Benny Cunningham RB | JAC
Bears' Benny Cunningham: Sees first carries of season
Cunningham carried the ball three times for eight yards in Sunday's loss to the Dolphins.
Surprisingly, Cunningham received his first three carries of the season in the fourth quarter while the game was still in question, with the coaching staff surprisingly choosing not to give those touches to Jordan Howard or Tarik Cohen. With just four totes for 17 yards on the season, Cunningham would need an injury to one of the other running backs to have increased fantasy value.

Jacquizz Rodgers RB | NO
Buccaneers' Jacquizz Rodgers: Pair of kick returns in Week 6 loss
Rodgers returned two kickoffs for 31 yards in the Buccaneers' 34-29 loss to the Falcons on Sunday.
Rodgers did not see any work from scrimmage for the second consecutive game, a trend that's coincided with the active status of rookie Ronald Jones II. The versatile veteran will likely be relegated to special teams work moving forward unless there are injuries in front of him.

Ronald Jones RB | DAL
Buccaneers' Ronald Jones II: Logs four touches in Week 6 loss
Jones rushed once for three yards and brought in all three targets for 16 yards in the Buccaneers' 34-29 loss to the Falcons.
The rookie had seen 11 total touches in a Week 4 blowout loss to the Bears, but it appears that the bump in opportunity may have been largely due to game script. Jones was back to playing a decidedly secondary role to Peyton Barber in Week 6, with the latter showing well by averaging 6.3 yards per rush on 13 carries and adding another four touches through the air. Jones' modest passing-game involvement is somewhat encouraging, but he remains largely out of the fantasy conversation heading into a Week 7 interconference showdown with the Browns.

Derrick Henry RB | BAL
Titans' Derrick Henry: Totals eight touches
Henry rushed for 21 yards on seven carries during Sunday's 21-0 loss to the Ravens. He also added one reception for five yards.
Henry led the Titans' backfield with eight touches but still didn't get enough volume to make an impact. That was due at least in part to game script; however, Henry has yet to see 20 touches in a game this season. Henry's poor individual performance -- he's averaging just 3.4 yards per carry -- and the Titans' poor offense have led to disappointing results through six games. Henry will look to get things going in Week 7 against the Chargers.

Ezekiel Elliott RB | LAC
Cowboys' Ezekiel Elliott: Totals 117 scrimmage yards in win
Elliott carried 24 times for 106 yards and a touchdown during Sunday's 40-7 win over the Jaguars. He also caught his only target for an additional 11 yards.
Elliott went over 100 rushing yards for the third time this season and broke off a long gain of 20 yards. He was rewarded for his efforts with a 15-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter as the Cowboys continued to pour it on after building a sizable lead. While Elliott wasn't quite as involved as a pass catcher in this one, that can merely be attributed to the fact that his team led from the beginning and was content to run the ball. He hadn't reached the end zone on the ground since Week 2, but his score in this one made him the fastest player in franchise history to record 25 career rushing touchdowns. Elliott will look to build on another strong effort next Sunday against the Redskins.

Nyheim Miller-Hines RB | NO
Colts' Nyheim Hines: Totals 35 yards in loss
Hines rushed three times for 14 yards and added 21 yards on two catches during Sunday's 42-34 loss to the Jets.
Marlon Mack returned to the backfield for the first time since Week 2 and, not surprisingly, Hines' five touches ended up being his lowest total since Week 2. Hines has developed into a solid option in the passing game, something Mack hasn't really shown much of thus far in his career. That might keep Hines more active than he otherwise would be now that Mack is back in the fold, but Sunday's quiet outing against New York doesn't offer a ton of promise. A stout Buffalo defense awaits Sunday.

Marlon Mack RB | ARI
Colts' Marlon Mack: Tallies 93 yards in return
Mack ran for 89 yards on 12 carries and had a four-yard catch during Sunday's 42-34 loss to the Jets.
The 93 total yards tied a career high for Mack, who was playing his first offensive snaps since Week 2. Trailing by multiple scores early certainly didn't help the Colts stick with the run, but -- provided he's healthy -- Mack looks to be the bell cow in an Indianapolis backfield that struggled mightily in his absence. A Bills defense giving up just 3.8 yards per carry provides a tough next test Sunday.
-
Kenyan Drake RB | GB
Dolphins' Kenyan Drake: Splits work, loses key fumble in win
Drake rushed 13 times for 57 yards while catching four of six targets for 21 yards and losing a fumble in Sunday's 31-28 overtime win over the Bears.
Nobody will be more relieved than Drake that Miami pulled this one out, as his fumble occurred at Chicago's 1-yard line in overtime. As usual, he split work with Frank Gore, who rushed for 101 yards on 15 carries. The two running backs should continue to platoon against the vulnerable Lions run defense in Week 7.
-
Rashaad Penny RB | CAR
Seahawks' Rashaad Penny: Back in running back rotation
Penny rushed nine times for 43 yards and caught both of his targets for 27 more in Sunday's 27-3 win over the Raiders at Wembley Stadium.
Penny was the Seattle's most effective running back ahead of Chris Carson (59 yards on 14 touches) and Mike Davis (26 yards on seven touches). Carson is still ahead of Penny in the pecking order, as the 27th overall selection in the 2018 draft is still searching for his first career touchdown heading into Seattle's Week 7 bye.
-
Joe Mixon RB | HOU
Bengals' Joe Mixon: Late rushing score not enough
Mixon rushed 11 times for 64 yards and a touchdown while catching four of seven targets for 20 yards in Sunday's 28-21 loss to Pittsburgh.
Mixon gave his team a 21-20 lead with 1:18 remaining on a four-yard rushing score. Cincinnati likely regrets not giving Mixon more work, as he was extremely effective on a per-touch basis. Expect more opportunities for the workhorse running back against the vulnerable Chiefs defense in Week 7.
