly.

Corey Clement RB | ARI
Eagles' Corey Clement: Expected back by Week 1
Clement is dealing with an unspecified lower body injury and should be ready for Week 1, Jeff McLane of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
Clement has been held out of practice the past five days after taking five carries for 30 yards in last week's preseason opener versus the Steelers. He'll presumably miss Thursday's exhibition in New England, but Eagles coach Doug Pederson doesn't sound too worried about Clement's availability for the regular season. The second-year pro is expected to work in a backfield committee with Jay Ajayi and Darren Sproles, running behind one of the best offensive lines in the league.

Corey Clement RB | ARI
Eagles' Corey Clement: Misses another day
Clement (undisclosed) isn't practicing Tuesday, Dave Zangaro of NBC Sports Philadelphia reports.
Clement's absence from a fourth straight practice all but ensures he'll miss Thursday's preseason game in New England. He had five carries for 30 yards in last week's preseason opener against the Steelers, showing why he's one of the more valuable backup running backs in the league. Of course, it also doesn't hurt that starter Jay Ajayi has a worrisome medical history, along with a multi-year track record of struggling as a pass catcher and pass blocker. Prior to Clement's current unspecified injury, both he and Ajayi had been healthy throughout all of the offseason program and training camp.

Saquon Barkley RB | PHI
Giants' Saquon Barkley: Not in pads Tuesday
Barkley (hamstring) is on the field in uniform for Tuesday's practice, but he isn't wearing any pads, Ben Volin of The Boston Globe reports.
While he's unlikely to do much besides watch his teammates, Barkley's presence on the field is another indicator that his hamstring injury isn't serious. The Giants referred to it as a "mild strain" after the rookie was removed from Monday's practice and spotted with a wrap on his left leg. Barkley, who is considered day-to-day, likely will be held out of Friday's preseason game in Detroit, but his Week 1 availability doesn't seem to be in danger.

Chris Warren RB | LV
Raiders' Chris Warren: Rushes for 86 yards in preseason opener
Warren rushed for 86 yards on 13 carries in Friday's preseason win over the Lions.
Warren was the game's rushing leader by a wide margin, as DeAndre Washington finished a distant second with 38 yards of his own. Warren, who went undrafted out of the University of Texas, averaged 6.6 yards per carry in his NFL preseason debut as he continues to battle for a roster spot behind Marshawn Lynch, Doug Martin, Jalen Richard and DeAndre Washington. According to Pro Football Focus, Warren also averaged an impressive 3.6 yards after contact per attempt during Friday's tilt, Marcus Mosher of USA Today reports.

Saquon Barkley RB | PHI
Giants' Saquon Barkley: Dealing with mild strain
The Giants are referring to Barkley's left hamstring issue as a "mild strain."
The team chose to address Barkley's status because he left practice early Monday after stretching out to make a catch. The running back's left leg was wrapped for the remainder of the session and subsequently examined. Per coach Pat Shurmur, the Giants plan to "be smart" with their prized rookie "as we move along here." His statement suggests that the team will employ a cautious approach, which likely foreshadows Barkley sitting out Friday's preseason game against the Lions.

Ray Lawry RB | CIN
Chiefs' Ray Lawry: Joining Kansas City
Lawry signed with the Chiefs on Monday, Terez A. Paylor of Yahoo Sports reports.
With both Kerwynn Williams (head) and Damien Williams (shoulder) recently suffering injuries, Lawry will join the Chiefs as an extra body in the backfield during the preseason. Lawry was most recently released by the Bengals after signing with the team as an undrafted free agent and should be considered a long shot to make Kansas City's final roster.

Saquon Barkley RB | PHI
Giants' Saquon Barkley: Tweaks hamstring
Barkley, who tweaked his hamstring at practice Monday, has indicated that he is fine, Dianna Russini of ESPN reports.
Per the report, the Giants don't seem too concerned about the rookie running back's injury scare. We'll consider Barkley day-to-day as Friday's preseason game against the Lions approaches.
