Doug Martin RB | LV
Raiders' Doug Martin: Scores first touchdown of season
Martin ran for 51 yards and a touchdown on 11 carries and added 21 yards on three catches during Sunday's 34-17 loss to Baltimore.
Martin barreled into the end zone for a 1-yard score to cap the first drive of the game, a play that was originally ruled a fumble. It was the veteran's first touchdown of the season. The Raiders have had an ugly season, but Martin has recorded at least 10 carries in each of his five games since Marshawn Lynch (groin) was place on injured reserve, averaging a solid 4.8 yards per carry. He gets a great matchup next Sunday against a Chiefs defense surrendering 5.0 yards per opponent carry this season.

Gus Edwards RB | LAC
Ravens' Gus Edwards: Takes reins in Baltimore
Edwards carried the ball 23 times for 118 yards during Sunday's 34-17 win over Oakland.
Edwards, with Alex Collins (foot) out, looked mighty fine taking snaps next to Lamar Jackson and pounding the ball down the Raiders' throat. The undrafted rookie has topped 100 yards in each of his past two games and, perhaps most impressively, he's been getting yards in chunks despite a stocky frame, averaging 5.8 yards per carry. The Ravens haven't gotten a ton of consistent yardage out of their running game this season, so expect them to ride the hot hand in Edwards. He gets a great matchup next Sunday against a Falcons defense surrendering a whopping 5.1 yards per carry.

Melvin Gordon RB | BAL
Chargers' Melvin Gordon: Exits game with knee injury
Gordon was forced out of Sunday's game against the Cardinals with a right knee injury, Eric D. Williams of ESPN.com reports.
Prior to his exit, Gordon had logged 10 carries for 61 yards with two TDs and caught two passes for five yards. Next up for the team's carries Sunday are Austin Ekeler and Justin Jackson.

Joe Mixon RB | HOU
Bengals' Joe Mixon: Totals 155 scrimmage yards in loss
Mixon rushed 14 times for 89 yards and caught all seven of his targets for 66 yards in Sunday's 35-20 loss to Cleveland.
Considering the Bengals dug themselves into a 28-0 hole in this one and largely abandoned the run, Mixon had himself a nice outing. His average of 6.4 yards per carry and seven receptions were both season highs. With the Bengals falling behind early and often of late, Mixon has come up short of the 15-carry mark in each of the past three games and five of the past six. With quarterback Andy Dalton leaving this one due to a thumb injury, Mixon will likely serve as the focal point of Cincinnati's offense against a shoddy Broncos run defense in Week 13.

Nick Chubb RB | HOU
Browns' Nick Chubb: Two more touchdowns in Week 12
Chubb rushed 28 times for 84 yards and a touchdown while catching all three of his targets for 44 yards and another score in Sunday's 35-20 win over Cincinnati.
Cleveland raced out to a 28-0 lead in this one, with Chubb scoring two of the four touchdowns in that dominant stretch. His first score came via a one-yard run while the second was a spectacular 14-yard catch on which Chubb reached around a Bengals defender to secure the ball in the end zone. While the rookie running back averaged only 3.0 yards per carry, his two trips to the end zone more than made up for that poor average. Chubb's quickly emerging as one of the league's most productive running backs and should hold plenty of fantasy value in Week 13 despite a tricky matchup with a stout Texans defense.

Rashaad Penny RB | CAR
Seahawks' Rashaad Penny: Rarely used in win
Penny rushed four times for four yards in Sunday's win over the Panthers.
Penny's carries were distributed between two different drives, as he clearly wasn't an integral part of the Seahawks' game plan while Chris Carson led the way with 16 carries for 55 yards. It appears Penny will need to break off big runs to lock in touches like he did in the two previous games, though he could see more work in Week 13 if the Seahawks jump out to a sizable lead in a home game against the 49ers.
-
Saquon Barkley RB | PHI
Giants' Saquon Barkley: Scores two touchdowns
Barkley carried 13 times for 101 yards and a touchdown Sunday against the Eagles. He also caught seven passes for an additional 41 yards and a touchdown in the 25-22 loss.
Barkley was outstanding in the first half, scoring a rushing and receiving touchdown while racking up over 100 scrimmage yards. He received considerably less work in the second half and wasn't nearly as effective, which is somewhat hard to fathom considering his team enjoyed a lead heading into the fourth quarter. While he could have had an even bigger day, Barkley still managed another excellent performance and is now up to 12 total touchdowns this season. He'll look to build on this effort next Sunday against the Bears.
-
Christian McCaffrey RB | SF
Panthers' Christian McCaffrey: Dominant as rusher and receiver
McCaffrey rushed 17 times for 125 yards and a touchdown while catching all 11 of his targets for another 112 yards and another score in Sunday's 30-27 loss to the Seahawks. He also fumbled three times but didn't lose any.
McCaffrey took over after Seattle tied the game at 20-20 with just under 10 minutes remaining. He ripped off runs of 59 and 15 yards on the next two plays to get down to the 1-yard line, then capped the drive with a two-yard touchdown catch three plays later. That touchdown was his second of the day, complementing a one-yard rushing score in the third quarter. While his efforts weren't enough to thwart a late Seattle comeback here, McCaffrey's been a touchdown machine of late, with five on the ground and four more through the air over the past five games. Expect another strong performance in Week 13 against a leaky Buccaneers defense.
-
Matt Breida RB | SF
49ers' Matt Breida: Thrives in Week 12 defeat
Breida rushed 14 times for 106 yards and brought in three of four targets for 34 yards in the 49ers' 27-9 loss to the Buccaneers on Sunday.
Breida was projected to see a bump in touches with veteran Alfred Morris (coach's decision) inactive, but rookie Jeff Wilson Jr. ended up taking seven touches from him. However, Breida still doubled him up in carries while eclipsing the 100-yard mark for the second straight game and third time overall this season. Breida encouragingly also notched a trio of grabs for the second consecutive game, and a consistent pass-catching role down the stretch would naturally boost his fantasy outlook. Breida will look to eclipse the century mark for a third straight game against the Seahawks in Week 13.

Melvin Gordon RB | BAL
Chargers' Melvin Gordon: Cleared to play Week 12
Gordon (knee) is active for Sunday's game against the Cardinals.
A hamstring injury has been attached to Gordon for the better part of the past five weeks, forcing an absence Week 7. On this occasion, though, coach Anthony Lynn told Eric D. Williams of ESPN.com that Gordon's primary health concern is discomfort in his knee, which limited him in practice Thursday and Friday and made him a game-time decision. With his availability confirmed, Gordon should maintain a majority share of the work out of the Chargers backfield. The preceding has equated to 20.6 touches for 132.1 yards from scrimmage per game and 11 touchdowns in nine contests.
